First time in Tennessee and first time eating here. We were seated and our server was so kind and interested to tell us about the menu and explain. I had ordered the salmon which was delish! Next time I'll probably not get the small. Along with the Caesar salad. Didn't get dessert nothing really appealed to me but that's just personal reasons. Definitely coming back here and with people.

Rude waitresses, mediocre food, and for a chain restaurant, it's definitely overpriced. If the choice is between this and Macaroni Grill, I'd choose Macaroni Grill every day of the week.

Carrabba's is an Italian restaurant chain in the US. Been there a number of times, thought it was time to do a review. If you're travelling in the US, Carrabba's is a great place to go if your in the mood for Italian food. For Canadians, Carrabba's is similar to East Side Mario's, but with a slightly higher class level, more like The Keg. Very family oriented, great service, bar area... but most importantly... great food. They always start you out with fresh baked bread with olive oil for dipping. For a restaurant chain the food quality really is surprisingly good and consistent between locations, which is no easy task for Italian food. They have no problem with custom orders, aim to please. Food portions are also very good. I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti. They give you two large chicken cutlets, plenty of pasta and your choice of great soups and salads. A 2nd time I was there I ordered the Tagliarini fresh pasta with meatballs, excellent! Every location I've been to has always been busy, packed with a great atmosphere. Overall it's a great place to go when travelling or if you have one in your area.

Had never been to a Carrabba's before. It was good. A step up from Olive Garden, though OG has better bread. Wouldn't be my go-to place but I can see why people like it.

My husband and I went to the wine pairing on 7/1/15. We were very disappointed because we went to one in March which was a great experience. However we were very disappointed this time. None of the wines were described or told how they were paired with each dish. My steak was well done and I asked for medium. My husband asked for rare and his was medium. The spices were so overpowering we couldn't taste the meat anyway. We asked for water which we never received. The server gave us our food by reaching over the shoulder of the people sitting across from us. Overall we didn't enjoy it because we felt like we were an inconvenience.

The food has always been good for me here. I had the sirloin marsala a bunch. Very good. Also the veggies for sides are always well done. Whatever it is that they put in the olive oil for the bread I don't care for though. It's bitter and not savory. They also were very accommodating for my wife's birthday when I brought in a cake. They kept it in the fridge and brought it out with some candles and ice cream. That's great customer service in my mind.

If you love Chef boyardee you'll love this place it's the mcdonalds of Italian food. You place your order they take your selection out of the freezer then stick it in the microwave.

We had a group of 8 and everything was PERFECT !! I had the Tuscan tenderloin and it has to be the best steak I've had in the Chattanooga area ! My sister had the Salmon and it was great, Mom had the chicken Marsals and said it was fantastic. This is one dinner I won't soon forget

The place was ok my first impression was horrible. We walked in and you could see at least 30 tables empty and they put us on a wait along with about 10 other people. Not sure what was going on but a 20 minute wait for tables that were empty is not acceptable. After we got seated the food was good but there was no bread ready so another wait for a place that was not busy. And the service was really good so we will return again for food and service and hopefully the organization by the management will be better next time.

Awful! I don't know which was worse - the food or the service. I spoke with the manager and she could have cared less to correct the issues. To top it off I was charged for a glass of wine that never made it to the table. Needless to say I will not be back to this establishment. One star is just being polite.

Before people get upset about the low score im posting, allow me to explain. This used to be a wonderful place to dine. Now, with a new propriator, service speed has horribly slowed; in fact I never saw anyone expediating for the kitchen. As a result, my food came out slow and overcooked dreadfully. It's very sad, really. I hope they regain their old form.

My first impression was not the best. When I walk into a restaurant I expect to be greeted. Unfortunately that did not happen tonight. Instead I was "welcomed" by a blank stare and silence. On top of that I had to tell her "party of..."- she didn't even ask, she kept looking at me in a daze! She finally snapped out of it, but c'mon, what kind if service is that? Such a strange experience to say the least. The reason I didn't rate less stars is because my waitress made up for it. She was pleasant and the food was good.

Chattanooga's top Italian option. Bypass Olive Garden!

We used to call in and pick up and the service is great!! Bets in town for not getting out of your car and taking home good food. The food is always good. The drinks are good. The service is usually good but sometimes better than other.

I give this Italian chain 5 stars simply because I have never been disappointed by their food or service. They remain consistent with satisfying my entire family. And on top of that they are very reasonably priced, and have a comforting atmosphere.

This is a good Italian alternative to anything else nearby. I prefer the chicken Mezzaluna but they have a menu-full of tasty options. We use the take-out more often than we dine in. They have designated take-out parking spots and the service is fast and we've never had a problem with our orders thus far. They are NOT open for lunch at this location except on Sundays. Open most days at 4:00 PM

You can count on a good meal, if you don't mind the wait. Always a full house, friendly staff and good service!

We went on a Friday night and surprisingly we only waited about 10 minutes. We ordered the Mozarella sticks and split a seafood linguine dish. the food came out so quickly, they forgot the appetizer. The food was okay nothing that stood out. it is a better option than a place like olive garden. The service was good and the staff was friendly.

This restaurant was my party's choice for the after-prom meal. We called in advance to ask if they would be willing to stay open for a very large group. My date and I arrived the last of our party (of 18) and were greeted by smiling servers. We were served quickly, and the food was wonderful. Servers were constantly working to keep our drinks filled and bread coming. They did not mind the noise and even joked around with us. This is a great place for large groups.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
