My husband and I have went to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday for years. Never been disappointed. The waitstaff is first rate. The cooks are superb. The owner knows us by name and always greets us when he is available. The food is amazing time after time and sometimes we will go there (2-3) times a week! The other Japanese restaurants cannot compare to this jewel that we have in Hixson. If you have never tried the shrimp or vegetable tempura, you should try it. After going there all these years, I finally tried it a few weeks back. It was so delicious.

I've been here probably 200 times in the past 20 years. The food is always amazing. The chefs are always amusing. The price is decent. The sushi is wonderful. My only complaint is that I can't afford to just eat there every night :)

Absolutely ruined our night. Called and made reservations days in advance and showed up and offered to put us in the back of a 1 hr line, because they "couldn't find the sheet" . Will not be going back. Terrible service and organization.

This place is so good! A little pricey but they give you sooo much food for the price. Never left without feeling very full. Chefs are very funny and waitresses are super hot! What a great atmosphere and recommended date night.

There is no better hibachi cooking in town. There is Fuji, Shogun, Kampai of Tokyo, and Ichiban has the best price and quality of food. Not to mention the portion amounts are larger. Also the chefs are hilarious. Best in the area

I have been going here for years. They have the best ginger dressing for their salads and their sauces are the best. Delicious!

Love all three locations, but this one is the best. Been going there since I was old enough to drive, so we're getting close to two decades now. I can absolutely recommend Ichiban without hesitation :).

Great atmosphere and chefs. Speedy service and great portions. If you're a sushi snob, skip that part of the menu. My wasabi butter salmon was hibachi-ed to perfection!!! YUM.

Ichiban is the only hibachi style restaurant I've yet to try in Chattanooga, and I think it's awesome. I have yet to be let down, and I've tried the Hixson Pike and Hwy 153 locations. Nice atmosphere, fresh sushi, and service is formatted in a timely fashion. You won't be disappointed.
