I was in Fayetteville on business and looking for something that was not fast food. The options were limited, so we decided to try Cahoots. Atmosphere was average but the history of the building and the jail cells were very cool. The food was excellent. Had the prime rib and it was perfect along with the large baked potato. Our server was excellent and took good care of us. Prices were very reasonable. Would go back again when in the area.

Jail house food?,,, Not! Jail house experience?,,, Why not?!! ;D Cahoots, formerly an old jail house and fire station, now a restaurant which maintains a few jail cells in its original condition. It also sports a logo quite similar to Cheers. Remember that one?! 8) Anywhooo, the food here is alright, but it's the experience that draws most. Back in mid October, our group of 16+ photogs were seated in the reserved jail cells. There were two tables in each of the two jail cells with one table in between. Dark, tight quarters, but it was a fun dining experience. Customer service is super friendly and fast. While here, be sure to check out the photos on the walls as they capture its original essence. This is the place to visit if you like history and desire to dine in one of the jail cells. Don't worry. It won't be your last meal. ;D 4 stars for the historic jail cell ambiance and experience. 3 stars for the food. 4 stars for the customer service.

It's fun to eat in an old jailhouse and there is a full bar to distract you from the mediocre food. The food used to be alot better, they've changed some of the items and whoever is cooking now isn't very good at it. Not much parking and prices are kinda high.

I was in the city for business and was told to stop by Cahoots (Jail House). We went for lunch, and at first it seem kind cool, old looking place, specially the jail private dinning areas. However, once I saw the menu, I was convince that it wasn't that great of a place because of their so normal choices. The plates that were given out for our appetizer were clear plates, greasy, they definitely didn't look too clean. I had to clean up mine with a napkin. It took some considerable time to get our meal and at the end the experience wasn't all of that. One time visit was enough.

Salt & pepper shakers are greasy, almost slide out you hand. Disgustingly filthy, which explain dim lighting. Staff friendly but slow.
