Pretty tasty!!! Was there a few weeks ago. Bring the hunger and the fun. If you get a combo platter be ready to eat A lot. The food isn't the best bbq ever, but I Good to Very Good comes to mind. A nice plus is the bar tender is very attentive. Got drinks super fast.

Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back which I like. We really wants to like this place, because their convenience location, so we went 4 times last 11 years...our meal was always so mediocre and nothing great about it. Don't know why so crowded this place? Just because cheaper?

First time here...the service was excellent. Fried pickles and onion rings very good. I enjoyed the pork tacos, beans & rice nothing special. My husbsnds pulled pork sandwich was good also. I have had much better sauces elsewhere, tried all 4 on the table and neither stood out.The bathroom was pretty disgusting I have to say, but I will go back again someday!

We have their BBQ twice now. We are in from Memphis the best BBQ around but I must say this place has it down. Great pork and beef BBQ. The smoky flavor is just right not too much that it's bitter but just enough to taste it. We had the beef BBQ by the pound the first night and BBQ pork sandwiches the other night, they both passed with high marks. Next time we are in visiting family we will stop by and grab a couple of pounds of BBQ and won't forget the banana pudding. Got to have their pudding. Great job

Would definitely go again. All our food was good. Only the pulled pork was a little chewy. I wanted to try more things on the menu!

The wife & I came to town from Los Angeles to visit family. While here, I wanted some good ole Southern BBQ. I'm from the south and I really miss the food out here. My son recommended Bones. I ordered the BBQ platter. Rarely can I say that everything on my plate was perfect, but it was. I got my fix for fried okra, which I just can't get at home. I topped the meal off with peach cobbler, which again was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding as well. The only negative thing about our visit was the men's room. It was disgusting, but I didn't go there to use the restroom, so I'm not including it in my overall rating.

Very uneven. Been 5 times. Really good, once. Average, three times. Last visit, cold fries, with a special side order of HAIR under my food. YUCK. Place was almost empty, but order took forever, service was terrible. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

My family has been going here for years, and it has always had good food, service, and atmosphere. The fried pickles are the best I've ever had, the smoked barbeque is delicious, and there are also many non barbeque items on their menu too. On fridays they have special items not normally on their menu, including cajun barbeque shrimp and grits or sometimes smoked prime rib.

Why is this place always so packed? Why are there so many cop cars and garbage trucks there at lunch? Why is there a line outside every Friday night even in winter? Smoked Prime Rib. With sides and a cold beer...um. Enough for leftover sandwich for lunch the next day. They don't always have it to call or read the sign first. Also have had the smoked chicken salad and it was also good. Local family place. Same folks there I think every Friday and Saturday. Get there early as it fills quick. The smoked chicken pasta is very good too.

I thought the food was average, service was great and the place was kept up nicely. We ordered fried pickles and potatoe skins. We all loved the fried pickles and the sauce they serve goes great with them. The potatoe skins were tasty as well and not too greasy. I ordered the sliced beef with mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries. The beef was a little dry, tough and not that smokey tasting. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly and the mashed pot were great and garlic-y. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken salad and said it tasted great, but I didn't try it. Our server was nice and attentive. The food came out fast and hot. We never had to ask for refills. The place seemed well maintained. The bathroom was a little dirty, but we came during the evening rush, so I understand. Overall, not my favorite place for BBQ, but safe.

Our absolute favorite BBQ place. I especially love the ribs and my wife loves their pulled pork. They are also famous for their periodic prime rib special. We also frequently order the fried pickles which come with a great dipping sauce.

My favorite BBQ place in Chattanooga. I've tried the ribs (Memphis dry are my favorite, but the wet rubs are also great), pulled pork, chicken, and ham, and all are excellent. Selection of mild original, hot, and Carolina sweet sauces. Best sides are calico beans and sweet-potato chips. My VERY picky 7-year-old LOVES their chicken strips and fries.

My pulled pork was decent, but the brisket was waayy too dry. If you've been to great BBQ places, this one will disappoint. Stick to places like Salt Lick in Austin, TX.

Bones Smokehouse is my favorite BBQ place in Chattanooga. The food is always good and they have a lot more than just BBQ on the menu. The smoked chicken enchiladas are one of my favorites. The staff if friendly and the service is always good. I would recommend it anytime.

Although I'm not a huge BBQ fan (raised in Indiana) This locally owned smokehouse has won us over. Pulled pork is the way to go but try the fried dill pickle chips first.

Bones' is much more than just bbq. The food is good old southern comfort food. The bbq is good but my personal favorite is the bbq pork tacos. They arent on the menu but if you are lucky, they are making them the day you visit. They also serve great meatloaf, pot pie, and various salads. Even better than the food is the great service!
