We stopped in because of the reviews on yelp. The food was not very good. My wife ordered chicken strips but they tasted like fish. My sisters salad had crotons that she had to spit out. I had waffle and chicken and it was pretty good. There was a funky smell and air fresheners were on the tables. There was a weird local music thing going on. A very nice young man with pink hair, black shirt and pants and pink bow tie played solo guitars but is nowhere near ready to entertain in public and it made things very uncomfortable as his family outnumbered customers. Finally, my sisters meal that was also chicken strips didn't come out until we were almost done eating. Nice people but not a very good place to eat.
Great southern food and friendly atmosphere. You will meet the local folks there, a wonderful WWII Veteran who hangs out. You HAVE to try the home made pies with the best cup of bottomless coffee in town! Great stop after a day on the lake. Every Friday and Saturday night they bring in Country bangs; run dinner specials, come early as the seats go fast!
