My in-laws have been here several times for their pizza, and they rave about how good it is. My wife & I finally decided to try this place. If you're not aware of how their system works - you look at the menu, order, then sit at your table & wait for your order to be called. Prior to coming in, I had always assumed it was sit at your table & order kind of place. The food: Great!. I had the pinwheels & meatball sliders as my dinner, and my wife got a calzone. Both the pinwheels & sliders were really good! My wife said the calzone was excellent, too. My mother-in-law got a house salad. The woman that took her order said the salad came with carrots & tomatoes on it. Well, the salad was some romaine lettuce (that wasn't the freshest), ONE tomato, and no carrots. Since I didn't try the pizza I can't say if it's worth the price. The prices for the pizzas are a little expensive, in my opinion. The staff: When we ordered, the woman taking our order could have been a little nicer, and the guy getting the pizzas out of the oven, bringing food out, and answering phones (manager?) definitely needs a tune-up on his people skills. While waiting to order, I could tell he either was having a bad day, or that's just how he is. I didn't see him smile once at any of the customers. He even gave the "what's up" head nod when asking a customer what he needed. After we were done eating, I went to the counter to get some to-go boxes, and I waited probably 3-4 minutes. The woman at the register was busy taking orders, but she didn't bother to say "we'll be with you in just a minute" or anything. The guy was busy checking on pizzas coming out of the oven. He did walk over to the counter to answer the phone, which was right in front of where I was standing, but he didn't even look at me. He just went right back to the oven after hanging up the phone. I was about to just sit back down, but he finally came back & asked what I needed. The food was great, but the staff could use a little work. With that being said, we'd return to eat there again.

Pizza is great but every time I come in the staff is so rude. Those ladies need to be just a little more pleasant :)

Have been a steady customer for a number of years. My wife and I shared a pizza. She had wine, I had a draft beer. I got sick she didn't. The beer came from a freshly tapped keg and tasted a little off, but I thought it was just my taste buds. I should have trusted my taste buds. About five hours after dinner I became ill and spent the rest of the evening and following day paying the price. Eat the pizza, but don't trust the draft beer.

Refused to give me and my family service because I was the third person who came in to pay with a $100 bill even though I ordered $45 worth of food. Told not asked me to pay with a credit card. Manager told cashier not to take my money because "if" they ran out, they would have to walk a few yards down and make change from another retailer. My family and I have been eating at this chain for over 10 years. You just lost our future business. Shame on you.

Great pizza and great atmosphere. Barbecue chicken pizza is fantastic and should be tried even if you're afraid of the idea. Ambiance is great and the staff is always friendly. Not 5 stars because a little bit expensive for what it is.

Service was top notch. Food was good. Prices were a bit high. I had the wings. They were good but they have some work to do on them. They were small but meaty. The only thing was they were kind of mushy. The flavor was good. My wife had the lasagna. That was very good. It looked very good and tasted as good as it looked. The cheesy breadsticks looked the best I've seen and were very tasty. The pizza was also good. 4 stars for food quality and service. -1 for prices.

Not a bad experience but I felt it was a little pricey for the type of restaurant it is. You order at the counter and are given a number. When your food is ready they call your number. The food was good but not above average. There were 4 of us eating; myself, my husband and our 2 boys. The boys got a small pizza each with a drink. My husband had spaghetti with a drink and I had the half moon which is half a small pizza with a side salad and a drink. Our total with tax was $46 and change just to give you a example of the total costs for a family.

I've eaten here a couple times, and enjoyed it very much. It is affordable and tasty. Pizza, meatball sandwich, caesar salad are all good.

This is a casual restaurant, with good food. You walk up to the counter, order, then pick up your food when your number's called once it's ready. This is helpful, as another reviewer mentioned, in that you don't need to spend additional money as a tip to any waitress. I got the ravioli, and it was delicious. The half-moon pizza doesn't specify that it's only cheese, but apparently that's what's served (found out too little too late, but it was still very good). For two meals that were both filling and tasty, still ended up spending a little over $20. But an excellent choice, and we will be back.

Food is just OK, not great but not horrible. The price in my opinion is too high for what you get, but that's to be expected because of the area it's in. All in all, OK for a quick dinner stop in from time to time but not a regular visit.

Been here twice. Once for pizza and once for pasta. Good food, the basics are covered as well as some interesting twists, i.e. baked ravioli and pizza combinations. I have not found a pizza crust I love in the area, but would come back here for family dining.

Finally tried this place, after hearing about a few awards. Really good food, I actually went twice in one day! Once for lunch, had the Turkey on Focaccia - absolutely great bread, they make it fresh. The ingredients you could tell were all fresh & tasty. Came back for dinner with the family and friends - had the pesto chicken pizza, another winner. Kids under 7 eat free, can't complain about that. Good place!

The food is good, and they have great prices. One of the few places that still has free kids meals. Plus there's no need to tip.

Painturo's is a great little casual italian & pizza joint. The pizza's are great - excellent fresh ingredients and love the thin crust. Baked confusion is my fave pasta - yum!!! Bread and cheese sticks are damn good too. They are expanding the menu, and just added wings, and they have done a good job with them. Salads are fresh and good. This is NOT a romantic restaurant - very family friendly and casual, so don't go here with the idea of romance. My only complaint is that they need to widen (like, REALLY widen) their wine selection (we're talking a selection of about 4 bottles) and get wine glasses. I know it's "traditional" for people to drink wine out of little water like glasses in Italy, but I like it not one bit! Gimme a wine glass! Anyways, this is a weekly stop for us, as the food is consistently good and the service is great as well.

Pretty good pizza, and a great atmosphere. Close to movie theatres, so it's a great dinner & a movie place.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
