I had been here a few times and was never really blown away. I came here with my family for my birthday and it was most of their first times here. First thing I noticed when I sat down was the ceiling fan directly above our table that was covered in at least an inch of disgusting dust. We ordered wings, pizza, and beer to share. Our server, Chris, was quick and attentive. When our food arrived, the fans had been turned on. All I could think about was the disgusting smokey dust falling on my plate. Pizza tasted like charcoal. The bottom was solid black! Chris came to the rescue and fixed the problem immediately. The wings were OK and the beer tasted flat. I will be back but won't be eating until the place looks a bit more sanitary.

I went to Rooster's with a friend and my mom. They have a large selection of alcoholic beverages as well as non-alcoholic beverages. There are pool tables, lots of seating, and TVs everywhere! The food was really good and I recommend the chicken tenders and fries. Yummy! I also ordered the Margarita and the Jamaican starburst which both were amazing! My waiter however was rude. However he was quick with our order and checked on us often so that kind of made up for it. When I got home I smelled like smoke. In Rooster's you can smoke and there is no non-smoking area. So if you having problems with breathing, I would not recommend Rooster's. There was so much smoke I ended up having a problem with my breathing and had to leave, I did not know about the smoking until I was actually there. I did have fun though. 3/5

Food is ok but the service is the worst. It's like they don't give a sh** and you're bothering them by being there. No thanks.

It is the worst place I've been. I can't believe I've been here. Good luck.

Great pizza and wings! Don't forget your ID or they will make you leave! $1 tacos on Thursdays!!

False advertising. The website clearly states "professional Billiard Tables" indicating a) 9-foots (which are "professional") and b) more than one, while the truth is quite the contrary. There is ONE 7-foot bar-box. It is a Diamond, but does not have the Diamond competition blue cloth.

Good place and great size, however could become classified as great if it wasn't a smoke pit. Yuk. I would come here more often if it was non smoking. Don't care much for cancer, myself.

Lots of seating, TVs, pool tables, some games. It's a sports bar and HEADS UP: there's smoking inside. The food is pretty decent for bar food- I'd recommend the wings and nachos. You're not here for beef wellington. Typical beer selection. It's pretty packed on most days as a lot of locals like to hit this place up.

Split smoking and non smoking which is fair for everyone. We are non smokers but smoking is a legal activity and if you only allow adults I see nothing wrong with it. You don't have to go in or you can leave. Both times we have been there the service was excellent. The food is just so so.The pretzel breadsticks were rubbery and the caesar wrap was just ok.

Just a bit smokey for my taste. For a local pub that you want to smoke inside than this is the place for you.

Perfect place to watch some UT football or any game. Inside there are two bars and lots of TVs. The standard pool and games are around too. You can smoke inside, so I prefer the patio where the TVs are just as ample, and the air is better. I tried to the wings and was underwhelmed, but I'm more than happy to go back and try something else.

It's a smoke pit so beware. The drinks are okay. This is the place people go to hang out after they graduate college. There are plenty of ex sorority girls and frat daddy's here. They have quarters potatoes that are deep-fried much like a french fry. I would call them potato babies and they are awesome. This is definitely a neighborhood bar, check it out.

This used to be a great neighborhood bar and have spent a lot of money and time here. However, it has really went downhill for all the wrong reasons. The Food: The appetizers, wings and pizza are good here but stay away from the burgers and sandwiches. They are all bun and very dry. The Booze: They know how to make a stiff drink here and they have iced buckets of beer at a reasonable price. The atmosphere: It's a good spot to watch the game and there is no shortage of TV's. The new outdoor patio is nice and they have a bar out there to serve you so you don't have to go inside. Thumbs Up. The Service: It's really inconsistent. Most of the people that work here are very unpleasant for some reason. I assure you at some point you will be ignored. Not all servers are like that but most are. Clientele: The reviewer that said there are plenty of post-college frat/sorority boys and girls here was spot on. If you ever wondered how much douche you could fit in one bag or you are feeling nostalgic for your old flipped up collar frat buddies this is your place. Allow me to summarize the 2 star rating, Petty and childish behavior: The folks of roosters (and I guess the strip mall management) are obviously very bitter about the Tin Roof location that opened across the street and will not hesitate for a second to tow your car if they think you parked in their parking lot and went over there. No Joke. Yes, its that pathetic. The last time I was @ Roosters there was a guy making a huge scene because they towed his car and he was in Roosters. They get 2 stars for not playing well with their neighbors. Good bar but the owners need to grow up.

Great wings. I like that you can smoke inside. The service is very good. They have food and drink specials. They have lots of seating, and pool tables and video games (like Golden Tee!). Some of the tables have their own little TVs. Its a great little neighborhood restaurant and bar.

We've been going to Rooster's for many years and I have to say, I had the worst experience this past Sunday. I took my sis/bro in law there(out of towners) and was raving about all their food and it was good and large proportions. So, we ordered the nachos with ground beef. Took about 20min and our server wasn't the one who brought them out-some other person did. We look at those and thought it was a joke. They were no bigger than nachos you'd order at Taco Bell. And the worst part-there was no cheese and the ONLY ground beef was a small tiny chunk of an old hamburger. I was appalled. Our server finally came over about 15min afterwards and we showed her the only piece of ground beef. She apologized and said she'd get us ground beef. (NORMALLY, you would think they would remake them!) 15more minutes and our ground beef comes out. By now, we are OVER the service and the food. My check comes and they charged me $2.00 extra for my ground beef that wasn't even on the nachos to begin with! I was furious. I think this is lack of customer service and the food portions are a joke. I will think twice before going there for anything more than drinks.

don't be surprised if after 5 beers you yell something like, "HOOTEN' NANNY!" and wake up next to a guy named billy with a bald-eagle tattooed on his butt-cheek. all i'm sayin. i miss you roosters.

I love this place despite the smokieness! Great bartenders! Great food! Their fries are the best. Their pizza is great! All of the sandwiches and the wings are great!

Can get smokey, but if you like tobacco and beer you'll fit right in. I like to go on Sundays to catch a game and eat some sinfully good bar food. Drink prices are reasonable, nothing to brag about, but its one of the better sports bars in Knoxville.
