I ordered take-out, had a coupon, no problems with transaction, minimal wait time. My cedar plank salmon was DELICIOUS! A little overseasoned on a few parts, but overall very good. I was impressed and will be going back for more. I highly recommend this menu item!

I was part of a large party (nine adults, 4 kids) eating here after a graduation on a Saturday. Two of us ordered prime rib, mine was inedible due to its saltiness. I had poured the "aus jus" concoction onto the meat - maybe that was the problem, but it was inedible and sent back. Received a "rib eye" steak (questionable on that one too - didn't have the right shape) that was terribly undercooked, and I like medium rare. The other member of our party didn't have any trouble with her prime rib. She and I also shared an order of the fried pickle chips. Well, let me tell you about the uncontrollable explosive bowel issues that started about 6 hours later! I have to attribute it to the fried pickle chips that she and I had (there was a second order of these at the other end of the table - didn't seem to poison them, though) because she also was sickened. This place is better avoided until it is ultimately shut down by the health department, because they probably will be.

Please, just don't go. Unless you want a heart attack. Or really like bad service. We tried to eat here for lunch, but left without an appetite. Out of the 4 of us, we had one vegetarian (me), and one gluten-free dairy-free diner. The menu ended up being a minefield to navigator, with no help from the waitress. When I asked her what she would recommend for a veggie option, her reply was, "Well, we really don't have anything healthy. Sorry." I opted for the salad (minus the chicken and bacon). Our gluten-free friend ordered the chicken entree (minus the cheese). We decided on hush puppies for an appetizer, and while looking up nutrition information to see if gluten-free could eat them (she couldn't), we found out that about half the entrees at this restaurant have MSG in them. MSG?! I thought only low-class Chinese restaurants still used that stuff?? Needless to say, not many of those hush puppies got eaten. When the food did come, the salad came with bacon and the chicken came with cheese. Surprise! It took a hearty 10 minutes for the new food to come out, which was just ok when it did. We happened to be there for free pie day (free slice of pie with any purchase). I opted for the peach pie, which had weird sugar crystals on top that kept getting stuck in my teeth. Seriously, just avoid the place.

Terrible service. We did not order appetizers. Just a hamburger. Folks came in after us and got their meals before us. When we finally got our food they said it was because they were waiting on the fries. Should have known to keep going when there were not many cars in the lot. Took us two hours for a hamburger. My first and last time to visit this restaurant.

O'Charleys has made some MAJOR corporate changes. I'm a little unhappy with many of them. They are updating the decor in many locations. I'm ok with it. It's fine, not great. The first sign of trouble...THEY CHANGED THE ROLLS! The yeast rolls are gone replaced with a very average (appeared to be frozen) dinner roll. The menu is pretty similar to what it always was. We were in for lunch at about 1pm and the place was totally empty. I had a combo of Southern Chicken tacos and their famous potato soup. The tacos were pretty good honestly. The salsa that came with it was also good. I had exactly seven (7) tortilla chips though...portion control or just cheap? The potato soup appeared to use uncooked French fries in the recipe now. The texture was mushy and the soup was salty. Shocked when I got my bill to see that I'd been charged $2.50 for sweet tea. I tipped well because the server did an excellent job. She doesn't make corporate menu choices, but I hope someone who does sees this review. I'd love to see some tweaks and I'll give you another shot.

The table was clean looking but so tacky/sticky that your skin or anything else would stick to it. The waitress was polite and decent at her job. The bar used to have a varied selection of beers, but now they seem to only have the same old tired ass versions of amber beers, just how many different brands of the SAME beer type does a bar need? The only dark beer they even had was Guiness in a bottle! I prefer a better beer selection than they have now... Now to the food, the lettuce in the salads was brown and limp, looks like it had been sitting out a while. The enire salad looked like it came from McDonalds... Fast food quality at best! The steak and potatoe that my wife had were fine and she had no complaints. My fish and fries were horid... the fish had been left in the deep fryer way to long and was so crunchy you could barely chew it which made the fish way over cooked. The Fries were undercooked and greesy/soggy. The tartar sauce could best be described as dill pickle reslih and ranch dressing. totally nasty, the entire dish was terrible! Even the Rolls looked like they had been stepped on back in the kitchen!!! It will be quite a while before we return to this place.

Arrived 11:30, departed (did not die) 12:15 P.M. Decided on a booth instead of a table. Good thing I had lost some weight recently. You have to step up and step down to enter and exit the booth. Very small area. Ordered teriyaki sesame chicken with green and red peppers and rice. Large plate, ample portion. A little to much teriyaki for my taste but not bad. Comes with a house salad and a free dessert. I had the brownie with ice creme and carmel syrup. Salad was ok nothing special but brownie was best part of the meal. Free drink refills. Good service (Donna) quick on the extra bread and drink refills. No smoking you criminal! It got to only half full by the time I left. Plenty of parking. Music to loud. Bar available. Cost: $10.49 for the chicken and $2.29 for the salad. I am going back in a week to see if my opinion changes.
