One of the best BBQ meals you'll get in Knoxville. Perhaps not the finest of dining experiences--plastic and paper towels. But, for the flavor and price, Buddy's simply can't be beat. And, heck -fire, what kinda person cares about remaining beautiful throughout the process of getting down to some serious ribs eatin'?!? I mean seriously!!!

I have eaten at many Buddys BBQ locations and while none were bad, this one is great. The food is always perfect but the 5 stars comes from the service. To many places today lack service and this Buddys location knows how to do it right. Super friendly and make you feel welcome and taken care of.

This is the best Bar B Q I have ever had! They cook it slow so you can get it fast! They have a great deal on saturday, ayce ribs for 9.99 your practically stealing from them. If you are going to a tailgate they have a great box deal which is sure to be a big hit! I cant say enough good things about this place it is so awesome!

Excellent service and the young man at the counter was very polite. The BBQ pork dinner was tasty and moist, generous amount of hush puppies, good baked beans, and cole slaw. Environment was clean and welcoming. I want to come back and try the warm and rich hot fudge cake!

It's very good, homemade and so cheap. I used to work here, so I know their food and standards and cleanliness. I highly recommend this place. Especially if one had a big family, it would be very economical to eat out here.

LOVE their BBQ sauce. It the perfect combination of sweet, tangy and spicy. The pork is moist and tender. The brisket is sliced thinly and amazing. Side dishes are pretty good, but this where the lack of 5th star originates. Coleslaw is fabulous, as are the green beans. The hush puppies? Eh. I've had better. Overall Buddy's is a great bbq bang for your buck. Convenient drive through option as well makes for an easy, drive-by bbq stop when you're in a hurry and want more than just a plain-ole-burger.

My school hosted an event and ordered from here and their catering is quite impressive. They served burgers with the usual condiments: tomato slices, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard and potato salad, hot dog, 2 options of chips: ruffles or original, cookies, sweetened and unsweetened tea, lemonade and veggie burgers. I only had the veggie burger and I wasn't expecting anything great since it was just a boca burger but it was so good! It's easy to tell when food is truly grilled! No, not by the grilled marks. I took a bite and I was so happy to have such a good veggie patty! I was also impressed by how warm the patty still was since it was all alone in a tray behind the drinks. Good stuff!

It's a typical fast-food BBQ joint. Nothing special, but not bad. Their ribs are precut and not really tender; however, they were tasty. There were 4 of them for $8.99 with 2 sides and hush puppies. The sides I ordered were coleslaw and Chunky potato salad. The sides were 2/3 of the plate and average. My husband had their 1/2 BBQ chicken with Corn on the Cob and Beans. The chicken was good, but nothing special. It also came with hush puppies. Their hush puppies; however, were very gritty on the outside, separated from the inside ball of dough and not very tasty. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. The toilet in the bathroom was broken. When you sat down, the toilet rocked and felt very insecure. Not good. With so many BBQ places in town, I don't think that I'd return here to get a great BBQ meal.

I've been to Buddy's a few times and I'm pleasantly surprised. For a fast-food BBQ place, they have their act together. The pork and chicken are always tender, juicy and flavorful. The sides are very good as well, and the hushpuppies included with almost everything aren't bad. I'm not much of a fan of cole-slaw, but Buddy's slaw is actually pretty tasty, and their BBQ beans were really good. While I still prefer a sit-down joint like Calhoun's or Dead End BBQ, I recommend Buddy's if you want BBQ and are on a budget, or you're up for some decent BBQ and short on time.

Pulled pork sandwich was very delicious!! Baked beans were ok and the corn on the cob was terrible. Not much else to say, got it to go. Cashier was friendly.

This would not have been my first choice for dinner, but since I was working close by on a project, this was the quickest/easiest place for our group to go grab a bite. Since I do not eat Pork or Beef, I am always nervous going into a Barbeque joint, but they had pretty good bbq chicken and an ok selection of side items. We went to dinner a little early since we would be going back to our client site to resume working on the project until late night. The service was pretty fast and quite friendly. While BBQ isn't my very favorite thing in the world, the food was a-ok and I would eat here again.

Good food at a pretty good price. I chose all you can eat ribs. I asked at the checkout, how I was supposed to get more. I was told someone would be by my table to ask if I wanted more or I could go to the register and ask for more. I finished my first plate of ribs plus wonderful sides of potato salad and baked beans. I then thru away my trash and went to the register for a refill on tea and to ask for more ribs. The cashier said to ask the wondering lobby person for more. I then set down and waited. The lobby employee came by with a basket and wondered what I had done with my plate. I explained that I thru it away with my trash and that no one told me that I needed to keep my plate as part of this process. She then walked away apparently confused and walked over to the register and asked for a plate. I could hear the cashier saying "He threw his plate away?" Like I had committed a sin. Anyway, I was going to get dessert- but after that weird vibe forget it. Buddy's BBQ is usually a seamless delicious experience. Not this time...
