    First, let me start off by saying that I do not hate chain restaurants. In fact, on occasion, I would say I'm a fan. I grew up in a small town that basically only had chain restaurants, including an O'Charley's, and I so I can appreciate what they have to offer. O'Charley's is usually one of my go to travel choices because I can expect a decent meal at a decent price. This meal however was one of the worst I have had in years. The trademark O'Charley's soup was bland and lukewarm. The rolls lacked butter and arrived dry....seriously...none of that glistening glorious butter-soaked sheen? My steak was cooked correctly and that was the highlight of my meal. The hard as nails, dry, and literally CAKED with salt and pepper sweet potato fries were the lowest of the low point. My boyfriend's meal was almost as bad with his pasta dish arriving with rubbery inedible noodles. BAD!!!! Though, I do feel the need to mention that our waitress was sweet as can be.

    Love the soup! I've been here for lunch and dinner and both are very good. The other day it was cold and raining so my co-workers and I decided soup and salad would be perfect. O'Charley's has a bottomless soup and salad lunch special. I don't really need to eat that much food but I really can't resist trying the soup of the day in addition to the loaded potato soup. I could never give up the loaded potato soup. This day's soup of the day was the tortilla soup and it was perfect to put some warmth in a dreary day. I also don't know anyone that can resist the hot rolls. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The manager there checked on every table and made sure everyone was happy.

    My wife and I regularly order the prime rib take out on weekends. Following is a recap of our last three orders - 1: They forgot to put the two salads in the bag 2: They took our phone order but failed to turn it in. We had to wait over an hour to get our order 3: You could tell by the order that both prime ribs were either spoiled or contaminated. I returned them and the manager (Cody) agreed they didn't smell too good We have not been back to this O'Charleys since this last incident!

    So disappointed with the service and food. My family and I were looking for somewhere to sit down and eat, and we remembered that there was an O'Charley's in Columbia. Right off the bat, it was FREEZING in the building. I understand that the temperature is rising outside, but I'm typically hot everywhere we go and I was chilled to the bone here. Next, they delivered our food (very dry) while my father had to wait about ten minutes for his. Then, my Long Island Iced Tea tasted absolutely REVOLTING. I took one sip and was almost overpowered by how much alcohol was in it. I asked for a glass of water instead. Won't be returning.

    I will never go back to this place again! My husband and I have always been fans of O'Charleys and when a friend from out of town visited she asked if we could eat there. I agreed readily as it was one of my favorites. First off we got a new waitress...I can deal with that, I waitressed throughout high school. It took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive (they were just soft drinks). We both ordered salads with our meals and asked for cheese for the salads. Needless to say after asking 3 times for cheese we finally ate the salads without and the waitress kept saying "Oh I forgot, I'm sorry" Our food came out and went to the table behind us. The couple accepted the plates and then talked about how it was not what they ordered. The waitress came bearing our cheese for the salads we had already eaten and looked at the table behind us confused as to why they had food before we did. She said "Oh no!" and picked up the plates and took them to the back. At this point I told my friend "Surely they are not stupid enough to bring those to us..." Boy was I wrong! 1 minute later here came the waitress and some guy to our table. They set the plates of food down and when I asked if these were they same plates that had been taken to the table behind us he said "Yes, but we changed the plates!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! We sent the food back and a manager came to our table and told me he didn't blame me for sending the food back. I had to say to him that saying that was not proper customer service..you never blame the customer! And this wasn't it folks...Our bill arrived and we were charged twice for my friends steak. I flagged down the waitress who apparently didn't understand what I was saying because she brought the same bill back to our table. I tried to flag down the manager who looked directly at me and turned his head and I never saw him again. The waitress finally made her way to our table and I again explained we were charged twice for the same meal. She took the ticket to return to our table 25 minuets later. She told us she had to beg the manager to give us her 25% discount but it was on there. I looked at the bill and there was a 25% discount...but...the steak was STILL on there. Again I explained that the steak was still on there. We had chicken and steak not chicken and 2 steaks. She took the ticket and 20 minutes later returned with the ticket, minus one steak and one 25% discount. This horrible night out lasted 2 1/2 hours...mostly trying to get appropriate service. We will not be returning.

    The rolls have too much air in em. Def not like my ma's...they "pop" like balloons and almost disappear. The service is very good and the establishment does its best to accommodate your requests. The Salmon is great. The salads are green n good.
