First up - the BBQ sandwich. Best I've had. Got the regular size and it was huge. Meant to eat only half but couldn't stop eating it. Second - the sides. All 3 were great, coleslaw, beans and potato salad. Especially good was the beans! Spicy in just the right way. Saw others reviews on Yelp and decided to stop on our way from Nashville to Memphis. Glad we did!

So we elected to skip Memphis BBQ for Jackson's fare and we were not disappointed. The service was really fast and friendly. My wife and I each had a rib plate (one spicy and one sweet) and both were excellent. The rib meat was tender, juicy and well balanced by the sauces. The cole slaw (on the sweet side) was good, but the beans and potato salad really stood out. As indicated by others, the portions were sizable and made for a full meal. Dining by the road at one of the picnic tables was rather unique. A nice change of pace from loud restaurants. We would highly recommend this stop if passing by on I-40, especially if you are in a big rig or RV - due to the ample truck parking. Might even be worth a bit of road trip.

Stopped here for breakfast riding my Road Glide back from NY to CO. The sausage/egg and cheese biscuit was great. Very friendly staff and super fast service.

Very good BBQ! As soon as you take the turn it's right there on your right - if you go to fast you may miss it. Excellent fast service !! They have a sweet and spicy sauce. I prefer the sweet... A must try!! Worth the stop.

Next to the BP right off the interstate- great if you are passing through. I drove into Jackson to try Mac's but they were closed. Next door at Art's bar the bartender Lola said I should try her cousin's place, Exit 87 BBQ. Thanks Lola! I got the jumbo pork sandwich with slaw on it- great 'cue!

It was ok, very friendly and helpful staff. Huge potion size for your money. Meat was moist but lack favor.

Omg. My husband drives a truck and suggested we stop by here for breakfast while on the road. I admit I questioned his decision for breakfast at a BBQ food trailor/truck. I. Was. Wrong. We both ordered a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Just freaking wow. The sausage was the size of a hamburger patty and super tasty. The egg was perfect and cheese was melted nicely on the toasted hamburger bun. I would snap a picture but yeah it's too late for all that. I hear the BBQ is just as wonderful. There is no indoor seating but there are 5 picnic tables for outdoor dining when weather permits. Oh...and there is a pig with a wig, shades, and panties. Go snap a picture. Plenty if parking if you drive a semi. The only reason to pass up a Hardee's breakfast. (There is a Hardee's across the street). Go on now. Pick up some food. You will be glad you did.

Stuck in the middle of nowhere Tennessee this the little truck stop gem made my day. Had a spicy jumbo bbq sandwich with slaw. Delicious. It is a simple, unpretentious, side of the road hole in the wall. If you are ever driving by, stop by and get a picture with the wig/sunglasses wearing cement pig.

We got the ribs! Great! Stop and try this spot. Love the character and service wonderful and pleasant We got mild sauce, I should of asked for sauce on the side so I could Savour the flavor of ribs more and dip sauce amount to my liking. Beans were our favorite side. Cole slaw creamy, my preference is more texture. Potato salad good too, but again my taste, I like a simple potato salad. I'd stop again and try the pulled pork next!

This place is simple and yet so good! I showed up early in the morning and got a sausage, egg & cheese on the toasted bun and was by far one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've eaten. I also got a jumbo pulled pork sandwich and it was one of the best I've eaten to date. Friendly girl working the truck and was helpful with my questions. Don't stop by thinking it's a five star building because it's not and it doesn't need to be. It's down to business. A lot of semi drivers in and out as it has a big lot to park in. I'll be back for sure!

Passed by here as I was driving across the country from Cali to DC. The family that runs the business are really nice, but that's just how tennesseans are.. Always super nice ! I got the BBQ Bologna was super good! Definitely worth a stop if you're on your way to Nashville from Memphis or the other way around

Stopped here as we were driving cross country. Took advice of other reviews and definitely worth the stop. Had the bbq pulled pork platter. There was enough pork to have made 2 sandwiches. Potato salad and beans were very good too. Definitely would recommend.

This little bbq trailer off the highway was an excellent stop on our road trip. Good bbq for the affordable price. The guy even hooked up our dogs with a ton of good meat, free of charge.

I had the plate with 1/3 ribs and two sides for $9.50 and felt the portion size was good. I chose the spicy (vs sweet) sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this stand which also has 5x picnic tables if you want to hang out and eat outside.

Wife and I stopped here to try the food because other truck drivers told us the food was excellent. They were correct. Tender meat, the kind that melts in your mouth. They take orders over the CB so it's ready when you arrive. Truck parking. Opens at 6am. It closes when the food is all gone so come early. Across the street from the Loves truck stop

Awesome BBQ, had the rib plate, and BBQ sandwich. The meat on the ribs fell rite off the bones. Will definitely be stopping again.

Of BBQ in Jackson, this is the best I've had. The meat and sauce quality is very good. Only not giving a five star because the hours are too unpredictable and I'm partial to vinegar based sauces like seen in Western Kentucky style BBQ.

Great food, friendly service, generous portions. Amazing coleslaw- well worth the stop. On a recent road trip from Texas to Tennessee, we were looking for something to eat. Exit 87 BBQ hit the spot and then some. We had a rib sandwich and a BBQ plate, both of which had very generous portions of meat and the spicy sauce was delicious. The service was friendly and the prices were great. Not much seating, we ate on the back of the car. As we were leaving, I think we ran into one of the owners and he asked us to spread the word. If you're in the area and looking for something to eat right off the highway, with fast, friendly service this is the place to stop. As a matter of fact, when we were on the way back I stopped in again.

We agree with the reviews... Great BBQ at a great price, is access to the freeway, no lines or wait. The ribs were nice tender smoked to perfection. There was no need for sauce. The potato salad was delicious. Pulled pork was great. It's right across from Loves travel center. We go gasoline and BBQ and the continued our travel. The truckers were right about this place.
