What a great local restaurant! While this isn't the best barbecue I've ever had, it was really good! My mom, husband, and I stopped in for lunch. Mom had pulled pork, hubby and I split a rack of ribs and pulled pork. The meat had really good barbecue flavor but I thought it was kind of dry. They do have two sauces on the table--a sweet sauce and a vinegary hot sauce. The sides and hoe cakes were perfect accompaniments. We finished with some banana pudding, my husband's favorite dessert, and he really liked it. What I really loved about this place was the decor--welcoming and clean--and the VERY friendly service. If we lived near here this would be in our regular rotation. Be sure to check out their website for their daily specials.

Tennessee Barbeque is a local family-owned business which has excellent food. The Barbeque is great and the sweet potato fries are to die for. The desserts are made there daily and are all great, with a variety of choices. They also have burgers and catfish specials. When you arrive you are served a basket of hoe cakes to enjoy while you wait for your meal. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Menu items are reasonably priced and the restaurant, overall, has a pleasant atmosphere. Southern Hospitality Abounds!!' Their limited parking is the only downside.

Family owned BBQ with consistency and style. Not the best barbecue I've had, but very good, and most importantly, it's always good. Never had an off night in my experience. Staff and servers a VERY friendly and helpful, and they make a genuine effort to recall every customer. Who does that these days? Food is simple, but also simply good! I love the barbaque chicken as much as the pork and ribs. Juicy inside, crisp skin outside, and served with your choice of sauces. The fried pickles here are among the best ever, and the fruited tea is a joy!

Stopped in on a road trip through TN. Service was excellent, food was good and price is average. Staff was very friendly. Our group of 7 enjoyed the fried pickles, steak, chicken strips, catfish and brisket. Would recommend.

This is our third year of dropping into this phenomenal restaurant. Not only is the barbecue pork fantastic, so is everything else. We took an order of hush puppies to go. They have a huge selection of homemade desserts. And the place is so friendly and kind! This is one of those wonderful family owned restaurants that are so rare in the cloned world of Applebee's and Olive Gardens where everything is processed and heated up with microwave magic :(. If you're within 50 miles, go to Tennessee Barbeque in Livingston!!

arrived in early evening, there was a table with several (5) people already served and eating. We got our drinks quickly...but the waitress obviously was friends with the group of five and we had to ask her twice to complete our order. she was more interested in the other table ... the food was OK but if you aren't family or friends you will have to wait.
