I love, love, love Pancho's. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I had lived in Maryville most of my life and this is one of my favorites places to eat (and it is jus seconds from my house BONUS). They have the BEST fajtias ever and the salsa is the really good not to hot but jus spicy enough. I have also eaten thier chicken chimichanga which are delicious too.I dont think anything on the menu is gonna be bad. The staff has always been friendly and promt even when they are packed which they are most days for lunch and dinner, (you know what they say if the park-n-lot is full then then you know it is good). You must try the margritas very tasty although I have had better but with delectable food and great staff who cares. I moved last year to Tampa and crave Pancho's I make a point to eat here before I go back. IF you LOVE mexican food then you MUST try this place out.

Ahhhh yes, Mexican food. No matter where you go, they all taste the same. They all have combo dinners where you can select your choices with rice and beans. Sound like an old record? Well it is! On the other hand, Panchos sticks out in my taste buds because the food quality is better then the others I have been to. The fresh , home made tamales melt in your mouth and the ground beef in the burritos and other classics is seasoned so well, you crave it!! Portions are perfect to fill you up without feeling "gorged". Like sweet tea? Yea, me too! The sweet tea is PERFECT! The best I have had here in the South! Sorry Granny, it is awesome! Only problem I have is the only hot sauce they have is a super hot sauce you need to ask for on the side. Maybe a bottle of hot sauce on the table would be a nice addition.

I used to come here all the time when I was little. My aunt used to work here, so my family would eat here to visit her. I haven't been in some time, but decided to take my girlfriend here for lunch. I wanted to see if it was still as good as I remembered. The service was a little slow, nothing too bad though. The food was tasty and fresh. Everything came out hot. I greatly enjoyed it. I had the chicken fajitas and my girlfriend had a burrito. I would definitely recommend the fajitas. I will be going back soon.

I have eaten here many times with my family. I hate it every time. The wait for food is about 20 mins, and the music there is annoying and repetitive. And don't even get me started about the food. My little brother had ordered a cheese quesadilla with french fries, and he got rice. RICE. How the heck do you even make that mistake? And when i got my cheese quesadilla with french fries, i took a bite into the quesadilla and instantly spat it back out. After opening the quesadilla, i discovered that there was lettuce strips everywhere! I specifically asked for cheese quesadilla, not a regurgitate recipe! The prices for sweet tea are ridiculous. I advise you not to eat here. I actually prefer Mcdonalds to this place!

Walked in for dinner and it had a good Mexican ambiance to it. Good prices. The staff was very polite and attentive. They're chips were good but the salsa was too watered down. I like that they give a queso bowl as well but the cheese wasn't thick enough either. Our party had ordered the Chicken Fajitas, Milanesa (Country style chicken), and I ordered the Carne Asada entree. The chicken fajitas were a bit dry but my steak was tender and juicy but a bit burnt on the outside. They're rice could use more tomato base. I asked for hot sauce on the side and was not disappointed with the kick it had. We also ordered a couple rounds of margaritas on the rocks which turned out to be too sweet. This place is decent if you're craving Tex-Mex. Growing up in Southern California, where Mexican food is incredible, I can appreciate this restaurant's Guadalajaran cooking. I would come back here to try their burrito.

Found the food to be well cooked. Meat was tender. Entrees had a lot of flavor, if anything I found my entree to be too salty. Prices were great. Service was laid back. In East TN, this is one of the better Mexican restaurants you'll find. There are not many options in the Maryville/Alcoa area. Hands down beats going to Cancun restaurant at Foothills Mall. If I were doing this review in California where Mexican food is amazing, I wouldn't be giving it 4 stars.

Friendly environment and great food at Panchos! Try the Roberto's Special. A regular on our families choices of restaurant dining.

Great Mexican food and their salsa is amazing. Quick service and good prices. A bit out of the way but worth it.

Good, honest Tex-Mex food at decent prices. I got a combination plate with a beef enchilada and a beef tostada. Nice flavors, generous portion of refried beans and rice, excellent and fresh toppings. Fear not!

We need more places like Pancho's in Blount County. From start to finish it is always a pleasure to eat here. Great flavor, great people and great price for the food.

LOVE this place! I ate here a lot with friends while in college. It was worth the drive out to Maryville, but there's also a more convenient-to-campus location in Knoxville. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite thing on the menu is Texas quesadillas, always served hot and full of yummy cheese, bacon, shrimp and chicken. It's a great spot for families, groups of friends, or even a casual date. Prices are very good and they always have specials going on. (For example, half off margaritas during UT games!) Service is also very friendly! Pancho's is a family-run business, which I love since local eateries tend to be better than chain restaurants. I've yet to find a Mexican restaurant anywhere else that can compare in taste or value with Pancho's.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
