This restaurant was a fun place, a great place to visit as a family. My chicken teriyaki was the best. My husband loved the meatloAf. The portions were large enough to have lunch tomorrow. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Service was fine. Didn't have to ask to refill my drink. Took my order fairly quickly (at the bar), and everything looked as I ordered, except the meat. But the kitchen is inferior, as usual. I always get med to medium well when I order medium rare. I even ask the waiters/ bartenders to ensure that it is cooked accurately, because it's such a chronic problem. You would think a steak house chain would teach their cooks the importance of cooking meat correctly. I can't count the number of times I get overlooked meat at Logan's. I eat it anyway. I don't have time to send it back. Also, my broccoli. I can almost count on it being overcooked and tasting like it was microwaved wayyyy too long. Peppered with brown burnt spots. I've eaten at this location several times.

Great addition to this area, could use more work on their customer service. They pack it out here on Friday nights as there is not much else in the way of mid-level family dining in the area. A small annoyance at the start was that the bar area tabs could not be transferred to my table when I moved, so I had to close out my tab. The food took a long time in coming. I know it was crowded, but this can be foreseen by management who then schedule more cooks to work. I got the steak with fried onions on top and other onions underneath and the underneath ones were over-salted. The parking lot seemed too small; again, it was a busy night. I ended up getting on the curb and parking in the dirt. Don't think I can recommend this Logan's until the customer service issues are remedied. The peanuts are an upside. You can shell them and toss the shells on the floor!

I like the food at Logan's. especially the grilled meatloaf. It's the only reason I keep subjecting myself to the lousy service at the Dickson location. I've spoken to individual restaurant managers and even regional managers. I've received coupons for free desserts all the way to free entrees for two people. The service has run the gamut from being just typical Middle Tennessee indifferent to being downright non-existent. On two different occasions I saw people who were seated AFTER me place their orders, receive their meals, EAT their meals, pay for their meals and leave while I was still waiting for my food to come from the kitchen. On one occasion, our waiter had not even submitted our order, despite repeated assurances that our food should be out any minute now. I've had food delivered not as ordered. I've had food delivered that was ruined before it reached the table. The most recent instance being asparagus that was dark, shriveled and tough.

Beside our hotel and it was nice to walk over and have drinks and food after a 10+ hour drive! Waitress was helpful and attentive. Basic bar food but fine.

We had the BEST experience at this restaurant last night! The food was delicious and the service was top notch! Our server? Joseph, told us he had only been working there for a week and a half and that this was his FIRST job out of the Marines (or Navy, I really don't remember) but you could NOT tell! He was on point. He took such good care of us. And the staff gave a big Yeeeee Hawwww birthday to my niece and brother in law! Awesome!!!

We ate at Logan's Steakhouse last night. We had a large group (17) and often larger groups mean uneven service, but this was not the case for us. They did a great job of keeping our drinks filled, the wait time wasn't bad and the food was good. They also kept us in peanuts and rolls, and they food didnt take long. My burger was the bomb, thick cut bacon, a breaded disk that's made like a chesse stick but has cheddar cheese in it. (It comes with a holiday/thousand island style sauce I don't care for, but the server made sure to ask if I wanted it so that's on me.) And the burger tastde great. Courtney's meat i forget i think it was prime rib was a little fatty but they offered to replace it. We declined since one of our party was happy to eat those bits. So while not perfect food wise the service was great and they seemed willing to fix anything we had concerns about. Did I say my burger rocked? Man I will be looking for a local logans when I get home!

I am a serious fan of Logan and use to drive to Nashville to eat there all the time. This one opened here in Dickson and we went here 3 times and the food was awful every time, then the waiter always comes and asks why we didn't each much of the food, gee it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. Go to any other restaurant in the area but skip over this one. The food is expensive, poor-fully made and the service is hit and miss.

My family and I stopped by Logan's during a roadtrip. We went at an off time (around 3), so the restaurant was pretty slow. The only major complaint we had was the table we were initially seated at was a square booth where we had to scoot all the way around to the back, and because it was square and there were 6 of us (most of my relatives are senior citizens), it was hard to get to our seats and then none of us really had any good table space. We spotted a larger, more traditional open booth and asked to be moved, and they were fine accommodating us. There were peanuts on the table (peanut shells on the ground), and they also brought soft, buttery rolls to the table. Most of us ordered cheeseburgers. They were HUGE. We all brought half home. I had the burger with the fried cheese patty and it was very good. I had traditional fries, which were seasoned well. My relatives all chose sweet potato fries, which came with some brown sugar and cinnamon on them (they were good). There was nothing hugely special about Logan's, but our service was good and the food was decent.

It absolutely pains me to write anything less than a stellar review for this restaurant... I have wanted a nice steakhouse to come to Dickson for so very long, and when Logan's opened a while back we were so excited. So we tried it once... twice.... probably been four or five times over the course of the last year or so. Every single time we get the same experience. Let me try to lay it out for you. You walk in, and immediately you begin to notice how inattentive the staff is. They are mostly kids, and its mostly not their fault; I get the impression that they are probably not well trained. So you are patient, and you finally get seated. Your server gives you mediocre service which almost screams "I want to be somewhere else". Your drink will be empty at least once if not for most of your meal. If you order a steak, it will be prepared some way other than how you asked for it. I'm not talking a touch too pink; if you want well done you might get medium rare, or vice versa. This is pretty consistent.... I've ordered a handful of steaks here (after all isn't that why you go to a steakhouse?), and never once has it been cooked to order properly. If you do have the audacity to ask for a correction to any of these issues, the server will promptly give you a look which pretty much tells you what you can do with your poorly cooked steak. I'm not a snob, I promise. I try so hard to give places as many chances as possible because, after all, we are all human. What really gets to me, however, is when people at an establishment like this make it obvious that they just really don't care. Time and time again. Logan's has historically been a franchise I sought out, but it would be my luck that the one which opened 10 minutes from my house is a total dud. I've given it just about all the chances I can at this point. It is obviously poorly managed, and as long as people keep packing it out on the weekends they probably won't do anything about it. Personally I don't understand why anyone would subject themselves to this, but to each their own. For my money, shoot across the street to another restaurant in the area... Good chance you will have a better experience.
