Chicken salad was really good, homemade potato chips were yummy, but best of all was the chocolate trifle for dessert! They also make strawberry trifle. Great little place for lunch. I definitely recommend it.

Everything about this experience was great. The staff was very friendly and the reuben with homemade potato chips was exceptional. I highly recommend this place. To be honest the only reason I signed up for yelp was to post this review

It is not fancy but just like having lunch at your Grandma's house. Summer tea is a refreshing treat and the homemade chips are addicting. I was not a fan of the chicken salad with relish but the homemade potato soup was yummy. The best thing is Miss Olivia, she told us her goal is to be the next best cooking to your mom's. Step back in time and enjoy a home cooked meal.

I can't believe that I forgot to review Miss Olivia. I should be punished. This place, no, Miss Olivia is AMAZING. The mountains and trees and etc. etc. were great, don't get me wrong, but this, Miss Olivia and her food, were by far the highlight of our trip. I have never felt so more at home than at her "restaurant". It felt like I was sitting at my momma's table, but what I was served was actually incredibly delicious (sorry mom, not all of us can cook). I hate to even call it a restaurant because, I never felt that way. I felt like I already knew everyone there, like family, and that's exactly how I, and my soon to be hubby, were treated. But please, let me tell you about the catfish. Or maybe the hush-puppies. No, I'll start with the slaw. Oh MAN! The coleslaw - was - so - absolutely - indescribable. Like an explosion of awesomeness. Yes, I know, it's just coleslaw, right? No. Normally, I hate coleslaw, and when I saw it on the menu, I thought, "ok, I'll be nice, but I probably will just slide it under a napkin and hope no one checks". I just about licked that bowl clean. Fresh peppers, lightly dressed, it was incredible. Now the catfish, oh yes, the catfish. Lightly coated in an amazing breading and it was so crispy. I am a picky-eater (imagine that, right?) and there wasn't one morsel of this meal that I could complain about. Even the iced tea was amazing. Man, I wish I had a better word than "amazing". Whatever word is better than "amazing", that's what her food is. But, it wasn't just her food. Miss Olivia was so sweet and the epitome of, sorry to use it again, amazing service. She was so warm and loving. It made me wish that I could move to Tennessee. In fact, we made it a point that we stop here on the way back from our vacation in Gatlinburg to have one last meal with Miss Olivia. Not only were we satisfied, yet again, with her food and service, but she was sweet enough to pack us two bags of homemade potato chips for the plane home (as if it would even make it to the airport - YUM!). I miss Miss Olivia and her AMAZING food, too!!

This place is adorable, but I would love it if they could offer one vegan option on the menu.

Great little spot in Maryville. Miss Olivia and her staff work extra hard to take care of their customers. Much pride and care goes into her cooking. Enter as guests, leave as friends. This place is a real treasure.

Addictive! Best ingredients used. Staff is wonderful. Food is like our grandmothers used to make on a Sunday after church but higher end. [Sorry mamaw] Delicious...Priced perfectly. Maryville at its best! Should be reviewed by food network as a go-to for out of town visitors. And the coleslaw? #shutUPyoudontevenknow. ...and you can just RELAX here. ..and if you are from Blount Co., it is like a family reunion everytime you go!

Seriously so delicious. I got one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had here and their homemade chips are to die for. My mother got the meatloaf and it was great too. Their chocolate and strawberry trifles are delicious as well. Trust the reviews on this place. It's so good!

What! I have not yet written a review of Miss Olivia's? Thanks to two cool Yelpers, I found this place after dropping my Pops off at the airport. I was warmly welcomed. Miss Olivia clearly enjoys dotting on her visitors, and has a knack for perfect soups and sandwiches, fresh made chips and divine deserts. Expect a true cafe experience here. I like to drive out of my way to do errands, so that I have an excuse to go see Miss Olivia.

We visited after reading good reviews on Yelp. We loved it! I had chicken salad with fruit and homemade chips. Yum! The chicken salad had green pepper in it. I loved it but if you don't like green pepper you may not. The chips are as good as everyone says! We were greeted by Miss Olivia who is so sweet! I would highly recommend a visit!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. We were hiking and I called to see how long they were open. Miss Olivia said if we were running late to call and they would wait for us. Sandwiches were excellent and the homemade chips were to die for. We will definitely go back.

This is the first review I have written on Yelp, and liked this place so much, I hope a lot of people try it. I read the other two reviews, and one says she is hesitant about sharing it, because it is so good. I feel the same way, except I want them to stay in business! I've been several times this summer, it's my place of choice to take out of town visitors or just for a casual lunch for myself and a friend. First off, the home made potato chips are excellent. They sell them by the bag, but don't buy it, because you will eat them all and get ugly with any one that tries to share them. Most sandwiches are made with home made bread. I have not tried them all but can definitely recommend them based on friends reactions. The main reason to come are the desserts! There are a couple that they always have, chocolate trifle and chocolate cake. Those are really good. But Miss Olivia usually makes something special, and her something special is fantastic. I don't much like bread pudding, but when it is made with croissants and caramel sauce, it is out of this world. Let's not even talk about her cheesecake or pecan pie. Oh, and on Fridays they have Fried Catfish. Yum! Try everything, you can't go wrong here. They aren't open on weekends or for dinner, what a shame.. Another thing I really like, is that you get quality and not quantity here. Don't expect to take home a doggie bag, you'll eat every bite and come away pleasantly full and not too bad stuffed.

Miss Olivia is such a sweet, kind and nice woman! I had heard about her place and wanted to try it. I went there right a 11am when she opens and I had the Roast beef and cheddar sandwich. It was really good! Homemade potato chips are crispy and NOT greasy!

Honestly, I don't want to tell anybody this lovely place. I really like this small family atmosphere restaurant. It reminds me of good cafe cultures in Japan or in Australia, and I realize how I can be relaxed in the comfortable cafe. It's open until 3:00, and various kinds of lunch set are available. What I recommend to drink is Summer Tea, which tastes like a mix of soda and black tea. It is not too sweet and not to plain and refreshes me so much. The interior looks cute and warm with plenty of natural brightness. The owner, friendly Miss Olivia has defenitely good taste. She is so kind that she gave me the recipe of summer tea. Normaly people don't do that. This is one of my favorite cafes beside from Sweet Cerebration and Starbucks, here in Maryville.
