The best cheesy fries I have ever had. Seasoned and covered with several types of cheese and covered in bacon. we also got a honey mustard burger (very yummy) and hot wings. The wings in flavor are the best we have ever had but they were not hot. There is a slight kick but no actual heat. If they could make the sauce hotter they would be the place to go. Judging ny the other patron, Jefferson's is a MTSU hangout with lots of TVs to watch the game on. We will definitely be going back.

Though I haven't returned yet, my previous review got an immediate response from the manager -- who wasn't even working the day I wrote the review. Because they pay such close attention to their customers' feedback, we will be heading back soon to give them another try.

I love Jefferson's. It's got a casual and welcoming atmosphere. I've been here numerous times now, and only once did we receive less than great service - once the waitress was a bit forgetful and the food took a long time to come, but that's literally the only time that ever happened and the waitress was very sweet and apologetic. As far as appetizers, there are a lot of great ones. Love the corn nuggets, the fried pickles, and the cheese fries. Although, I think the cheese fries are better with just the cheese and bacon crumbles than they are with the chili added. The wings are SO damn good. This is definitely the place to go for wings in Murfreesboro. Beats Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, any other place you'd eat wings. They are non-breaded but perfectly crisp on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. They have a ton of great flavors. I definitely recommend trying the Sweet and Sassy flavor. I have tried every flavor and there is not a single one I didn't like. My boyfriend wasn't huge on the Caribbean Jerk (more of a dry rub than a sauce) or the Garlic Parmesan (cheesy garlic cream sauce) but he's just more of classic flavor kind of guy. I thought they were all delicious. I haven't tried any of the entrees other than the wings. They're so good that I can't bring myself to order something different. But perhaps someday!

AGHHHH I love this place. I've been trying to find a solid wing joint in Murfreesboro and Jefferson's is awesome! My favorite wings are...the garlic and parmesan, as well as the Asian zinger (I think that's the name). The restaurant has a college-y vibe, which is no surprise since it's basically across the street from MTSU. My college days are loooong gone, but I love coming her because of the atmosphere. The service is great and I've met some awesome people while dining here. It's cheap. It's delicious. It's awesome.

I've dined in for Jefferson's and have ordered take out multiple times and have never been disappointed. Amazing atmosphere and food every time. The wings are by far the best of Murfreesboro.

Stop what you are doing, and go to Jefferson's NOW. It's so good. Local beers, patio to sit on, quiet location, I just love it. Wings AND burgers are both wonderful.

I stopped in for lunch at Jefferson's today. The food was great. The server was friendly and attentive. I got the wings, half mild half garlic Parmesan. The wings are crispy which I like. They are not breaded either. When wings aren't crisp places tend to undercook the wings especially larger wings. You don't have that problem here. If I had any suggestion, it would be the mild wings needed a little more sauce. The fries were seasoned perfectly. I prefer fresh cut fries, but the fries are crinkle cut and good. It is a small place with only about 10 tables, so you might have to wait if they are busy. I think a larger space would bring in more customers, but I will be back regardless.

Pretty good little burger and stuff joint. Nice place to grab a bite. I'll have to go back and try the oysters and other stuff I saw on the menu. Cheap beer too!

Just moved to Murfreesboro in November, haven't explored much yet. Went on yelp looking for a good place for wings and a beer and I was not disappointed. Got a 10 piece lemon pepper w/ fries and two beers for $20 including tip. Place had a nice lively atmosphere. Bar only had 4 or 5 seats but they have plenty of tables, good place to go with a group. Next time I go I'll have to try the oysters.

Cool vibe and friendly staff. Awesome wings that are battered, fried and sauced. Delicious onion rings and fried pickles. Guests can decorate a dollar bill and post on the wall.

It's all in the preference at Jeffersons if you like your wings burnt to a crisp go for bone in for some reason they automatically cook them that way so if you don't want them dry you have to specify I wouldn't go for boneless wings here it seems like a lower quality meat the owner of this place is so friendly and he comes out and greats the customers and checks on their food he's an amazing guy he knows how to do wings. go here

Wings (double dip or sweet 'n sassy), fried oysters, cheesesteak, a few local/craft beers on rotation, outdoor seating, friendly staff and a fairly attractive clientele all make it a worthwhile stop.

Ate there for lunch . I had their signature dish-double dipped wings. Wings were small, fried too long and had little flavor. I'll stick with Toots.

Jefferson's is fairly new to Murfreesboro, although the history on the menu says they have been around since 1991 in Alabama. When I saw they had raw oysters on the menu, I wondered if a small, casual eatery could really succeed in carrying a line that was fragile, perishable and expensive and compete against the bigger seafood restaurants in town such as Bonefish, Wang's, and (ugh!) Red Lobster. The restaurant is small but well-furnished. College pennants and personalized dollar bills tacked to the walls inform you that they cater to the college and college-friendly crowd. I was excited to find out that oysters are the Tuesday special and can be had for $0.75 each! That was a deal too good to pass up. The oysters come from the Alabama gulf coast and were as fresh as any I've had in Tennessee. I know other places have the all-you-can eat thing going, but their oysters were little brothers and sisters compared to Jefferson's oysters. The fried oyster basket was made using the fresh oysters and were very good. They were accompanied by a generous portion of crinkle cut french fries. Service as attentive and not intrusive and we never felt rushed. I will put this place on my monthly rotation, if not weekly (Tuesday!) rotation.

Super Bowl wing choice....first time to frequent. Got the double dipped, medium and BBQ. Double dipped and medium were tasty, large, and sliced well. Not hot by any stretch but good flavors. Also got the BBQ---no go on those, and an order of corn nuggets. If I am ever laid up for a while (which I hope not to be), friends can go pick these up and throw them into my mouth out of sympathy. Those are pockets of love.

My friend and I use to eat here once a week. With the service getting worse every single time, we are no longer going back. Food is great, but the service is soooo bad unless you are a douchey frat guy. We came in and sat down. They acknowledged us, but they stood there talking for 5 minutes. Not angry customer who says 1 minute is 5 minutes, but a timed 5 minutes. Bianca was our server and she only came to our table 5 times the entire time we were there. the 4th time she stopped by I was surprised. 1st time she came by she got our drinks, the 2nd time she got our food order. The 3rd time she was dropping off our food and i'm glad I ordered another beer then because I would not have talked to her again for 20 minutes. 4th time she came by quickly to grab our empty dishes and not say a word. I was expecting her at some point to ask how were liking our food, but that was a no. I could have absolutely hated my food but she would never know because she didn't come to the table. The 5th and final time she came to the table was to say, "hope everything was good, are you on separate checks". Well I wanted dessert but I guess I'll spend my money else were for that. What was Bianca doing the entire time we were there? She was talking to a table of douchey frat guys flirting. My friend kept making the comment over and over I guess we have to be a frat guy to get any service here. At one point she even said I can get you guys some free beer. I looked at my friend and said did she just say.. and he said yes.. she is getting them all free beer. Even while we were waiting to order our food she was at that table. I'm never going back and neither is my friend. Awful service.
