If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. We aren't familiar with this side of town, so we stopped in yesterday for lunch thinking it would be reliably mediocre, but fast. The service was so bad, we didn't leave a tip. And that's from two people who waited tables and managed restaurants for several years. Our server was slow and inattentive to the point it seemed intentional. We almost had to jump out of the seat to get his attention just so we could find out if our food was ever coming. At one point my husband remarked that it felt like we were being held hostage. No food, no service, can't leave without paying. The food was terrible, but that's to be expected at a chain restaurant. Simply awful. Avoid this place at all costs. There are literally 10 other chain restaurants within a quarter mile. Pick any one of those.

Decent experiance. I ordered a southwest salad asking only for them to leave one thing off, but when I got it they had left off several things. No big deal since they happily brought me plenty of what they left off. Would still go here again.

Well this place has gone through some major management and staff changes over the past year and a half or so. The current crew is back to the old standards which were high and are again.

I was at this restaurant the day before they received the lowest Health Department score in years! I was so bothered that I sent an e-mail to their customer service section on their website. Not an answer or response. I then wrote the President in Carrollton, TX asking what was being done about it. NOTHING... Not even a courtesy telephone call from his office or the local district manager. IF YOU WANT TO EAT AT A FILTHY RESTAURANT... THIS IS THE ONE! I WOULD NOT EAT AT ANY MIDDLE TENNESSEE FRIDAY'S!

Not bad. Not the best... But it's a major chain in Rivergate, so my expectations were low to start. However, our servers and bartenders were well-mannered folk and the atmosphere was alright. For a weekend the service was quick and satisfying.

The food and service at this store are horrible! My husband and I have tried this location a few times, and will never go back. If you are not a friend of someone that works there, you get horrible service.

We ordered our food over an hour ago, still not here! We've talked to the manager, and nothing has been offered as compensation. I'm not looking for a free meal, but 2 tables came in after us and have eaten and left! I will NEVER go to another Friday's again! Cause in here, it's always awful service! New slogan for ya!

It's gotten better than some the reviews say. Ask for allen or cary at the bar. Sometimes they are slow in service but never with the drinks at the bar. Food is almost always perfect.

My boyfriend and I recently are here for a date night. He recently got a job here, so we wanted to check it out from a customers view. We went on a Friday at dinner time, so it was pretty packed. We got seated daily quickly and got drink orders taken quickly. The food was amazing, mashed potatoes are extremely creamy and the steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Our server was very nice, he did forget out silverware which would be our only 'complaint.' Over all great experience and defiantly worth it.

The only reason that I don't give one star is due to the freak winter storm that rolled through the night before so the management thought it would be dead for a 2nd night and told half of the staff to stay home. Wrong. They were slammed. We got our drink/appetizer orders taken quickly but waited almost 30 minutes and only received 2/3 drinks. The 3rd drink came with our apps (another 20 minutes which meant that it took 40 minutes to get our apps) upon which we ordered another 3 drinks since we felt that it could take an hour to receive our 2nd round of drinks. Much later (over an hour since ordering) our meals came. It was typical of any franchise like Red Robin or Applebee's. My burger was fair. Nothing special about the flavor which is probably a good thing for chain restaurants. It was only warm when I received it so it probably sat for awhile before I received it. Our waitress was awesome as she was slammed to the gills with tables. I imagine that she would be wonderful to have serving you if they had enough staff. After we complained due to wait time, the manager explained why they were so slow to serve that night and gave us all free deserts and knocked a little off of our bill which made up for a little bit of wait time. I'll try this location again if/when we come to Nashville for another trade show.

2 weeks ago I ordered a jack Daniels burger to go when I got home the bottom of the burger was burned I called and was told I would be taken care of on my next visit.... today is my next visit. ... ordered the jack daniels ribeye steak medium/medium well I get a very thin & over well done..huhhh I can't win for loosing with this place.... but I will say that the very very first time I orders the JD burger it was really good but that's been the only time I've had s omenthing good here. I would not come back if I have to pay. I Gave a star back my replacement steak dinner turned out great.

Visited this location last night before heading to a small-venue concert. Won't make that mistake again. My friend and I seated ourselves in the bar area (the restaurant as a whole was pretty empty) and proceeded to wait about 15 minutes for the serve to greet us. We placed our drink order and perused the menu. We waited another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We placed an order for appetizers only. Nearly 30 minutes later we had to flag down a different server to check on our food because our server was across the bar sitting at a table with people, deep in conversation. The new server brought the food out, transferred the check to herself and gave us a small discount for the trouble. (Of course, that didn't help the pain of finding out one sangria was nearly $12. The drinks are not proceed on the menu.) My buns for my two tiny sliders (@ $8.00) had the texture of having been microwaved. If anyone has ever put bread in the microwave, you know it has the texture of cardboard as it cools. We began to run late, asked for the checks and had to wait again for the server to find change. Yeah.... I won't go back to that place when I have somewhere to be....

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here!!! First off, the hostess and host didn't seem to know what they were doing when we walked in the door. When the host finally figured out he needed to look at his clipboard to see what tables were available he said it would be 10 or 15 minutes, even though we could see MULTIPLE open tables. I asked "why" since the tables were open and he said they needed to be cleaned. I said, forgot it we will war in the bar since it's open seating. Finally the bar keeper came over and took our drink order. A waiter kept running back and forth and choosing who he was going to wait on, never mind that the (2 different tables) came in AFTER we did. The same bar keeper finally came back and took our order. The appetizer arrived and we still did not have silverware. We had the boneless buffalo wings which were actually good. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken salad for my meal which was decent. In a few words THE SERVICE HERE IS TERRIBLE!!! The only reason I have 1 star is because the food was pretty good overall.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but times have changed, I ordered steak and half rack of ribs, ribs were awesome, steak not so much, my steak was almost cold, warm at best and on top of that it was tough to even cut, I'm easy to please when it comes to food, but this was unacceptable, service was just ok. My girls dinner was the same way, she got the same thing. First time she ate there, she was disappointed.

No silverware was given to us until we asked. The cheese sticks were bland and flavorless. For the main coarse we received mashed potatoes that stuck to the plate and looked as like something you would get in a school cafeteria. I asked the steak medium well and got medium. The server was nice and the table was clean. Overall I did not get what I paid for. The food was comparable to Shoney's quality.

This is one of my favorite chain restaurants when you are not in the mood to really explore. We went last Friday (fitting) and although there were ppl waiting for a table, the bar was almost empty so we sat there for dinner. (I never understood why ppl hate sitting at the bar to dine, I love it!) First off, we got our drinks asap and since we are sitting right there, I felt we got special attention to our drinks. (I had the Bee Sting and if you like bourbon, this is the drink for you) I went with the bartender's favorite pick (Cajun Pasta) that choice would have never even crossed my mind as something to order, but it was Friday, it was a long week and I didn't care to make choices. It was actually pretty good, chicken and shrimp, with heat but not too much to blow me out of the water. My friend had the flat steak, which she said was one of the best steaks she's had in awhile. We had a very nice time, relaxing and fun with non stop chatting. We were in and out in about an hour. Yay!

Ate here over a year ago and swore this location off because of dirty restaurant and horrible service. We like Friday's and routinely eat at other locations. Well, we were in the area today and we decided to give this location a second chance. We were seated quickly but the restaurant still has a dirty feel to it, which was supported both times by the clientele. Anyway, we ordered and the server didn't write down our orders (either lazy or showing off). Seemed like we waited forever to get our food but we were hungry so may not have been that long. Anyway, when the food came my 4 year old's order was completely wrong. I just wish they would swallow their pride and write the order down. They were quick to get the correct order out and they let us keep the wrong order, which was nice but I still would rather have what we ordered the first time. Maybe we'll give it another shot in a year or so.

Run, run away as fast as you can. I don't have the patience to write everything I want to say but I was waiting for Gordon Ramsey to come out and shut it down. Last time visiting this place.

You'd think a 2:30 lunch would render better food and service, you would think. We sat at a table at the bar, the service was decent. The bartender was polite and friendly but did move at a snails pace. But the food. Meh. We remembered pretty quick why we don't eat here and would not have if we didn't have a gift card. The Korean beef tacos were inconsistent. There was about 2 oz. of meat TOTAL! and cucumbers on only one of the three tacos. It was mostly lettuce and sauce and the rice was HORRIBLE so I asked for sweet potato fries. They were really good but a tad too salty. My husband, Dude, ordered one of their burgers, can't remember which and I had a bite and it was forgettable. There is more but I think you get the idea. Stay away. Not that great but I didn't feel like I was going to get a disease. I guess that's good.
