Miss Olivia’s Table

Chicken salad was really good, homemade potato chips were yummy, but best of all was the chocolate trifle for dessert! They also make strawberry trifle. Great little place for lunch. I definitely recommend it.
Everything about this experience was great. The staff was very friendly and the reuben with homemade potato chips was exceptional. I highly recommend this place. To be honest the only reason I signed up for yelp was to post this review
It is not fancy but just like having lunch at your Grandma's house. Summer tea is a refreshing treat and the homemade chips are addicting. I was not a fan of the chicken salad with relish but the homemade potato soup was yummy. The best thing is Miss Olivia, she told us her goal is to be the next best cooking to your mom's. Step back in time and enjoy a home cooked meal.

I absolutely love this place. It's by far the best place to eat in Maryville, and honestly, it's better than anywhere I've been in Knoxville. There is an actual chef, so feel free to order off menu; they will come up with something amazing. Every time I have gone, I've requested an off- menu vegan entree and each time they have delivered wonderfully! They also have a great wine selection, but the red-headed bartender is an absolute gem at what he does, so I vote cocktail all the way at this place. I can give him an ingredient I'm interested in, and he'll whip up something amazing. Ingredients I've given him before: basil, ginger, lemon.... He used fresh ingredients each time and his own simple syrups. The drinks are just as delicious as the food.
My new favorite. The meal was simply fantastic. I ordered pork shoulder and not only could I cut it with my fork, it was perfectly seasoned. My wife loved her cobia. On top of that the service was great and the carrot cake was to die for. We will be back!
This is 100% one of my top 5 restaurants in the area. It's so unbelievably delicious. They do such a a great job. Wait staff is always attentive and sweet. The amouse bouche's that are presented are awesome. And, the menu changes semi often. Honestly, I wish they changed the menu a little more often, but no huge biggie. Everything they cook is perfect, and that's all that matters. One critique --- there is now a $20 corkage fee which a little like extortion. 20 bucks!!?? The little to no corkage fee was always a huge plus for me, but I'll try and adjust.............

Dragon Pitt Inn & BBQ

Reviews:
Run by a gracious proprietor, this is THE perfect overnight spot for your Dragon run. Delicious food, very nice new rooms and bathrooms, and only 22 miles from the Tree Of Shame. Thanks for taking care of us!
We happened upon this place on the way to the Dragon coming from Tellico Plans. It was early morning so after riding up and down a few times, we headed back for lunch, one of the best feeds of BBQ I've ever had. It's a simple joint, great food though, really enjoyed it. Didn't look into the rooms as we rent a place in Tellico Plains, but all I heard was good stuff.
We recently took a road trip through the tail down to Florida. We wanted to stay at this hotel and we called to make a reservation. We got into Robbinsville at 1030ish and we found the dragon! Unfortunately what we didn't realize is that there is no cell reception in the smoky mountains. Oops! We desperately tried to remember where the Dragon Pitt Inn was and couldn't bring up anything on our phones to make a phone call or anything! Dennis was super sweet on the phone and let us know he would turn down a bed earlier in the day when we had called. We stumbled on another hotel in the area and stopped for the night. The next morning after getting back on the road I had a missed call. Dennis had called us back to let us know he still has the bed open, figured we got lost and was just calling to let us know if we did need anything just to call. Thank-you for following up. Hospitality at it's finest. We will be seeing you the next trip we take to the Tail (shooting for this summer!) PS we chose to stay here in the first place from the great reviews!

Richy Kreme Donuts

2601 Old Knoxville Pike
Maryville, 37804
Reviews:
Pretty good, but I liked the doughnuts at Donut Time better. Too bad that place went out of business. And Krispy Kreme are the greatest doughnuts I've ever had (fresh ones, not the old stuff you get in the grocery store), so these don't compare. The Richy Kreme donuts are a little flatter in appearance, but they're pretty good. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, and I passed it twice before I finally saw it.
Best donuts in the area. They melt in your mouth and regularly sell out so get there early!
Hand made, and home made delicious donuts. On the main road but easy to miss. If you haven't wandered in here yet, you definitely need to. This place has some of the best donuts around, not to mention its been around for years. My favs are: Glazed and the chocolate glazed! Go check them out, I'm a fan! Cheers & Enjoy!

I love, love, love Pancho's. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I had lived in Maryville most of my life and this is one of my favorites places to eat (and it is jus seconds from my house BONUS). They have the BEST fajtias ever and the salsa is the really good not to hot but jus spicy enough. I have also eaten thier chicken chimichanga which are delicious too.I dont think anything on the menu is gonna be bad. The staff has always been friendly and promt even when they are packed which they are most days for lunch and dinner, (you know what they say if the park-n-lot is full then then you know it is good). You must try the margritas very tasty although I have had better but with delectable food and great staff who cares. I moved last year to Tampa and crave Pancho's I make a point to eat here before I go back. IF you LOVE mexican food then you MUST try this place out.
Ahhhh yes, Mexican food. No matter where you go, they all taste the same. They all have combo dinners where you can select your choices with rice and beans. Sound like an old record? Well it is! On the other hand, Panchos sticks out in my taste buds because the food quality is better then the others I have been to. The fresh , home made tamales melt in your mouth and the ground beef in the burritos and other classics is seasoned so well, you crave it!! Portions are perfect to fill you up without feeling "gorged". Like sweet tea? Yea, me too! The sweet tea is PERFECT! The best I have had here in the South! Sorry Granny, it is awesome! Only problem I have is the only hot sauce they have is a super hot sauce you need to ask for on the side. Maybe a bottle of hot sauce on the table would be a nice addition.
I used to come here all the time when I was little. My aunt used to work here, so my family would eat here to visit her. I haven't been in some time, but decided to take my girlfriend here for lunch. I wanted to see if it was still as good as I remembered. The service was a little slow, nothing too bad though. The food was tasty and fresh. Everything came out hot. I greatly enjoyed it. I had the chicken fajitas and my girlfriend had a burrito. I would definitely recommend the fajitas. I will be going back soon.

Pros: Sorta fast Good portions Tasty BBQ Outdoor seating Unlimited napkins Cons: Not the friendliest folks Outdoor seating Bathroom that wants to lock you in More details: I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, my partner had the brisket sandwich and we shared a 2 rib plate. The ribs were okay, not the best but not bad either. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was good, tasty and well portioned for a "small." Ringing a cow bell gets you refills but I found friendly service was lacking here. Both when I placed my order and then again when I needed a refill.
I loved everything about this place and it is great for kids, the pulled pork was perfect before any sauce, the sauce was sweet with some tang, the little sliders and beer soaked brat covered in pulled pork was delicious, the hawg dawg. Pull up a folder chair and kill some time watching the bug screen tv, play some corn hole and bring your own booze, they don't sell alcohol but you can bring whatever.
I've wanted to try this place for awhile now and I finally made my way to Maryville to give it a shot. Overall I really enjoyed it. We had the BBQ Nachos and they were great! It came with queso, sauce, pork or chicken, jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. I also had the 'Hawg Dawg' which was a hot dog with pulled pork and slaw. FANTASTIC! I'm a southern boy, so slaw dogs are kinda in my DNA. The pork certainly didn't hurt it! We also sampled the brisket sandwich and it was excellent, served on white bread with sweet pickles.....I don't know about the pickles. I know everyone has strict BBQ rules and I just can't jive with that. We also had their famous sweet tea and LORD! I like sweet tea but I was not prepared! I needed a lemon to cut the sweetness, to which my group considered heresy but....... All in all, I will definitely be back to try more menu items. This is a great little stop when you're headed toward Maryville or to Townsend. Give it a try!!!

Had a gal take our order, she was in training, did an excellent job. The order was correct and everything was done correctly. Kudos to this establishment!!!! The hamburgers were hot, done correctly with rhe right condiments on them. Tator tots were fresh and hot. Perfect. Will return here!!!
My family and I always eat at this sonic with no problems until today. There was 4 people waiting to order and when we asked the car hop if the menus were down bc we had been waiting for 5 -10 min to order. We were yelled at and said they were busy. Yet they were only 10 cars in the Sonic parking area. Obvisouly they need to get their stuff together. I am a server and 10 cars is nothing to stress about.
Service was quick and painless. Food was hot and correct. Do I need to say more?

Definitely some of the best curry you can find in Maryville. The food is always delicious. When they're busy, it's not the fastest place however. They have a wide selection of sushi options including some vegetarian/ vegan options as well as noodles, hibachis, tempura, rices, and curries. Definitely a must try for the area.
Today was my first time eating here. I met a friend here for dinner to try the place out. The food was amazing. Everything was tasty and came out hot. I got a tempura bowl and my friend ordered a noodle dish. You have to try their desserts! We tried two; the dessert kabob and the tempura cheesecake. They were both amazing. There are a few negatives though. The staff is pretty slow. It took a bit of time for us to get our food and get refills on drinks. The place itself could use a little work. It's a bit scuffed up inside (our booth was a little worn out and the walls need a bit of a cleaning). The price is a bit high as well. Though not outrageous, but high all the same. The food definitely makes up for any negatives though. I really would recommend trying it. I will be going back soon.
I regularly visit Anaba for sushi. It's a small restaurant with good service most the time. I have been there once when it took 45 minutes for our sushi order. I only order nigiri. I love their smoked salmon and yellow tail. The nigiri is made perfect usually two small bites with less rice then other sushi I have eaten. My husband loves all the spicy sushi rolls, his favorites are Pearl Harbor and the tuna fire. The other dish which is really good is the fried chicken tenders. They are made with panko crumbs and perfectly spiced!! Overall great restaurant with good prices and great sushi.

Great place. Played here with my band. They treated us very well - good Pay and food and drinks. The food was excellent, but I have to knock off a star because there was nothing green on the menu! We had Smoker Sampler platters with ribs and pulled Pork, all very delicious. They have a great variety of sandwiches and sides - the fried pickles were delicious (but the healthiest thing on the menu). Serving Coleslaw with the BBQ would inspire 5 Stars I think.
I really miss this place. All my nights out usually started or ended here when I lived in Alcoa. Drinks are cheap and the live music is usually great.
Being a maryville native I really wanted to rate this higher but just really couldn't do it. True it does have great music, that doesn't outway the smoke filled main area of the bar. I truly love a dive bar but this was too much even for me. First we were the only people there under the age of 50 and were apparently waaaaay over dressed on the account that we were not planning on going here. Then we ordered 4 beers, which took 20 minutes to get and out of the 4 glasses 2 of them were broken to the point it actually hurt to drink out of. When we said something they made it seem like it was our fault. The only fun part was sharing war stories with the old veterans around the bar. Its too bad because the balcony outback and location could make this place great. I probably won't be going back anytime soon. If you are a smoker you may love this place and more power to you.

Awesome food! Awesome environment! The prices are decent and worth it! Only problem is traffic at lunch time
Does anyone know what they put in the original Chik-Fil-A chicken sandwich that makes it so amazingly good and addictive? Is there a former disgruntled employee out there who knows the secret and wants to share? Because I'm pretty sure its either a.) heroin or b.) crack. I can honestly say that this sandwich makes my all time top 5 List of Favorite Foods.
The food is good, same as any Chick-Fil-A, but the service here is terrible. My wife and I have been twice in the last ten days and orders were slow and incorrect (fried chicken on salad instead of grilled twice). The staff seems to not care much about doing things right the first time.
