This is a hidden gem in Millington! Service is quick, and the food is always delicious. The plum wine pour is always on the fuller side, which I will never turn down. It's our favorite place to go before movie date night!

Well been awhile since I visited. Had a To go order today. Sushi Combo and one order of tekka maki. Sushi combo was ok. Instead of Tekka Maki I received Tekka Nigiri. Huge difference. Expected a salad with combo... No salad

Food was good, not great for the price. Service left a bit to be desired. No military discount which was surprising for this areas restaurants. Think we will try a new place next time.

This is my goto place for lunch sushi/sashimi. They have traditional rolls like the Californian but also deep fried flavor country like the Kobe roll. I wouldn't waste my time with the cheaper rolls, but I guess you always get what you pay for. Service is typically pretty fast and the place had a clean atmosphere.

Love everything I've tried so far.. Hibachi salmon, steak, lobster, sushi... Everything is great. Servers can use a little more enthusiasm and better customer service skills. 5 stars for the food and 3 stars for service...

The staff at this establishment were fantastic. Our waitress came up to our table numerous times to see if we were ready to order or had any questions about anything. The food was prepared quickly and it was hot. Their prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I would recommend this place to everyone and I will certainly return.

Best Japanese in Millington! Attentive wait staff and very good sushi rolls. Not expecting anything half decent in TN coming from CA but I was surprised! Now if I could only get my kids to stop fighting with the chop sticks...

Came in around 730pm with a group of 10. They were very friendly and quick. We had a great meal, a few drinks, and quality service. If you are not getting new then this is a good option.

Friendly, clean, and affordable. I have returned for a second delicious meal. Pleasant and beautiful staff. Portions are large for the price. Price is very reasonable for this type of food. Salad is great as is the soup. I will be back.

Waitstaff was great! Server actually setup wifi tethering from her personal phone cause I didn't have any data! Rolls were great, clean flavors, excellent price point!

I didn't even know this place existed in Millington, I was trying to scope out the hair place next door and saw this in the same shopping area. My husband and I had some deep fried rolls, The Navy roll and another that started with an A. They were both delish. I also had the house salad, was a bit surprised that it wasn't served with a ginger dressing, I figured that was standard for Japanese restaurants but I guess not here. The interior was clean and service was very attentive. Will be returning.

You can ask for soft shell crab as an appetizer even though it's not an on-menu item. :-)

I've never dined in, but always call and order some takeout fried rice. It is very good, and they give you plenty!!

The must trys are: Navy Roll, Da Bomb and their Shumai for appetizers. I usually start with Edamame and Shumai whenever i dine out in this restaurant. I always visit this place once or twice a month and it never failed to provide quality service and good food.

Kobe offers a hibachi meal without the distraction of grills in the middle of the restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and it's nice to relax in a booth with a glass of wine and your friends while your food is being prepared. Ignore the Wal-Mart across the street; enter Kobe and enjoy the pleasant, casual atmosphere. They usually have televisions on, but it's not a distraction. My favorites: sobe udon with vegetable and the vegetable hibachi dinner. The dinner comes with a cup of soup, a small salad, and fried rice. The udon is incredible - I love the pan fried thick noodles! - but sometimes could use more vegetables. Still, I'm just tickled to have vegetarian choices when visiting Millington.

Tried it a couple of times. Won't try it again. Was served a bug with my meal, though they did replace it immediately. It was not a yuck bug but a mosquito hawk which I'm sure just flew in with one of the guests. Nonetheless, it came out on my food! Sushi, no thanks! Only offer rolls. Don't advertise yourself as a sushi restaurant if you don't offer nigiri or sashimi.

I had the Millington and the Navy rolls. Both were tasty, but I prefer the vegetable tempura roll(I'm a vegetarian but eat fish occasionally). The staff are always friendly and they are usually pretty good about getting food to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The only thing I would like to see is more vegetation options on the menu. They are pretty good though at adapting a plate to your specifications.

This place is something where you know you're going to get good food. But it's a tad bit pricey but if you want to eat pretty well for the price you pay it's well worth it. I have only been once so far but I would love to go back and try again.

I went to Kobe yesterday and was very surprised! I had driven by this restaurant many times and never stopped in. I chose the Shrimp tempura bento box lunch. It came with a small salad (tasty!), small bowl of Miso soup (I had never had before and am craving it today!), two tempura shrimp, tempura mixed veg, 4 California rolls, a spring roll, and fried rice ( I substituted sauteed veg). Everything was rich in flavor, sumptuous and very fairly priced at $8.59. My friends shared a taste of their Navy rolls with me and I was a little bit jealous that I didn't place an order for those to take home! I really like the decor. It feels like a sleek, relaxing lounge area. Our waitress was very polite, well mannered and knowledgeable! It exceeded my expectations!

i tried almost everything on the menu. not the best japanese restaurant i've ever tried but food is still good. & can't beat having this restaurant in the middle of boring millington. we were actually shocked and excited when we first heard they were opening a sushi restaurant right here in millington. my husband loves his filet mignon hibachi. fried rice tastes oily to me so i try to avoid it. all the sushi's i've tried are all pretty good too. not the best, but good. my kids love the yakisoba and shrimp tempura. although they only give you 2 shrimps and the rest vegetables. they should call it shrimp and vegetable tempura instead of just shrimp tempura. so misleading. my favorite japanese restaurant here in memphis is Edo. their tempura's are alot lighter and seems to absorb less oil. and Edo has more of the authentic dishes you would see at an authentic japanese restaurant.

I've been here quite a few times as I travel to Millington for work a number of weeks each year and need to eat lunch out each day. Only once was the service poor and that was only related to the time it took to get our food. Their sushi is great for a place in the Middle of Tennessee. Try the vegetable tempura roll! I wish they would start taking American Express.
