This is what a bar is supposed to be! Atmoshphere: Slightly dark and worn Decor with a playlist that may include anything from Weezer, Pearl Jam, and MGMT - it works. Food: the best. They make most of the stuff from scratch. The prices are rock bottom and the food just great. Try the Cosmic wing sauce if you dare... it's the hottest ever. Drink: Full bar. Also probably the best draft selection of beer in the area. If I remember correctly, I'd say 15+ beers on draft plus a whole page of hard to find beers in bottles. Staff: Come once and they're nice and friendly. Come twice and they'll remember you. Come three or more times and its Cheers (everyone knows your name). There is a daily drink or food special. If you're new just try the specials. They are a great way to get to know the restaurant. If you have a laptop, bring it. They have free wifi and you will not be at all out of place to spend some time surfing the net or studying while sipping a nice cold brew and munching on a some good food. This is bar that takes it kitchen duties seriously. The kitchen is always open and starts serving a REALLY good breakfast at midnight.

Best. Food. Ever. ... Best. Prices. Ever. Amazing staff too. Almost enough said. Additionally they start serving breakfast at midnight and have the hottest hot wings you will ever eat (ask for cosmic sauce). Finally its a mixed crowd of college students and long time regulars. Free wifi available so you can bring your laptop and work on your projects too!

I went here after work on a Saturday about 6:30pm and it was wonderful.....great atmosphere. Very clean and spacious with an excellent layout plan. We had a couple drinks and some food too. He had the Fried Shrimp Plate and I had the Build a Burger.....It was some of the highest quality freshest food we had gotten in awhile...Most all the ingredients made fresh in house from scratch THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!!! We will DEFINATELY come back again and again even if it is a bar and draws a college crowd....Certainly a GEM!!

My favorite bar in town. Good food, cheap drinks, no creepy people. The wait times for food are hit or miss, but everything else makes up for it. Go on a Wednesday and get cheap wings!

I am really not sure why this place does not come up in the location search. The bartender tells me that this place used to be called birds but I can't seem to find that either. This is an awesome college bar. Their Wednesday wings special draws a crowd whatever the weather. In fact when I wrote this, it was pouring outside. But the place was packed. The food is decent. The wait can be long if you go on a busy night. i waited maybe 40 mins to get a dozen wings. The cosmic wings are HOT. The parmesan garlic wings are very cool. The rest of them are nice too. Like a regular bar they have several beers on tap and make some exotic concoctions. I will definitely be back a few times more. As a social gathering place this place has much to be desired. Its really set up as a restaurant and most people who come there come in groups. So if you're going there to meet new people this could be a limited venue especially if you're not in college. As a date place I think its a good place for a second stop on a first date. I have done that myself and the vibe is very "were a couple" here that your date would probably feel like she knew you for a long time. Besides Cookeville doesn't have that many good date places to begin with. Overall a cool place.

I've been to Cosmos several times....doesn't matter if it's early or late....the food is always excellent! Great service and THE best burgers in town! The place could use some refurbishing, but all in all with food this good it doesn't really matter.
