Ya know, I never thought I would Yelp review a Steak N' Shake, I usually just eat at local family owned spots, but sometimes in the wee hours of the morning you kinda just gotta go with whatever is open. Enter Steak N' Shake. Its pretty cut and dry what kind of place this is, you get what you get, greasy steak burger and fries, but man this place was just on point. The service was friendly, the food came out promptly and tasted as good as a Steak and Shake possibly could. I really just felt it necessary to congratulate these guys on a job well done. Once again, this place is a fast food restaurant, I know that, they know that. They did a great job and I commend them.

I have always loved Steak & Shake but last nights experience will make me think a little harder next time before I go there. Waited over an hour in the drive threw then after we got our food the order was messed up and my sandwich looks as if it was just thrown together. And to top it the gentlemen in drive thru, there was no apology basically didn't say a word.

Not much on the menu for vegetarians, but I guess that's common in Murfreesboro...So I gave Steak N Shakes breakfast a try...and kind of wishing I hadn't. I'll stick to Waffle House, they're cheaper and give you lots more food.

I like steak n shake, but this store is slow and filthy. Doesn't matter if you go during off time or not, you get the same bad service and dirty restaurant. I have been multiple times so it is not a one off experience. I suggest you skip as I will be in the future.

Beware: very few gluten free items. They are somewhat unaware about gluten. They had every accommodation they could- they cleaned the grill and the manager specially cooked our meat to make sure no cross contamination occurred. Maybe if I went back I would only get a milkshake.

Just waited 25 minutes in the drive thru only to never move an inch. Went inside to try to get service and got laughed at when we mentioned how long we spent in the drive thru and were told "it'll be that plus 10 more in here." Wtf.

We are a group of 15 and came in at around 9 pm. We were seated right away but waited for 20 minutes before getting the menu. There are several customers that came after us and they were given menu and served their food right away but we waited :-(. Service is so poor!!!

Went in tonight to get my Steak and Shake fix. They were busy and needed to bus tables so we assumed we would have to wait. Waited over five minutes without a greeting or a "we will be right with you, we just need to clean off some tables." Instead we were just stared at as employees passed us so we just left. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired it seems.

I went to the Chick-Fil-A across the street but it was packed so I decided to come over to Steak n'Shake to get an Apple Pecan Chicken Salad which is one of my favorites. It was almost as equally packed. It took me a while to get seated but was finally able to sit at the counter since I was by myself. I ordered my apple pecan salad only to be told they were out of apples. I said ok, just give me the salad without the apples. I was then informed that they were also out of the berry balsamic dressing. Really?!? Out of two major items? It also took a long time for my food to come out. The only positive thing at this location was my server Stephanie who was young but vert attentive and courteous. I normally like Steak'n'Shake but I'll be skipping this location from now on.

Terrible service waited for 15 minutes after being seated for someone to take a drink order saw multiple employees wandering around looking lost not a great experience plus it smelled like a bunch of garbage in the restaurant.

The service is hit or miss with this place. Heads up, if you see a seat that you want that will accommodate you and your party don't ask to be seated there. They will seat a party of 2 at a table of 6 when a table for 2 or 3 is available. On a a brighter note, the parmesan cheese fries are the bomb.

Figured I'd check out this place after work so I did and it was practically empty. They found me a seat the second I went in. Apparently there's an older crowd in the mornings. My food was made fresh to order and everything was nice, hot n delicious. Heads up the buffalo shooter is ridiculously hot. I recommend it.

Planned on walking in and eating. Waited to be seated, seeing there were multiple open tables. Two servers approached my family, one suggested a booth, the other said no & said we would have to wait for an available booth, 5+ minutes. To say the least, we left. Went to Smash Burger instead... Wow way better food for the same price
