This place is sooooooo good! Always a delight coming here. We had the Filet and the homemade cheesecake is one of the best! Very creamy.

Certainly the only place like this in Dickson. Valentine's Day was booked, so we came in on this Thursday night for the regular menu. We had a mix of dishes: shrimp, beef and grouper. Salads were all very fresh and tasty. The main dishes were all attractively presented and nicely prepared. Portions are not large, but enough. For Dickson, it's expensive, but the same experience in larger venues would be at least as much. Service is good but a bit inexperienced for high-end dining. Not a problem. Great attitude, nothing missed. We didn't have dessert, but the choices looked very good. Good bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir.

Don't skip this place. It's just as good as any higher tier restaurants. Victor takes a lot of pride in what they serve. He's a creative chef that won't leave you disappointed!

Excellent surprise lunch spot while on the road. Creamy tomato soup to die for, and the BBQ pork quesadillas were very tasty! Service was also great. I will definitely look this place up again.

My wife and I very much enjoyed a rare evening out at Lugo's. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the wine is fantastic.

This restaurant was quite delicious and I had an enjoyable meal here with my boyfriends family. Pros: good food, attentive service, cute ambiance Cons: slow kitchen, closes at 9 pm I would recommend the plantain chips as an appetizer and the beet salad as a starter salad. All the entrees we ordered were quite good and the desserts were good as well. The restaurant is not large and has an open kitchen which I thought was really interesting. If you go on a weekend, I would guess there could be a wait, we went later so we did not have to wait at all. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Awesome place! Had a party of 24 after attending a visitation for our friends father who passed recently. There was not a bite left on anyone's plate. Rave reviews from everyone. Will be back.

Ate here while traveling for business. Place is in a cool historic downtown area. Stopped here to stay away from the chain restaurants. Service was perfect and the atmosphere was relaxed. Food did take a while to get but you could tell it was freshly cooked when it got to the table. Very tasty and an enjoyable experience.

I have been to Lugo's many times, and have never been disappointed. Their staff is friendly and professional, and the owners, Jennifer and Victor, are welcoming and gracious. Victor has great culinary expertise, and the owners have crafted a thorough but not overwhelming menu of great dishes; something here for everyone. I tend towards the special of the day, which two nights ago was a blackened Corvina served over a bed of mixed veggies, such as shaved brussels sprouts, corn, red potatoes, and peppers. I have also attended several Tapas nights, which are my personal favorite. Usually try a flight of wines on Tapas night, which has led me to a great white, Martin Codax Albarino from Spain. Open Wed. - Sat for lunch and dinner. Stop by sometime, say hello to Jennifer and Victor, and have a wonderful, relaxing meal and a glass of wine. You will be glad you did.

Great restaurant, atmosphere, and owners. They use local farms/food when available. Unfortunately, they source their meat from a very inferior source. They should get their proteins from local Farms as well. A bit overpriced, but great dishes and great portions. You will wait at least 45 minutes for your meal on busy nights.

Lugos is a great restaurant on Main Street in downtown Dickson Tennessee. Privately owned and operated it's cozy and open atmosphere promotes a fine dining experience. The great steaks, seafood, pasta dishes and daily specials will delight and surprise even the distinguished palate. My wife and I have become regulars from Nashville which is a 40 minute drive. It's well worth the trip!!

Lugo's is an adorable and delicious little gem on Main Street. Finally, a classy and yummy non-chain restaurant in DIckson! was very pleasantly surprised at the amazing menu and contemporary chic interiors. I can't remember what I ate (I am writing this months later) but our party of 6 were all happy with the yummy food and relaxing setting.

I grew up in this little hamlet known as Dickson, Tennessee, and don't get back very often I'm afraid. Maybe now, I'll plan a few more trips around dinnertime. Lugo's is a small-ish place. When I was a kid, this building housed the 4-H office. Evidently the chef paid attention in 4-H as a kid, too, because they offer a surprising menu of fresh ingredients, interesting specials, and several solid options. I dined with a couple of high school friends and we started with an interesting plantain chips appetizer ($8 at dinner, $7 at lunch - hey!). The plantains are cut into strips that I remarked reminded me of bacon slices (and that led to a way-off-track conversation), and you dip them into a cilantro lime dipping sauce that is a close relative to ranch dressing. Interesting, not bad, not loving it, either - just don't tell my high school buddy that raived about it. For dinner I ordered the Sherry Chicken Pasta ($17) - which was quite good. Chicken grilled and tossed with fresh zucchini, onions, and peppers in a light sherry sauce over linguini. It was nice to have a pasta dish that wasn't too heavy in a tyipcal alfredo sauce and drenched in cheese. Heard positive reviews at my table for the pork tenderloin and amusing accolades for the "Cupcake" branded red wine in a Red Velet Cake variety. Their wine list overall was surprisingly good for Small Town USA, and they offered several varieties by the glass as well as by the bottle. I opted for a glass of the Maryhill Reisling, and it was quite good and not overly sweet - but refreshing and a nice change of pace. Stole a bite or two of the tiramasu from my dining partner - it was good, not what I'd describe as great, but good. Maybe after dinner here you opt to go for a stroll down the adorable Main Street the restaraunt is a resident of, and see if House Blend coffee is still open on the far end of Main Street (not that it's that far...) and have a latte and a cookie instead. Lugo's closes at 9 am, and our dinner suprised me that we were there from 6 30 or so until almost 9. That wasn't because of the service, rather long conversations and indecisiveness, but it was a little off putting when they were obviously preparing to clean up, prep tables for the next day, and almost a little too enthusiastic about taking away dishes. It appears reservations are in order if you can - this is not a large place and quite popular these days. Still, a very nice choice for good ol' Dickson, and if my schedule works out to be here again around dinner time, I'll definitely be back.

Lugo's is tucked away across the railroad tracks in historic Dickson, TN. This is the perfect finish to a day of antique shopping on Main Street. The owner, prior was a chef at Mack & Kate's when it was located in Kingston Springs. He has a limited but perfected menu. Nice drive on I-40 West or I-70 West, approximately one hour from Bellevue.
