Today is National Cheeseburger Day! The first place that entered my mind, J&J Restaurant on Hwy 22 in Gleason. My family loves eating here. It is honestly the best cheeseburger you will ever eat. Simply delicious fresh meat, fresh trimmings, and cooked to perfection! And don't stop there, you will think your taste buds have gone for a visit in heaven when you taste the fried honeybun. Amazing! Great food with Great owners, always a winning combination.

We were driving through the area and looking for a reasonably priced, healthy choice for lunch. My traveling companion had special dietary needs which the owners were glad to help with. The home style cooking is nothing fancy, just delicious and made with fresh ingredients. My BLT on wheat bread was perfect and served with the best tater tots I've ever had. My friend's salad with grilled chicken was served with the specially requested olive oil/apple cider vinegar on the side. Stop in...I think you'll be glad you did.
