Quite simply one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten. stopped in Knoxville on the way to somewhere else and discovered this gem. Quick, not expensive, friendly delivery and delicious. Apple crisp was very tasty too.

I don't know much about the suburban Knoxville area but on my drive in, I saw mostly chain restaurants. Even my friend chimed in and said one of their best pizza places was Mellow Mushroom. Now I have nothing against Mellow Mushroom, but it's great to be able to find little gems like Sergeant Pepperoni's when most of its competitors are chains, especially if it blows the chain out of the water. Aside from pizza, Sergeant Pepperoni's also serves calzones, sandwiches, wings, alike. Not to mention, beer on tap! What goes better with pizza than beer?! They also have some great deals during the week. Unfortunately, we caught them the one day that they were running any promotions. We ordered a 16in Pop-eye for the table -- bacon, spinach, garlic, tomato, and pepperoni. Definitely liked the added crunch from the bacon crumbles, and you can never go wrong with spinach. Ample amount of cheese and sauce, and it was still good the next day. I was sad to see such a small crowd on a Friday and hope that they can get more publicity in the area.

Another win. I love this place. I always sneak in for lunch before a "dollar" movie. My friend and I went today and I remembered to take pics so I can share the love. Most salad and sandwich options at pizza places are lame but they excel at it here. I had the chicken Caesar salad Sammy and my friend had the Worlds Fair. The chicken cheese is piled with chicken and romaine, and tossed in am excellent special dressing. Loaded with chicken and Parmesan cheese. The sargies roll is the way to go; you need a big piece of bread to soak up the sauce. ALWAYS get BBQ chips. Even if you don't like them. Trust me. It's a very top secret recipe. My friends Sammy the Worlds Fair was Loaded down with ham, turkey and bacon. Needless to say he was a BBQ chip convert after I told him. The staff is always super friendly and let us go ahead and ring up since we were on our lunch break but that didn't stop her from constantly checking on us!

Stopped in while travelling. Had a topless (cheese only for kids) and the meatza with bacon. Sweetwater IPA ON tap. Service was good and swift with only two waitresses and we got the last open table in the place. Table sat four, we had six. Did I mention this place was cozy.

Delicious pizza at a great price. Location is next to a movie theater in a strip mall. Very quant with just a half a dozen booths a few tables and the bar. Very friendly wait staff and food cooked to order in a timely manner. It was a welcomed treat having just had a nasty Dominos pizza the week before. Would definitely recommend as I will be stopping back in on my next trip to Knoxville.

I am from out of town, I called and was put on hold (the phone was still live and put on the table), after 5 minutes of listening to people talk I called back only to be told I was calling the wrong location. The hostess kept cutting me off, I asked "can you give me a second?" She replied yes, then said "actually I don't have a second" so I hung up.

Perfect for travelers in the area. Saw this was a second or third type location from the original and the reviews on the original were very favorable. We were at a suite hotel very close nearby so I came by for some to-go food and everything went great. After ordering a couple side salads, baked wings (excellent!), and small pizza I enjoyed a couple beers at the small bar and after taking the order back to the hotel and enjoying dinner our family said we will recommend Sgt. Pepperonis to any of our friends passing through Knoxville. Thanks again!!

Went to lunch with my hubby here today. It was the first time either of us had tried it and we both enjoyed it. We ordered a sausage and garlic pizza. The crust was not too thin and not to thick with a buttery taste. I enjoy a thin layer of sauce and lots of cheese and this pizza delivered on that. My only complaint was that it was pretty greasy so it required a lot of napkin dabbing. Our server was good about refilling our drinks and our food didn't take long to arrive. All in all a good experience so we will definitely be back.

Everything I have tried here has been absolutely amazing! And the service is always great. My girlfriend and I come here at least twice a week just because no matter what we order it always tastes great. My new new favorite restaurant.

This is our favorite pizza place in Knoxville. The food is great, the service is great, and it has never been crowded. They also deliver within 5 miles and we take advantage of that service as well. If somebody in your group doesn't want pizza, they have very good salads and sandwiches to choose from.

Awesome pizza! Also, you cannot beat the $2 beer special on Saturday!!!!!! All beers! Draft or bottle! When I saw that, my head literally exploded. I am writing this review with an exploded head.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
