A decent option for Mexican food in Dandridge. Service was slightly slow, but nothing of too much concern. Staff was friendly and helpful. The house Margarita was reasonably priced and tasted good. Fountain drinks are large with free refills. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices.

The food was okay, other Mexican restaurants in town are cheaper, we visited tonight and the air conditioning was not working, it was 75 degrees outside, so the restaurant was a bit toasty.. the manager did say it would be fixed tomorrow. Overall not bad, might give it another try in the future.

We've eaten here twice and have been very pleased both times! It's very clean, servers and staff are friendly, food came out quickly and it was really good! Will be going back again!

Stopped here while passing through on business. I wasn't sure if i had made a mistake when I pulled up as the restaurant has sort of a strip mall look. I went in with low expectations as there wasn't much else to choose from nearby. I'm sure glad I stayed - I had the BEST Cocktail De Camaron I have ever had in my life! (Thick and filled with good ingredients ) It was literally so good that if I'm anywhere close to this place in the future I'll be stopping here for the night. Service was excellent as well!

By far our favorite Mexican food restaurant in this area. The service has always been excellent and the food is more authentic than most.

This is by far the most tasteless Mexican food I have ever eaten. I order one beer, she brought me another beer and when I looked at it she said, "oh, we didn't have the other one" I was ok with that. My kids got the cheese quesadilla and fries and the chicken nuggets and fries and boy were they happy. My husband and I were not so happy. I ordered pollo loco, I must have been crazy to order that. I was the first to receive my food, then we waited....and waited.... And waited. My sons plate came next.....and we once again waited....then my daughters good came and a good ten minutes later my husbands food finally arrived. My chicken was at most a 1/4 inch thick, and that is probably pushing it, the meal was so bland I couldn't waste my time eating it. My husband got a chile relleno and burrito combo, he said it was bland and tasteless. I wish we had gone pretty much anywhere else, and that includes McDonald's sadly. Never waste your time or money here. I did have two beers which although is not the dinner I was envisioning, at least they were cold and tasty.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
