My family has been getting food from here for over 15 years.. While my parents don't go so often anymore bc they live on the other side of town, I always try to stop by when I'm visiting home. The shrimp lo mein/fried rice combo is the b e s t and is what I put all other Chinese places up to and nothing compares. It's not heavy but the portions are big and the prices are sooo good.

Great food at affordable prices. You can usually find coupons in the local clipper magazine too. I love the soup and sesame chicken wings. They are huge! My order was only wrong one time but it was too late to the it back. We ate it anyway and it was still good.

I love china wok I always order the same thing the Singapore noodles. It's mostly a take out place, they are always fast. Great portion sizes. It's the only thing I will miss after I leave Hendersonville.

Just had it yesterday and even though my order was right, what we got was great. Amazing flavors and portion sizes at a very reasonable price. However I didn't recieve any sauces, which I really wanted when I got home! Always check your bag!

China Wok has great Chinese take-out at very reasonable prices. They have a large menu with all sorts of selections. My husband and I usually order the General Tso's combination meal which comes with a generous helping of General Tso's chicken, fried rice, an egg roll and of course a fortune cookie. Service is very fast. Typically when I call to place an order it only takes 5-10 minutes till it is ready. The restaurant has some tables inside but they're primarily just for waiting for your take-out order; dine-in seems to be discouraged.

When you combined food quality and price this might be the best Chinese place in Hendersonville. If it's not it is surely close to the top. Great service too. I've never been disappointed here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
