A great hot dog with a variety of toppings and sauces, sides and desserts--what more could you want? Maybe not every meal, but it's a fun place to go, and it's not expensive. The owners are friendly, too. I plan to go again! It's located in Solway on the south side of the road, right side as you head towards Knoxville.

Best. Hot dog. Ever. Seriously, these are great hot dogs! I would highly recommend the chili slaw onion dog. The place is super clean and the service is outstanding. Definitely a "can't-miss" in Knoxville!!!

Amazing place! In from out of town and stopped by for dinner with the family. The dogs are AMAZING! I would have posted a few pictures, but we were too busy devouring our dinner. The toasted buns are perfect and pair well with a huge list of homemade toppings. The homemade slaw stole to show and went well with the family chili recipe and fresh onion on my dog. Will absolutely be back next time I'm in town.

Spectacular hot dogs. Like everyone else commented, the toasted buns are to die for. Small menu but they do it extremely well. If you are looking for ambiance and a relaxing, leisurely meal, you may have chosen incorrectly. If you are looking for an awesome hot dog and owners who delight in serving great hot dogs, you are in the right place. We will definitely return when we have a hankering for a great hot dog

This place is AWESOME. Stopped in with the family to get a quick lunch. The two owners were very accommodating and sweet, and the hotdogs were amazing. 100% beef dogs, great variety of quality toppings, and toasted buns to put the icing on the cake! I'll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Knoxville!

Read the review in the News Sentinel yesterday & knew we had to go for dogs. The place is great! Buns are toasted (always a plus), slaw & beans are both awesome. Reasonable prices and you can have your dog about any way you want it. They also have other sandwiches if you're not in a dog mood. And the ice cream's also a treat. Friendly staff. If you're watching traffic so you're not run over you might miss it; just west of the Oak Ridge Hwy merger before getting into downtown Solway, beside the Shell station in a strip center. If you're headed toward Oak Ridge you'll have to go just past it & double back. It WILL be worth your drive. Closed on Sundays.

Food was good. The hot bun was small but I like it being sliced from the top therefore fillings stay on. Chili was good and not to spicy. Will try again for ice cream.

I know we are talking hot dogs but, this place absolutely has THE best dogs anywhere in the area. You have to try the chili, slaw, onion dog.

Took the crew to lunch upon a solid recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The crew tried a good smattering of the menu, and most of the utterances were things like "oh god" and "holy crap". The employees were super friendly, and there was something scrumptious for every palate. Some of our people had the potato salad, and the baked beans as well, and all met with high marks. I tried the Cuban and the signature D&B which was their take on the classic Chicago dog minus the neon relish and poppy seed bun. The D&B was my hands down favorite, and this will be a regular stop in the lunch rotation!

Without a doubt the best hot dog I've ever had. The hot dog buns are toasted like Texas toast and all of the ingredients are fresh and the best quality. The restaurant is very clean and the people that work there are very nice. I have had the D&B hot dog and the chili and slaw hot dog both were excellent . You will not be disappointed.

Best hot dog in Knoxville! Actually, they may have the best hot dog anywhere. The Chicago style dog was really good, the kraut dog was excellent, and the chili cheese dog is the best I've ever had. These dogs come loaded with toppings on a fresh and perfectly toasted split top bun. The sides are good also. We tried the baked beans and potato salad. Both were just how I like them. This is my first time here, but it won't be my last!

This place serves some amazing dogs! I really liked the variety of what you could put on each, and the price is fantastic. If you're ever close by, this is a must stop location. The regular basic hot dog is just as good as the specialties. The bread they use instead of a bun is really tasty and is what makes them above their competitors.

The "Hawt Dawg" is awesome. I wasn't too sure about sour cream on a hot dog, but it was really good! The grilled bun was also amazing, different and better than any bun I've ever had. Just be careful pulling in during rush hour.

I'm gonna give this place a 5 because my experience was great! It is very clean inside and quaint. I enjoyed the hot dog I had (build your own)... the buns are grilled and VERY good! I could have just had the bun with chili LOL.... the hotdogs are all beef and delish. I don't want hotdogs for every meal, but this place is good :)

Absolutely the BEST hot dog I have ever had! The chili/slaw/onion dog is to die for and the Reuben dog is excellent as well. Stopped in after reading these reviews and now go by at least once a week!

These dogs are legit. Big time. Let's put this place on the map people!! If you haven't tried their dogs yet, bookmark D&B's now and taste for yourself. I stopped in for the classic D&B dog and it was absolutely delicious. Nom nom nom. The dogs are 100% beef and you can certainly taste the difference. And they make it just right. Not too many toppings...not too little. And oh my goodness..the toasted buns are the best part! How good can toasted buns be? I'm telling you...they're the best I've had. My perfectly assembled ice cream sundae was great too and the prices are very reasonable. I came in on a weeknight and D&Bs had a steady stream of loyal customers. That says so much. It's the kind of hangout spot all your family and friends flock to for a great time. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's hard to believe Daniel and Bruce have only been in business since November 2014. What a fun story that finally opened their dream dog shop and ice cream parlor. They are really involved in the community and have a great following. And I don't know how they keep their restaurant so spic and span?! Kudos on the spotless-ness. That itself is star-worthy. I mean...dogs can be a messy business. Dogs are great. Ice cream is great. Service is great. I'm coming in again asap and trying the Elvis Pocket. Trust me. You and all the friends you introduce to D&Bs will thank me.
