I was in Paris, Tn last week to visit family and all my friends suggested Meo Mio's. I have been there when it was Seatons. So I was like ok. Anytime people outside of New Orleans uses the word Creole or Cajun I kinda roll my eyes cause it really just means a ton of pepper and some Tony Chachere seasoning added to it. Long story short we ended up going and I have to say the new owner has put alot of work into the outside and it looks very nice. The inside is about the same with alot of fleur de lis decorations. The service was good she was on point when it came to low drinks or anything like that. I ended up ordering the Mardi Gras Pasta. Basic white sauce with green peppers, onions and some andouille sausage. The rest of the group ended up getting there cajun catfish. They came out in these big metal type bowls and was enough prolly to feed two people easy. I also saw several people around me eating crab legs. I will try them next time I am in town. Being that I have lived in paris for over 15 years. Paris is one of those towns that really has nothing exciting to offer. But I have to say I am happy that at least now it has a good restaurant. Well done guys Keep up the good work. I will be back.

Best restaurant in the lake area. Passable Cajun food. Po boys good. Gumbo not so much. Good bar scene on weekends. Service can be slow so no five stars.

Food is not the best Cajun food I've ever eaten, but it is acceptable especially considering the lake location. I had a muffuletta and it was good. I would not recommend what the menu labels as as beignets; they did not taste bad but were nothing like the little "dittys" served at the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans.

This is the very best place to eat in this area. I look forward to coming to this area every year just knowing I will be eating here. Every thing we all have tried here was perfect. Service is great and friendly. Great Bar area with TVs. Im not a big Rib eye guy, But that Cajun rib eye that they have is wonderful, So tender and tasteful. No Complaints at all here.

This place came highly recommended to me on my recent visit and it did not disappoint. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I wasn't completely blown away by anything. I'm a big fan of Cajun and was hoping that had some crowd but they didn't! So disappointed. I was really hoping they had that there but hey did have boudin. Now most people might not care for boudin but living up north, I have no chance to get my hands on any so I was pretty stoked about finally getting to try some. I started out with their rajun shrimp and wasn't impressed. It's just shrimp with buffalo sauce. I don't know why I was even interested. I also had a cup of jambalaya that was good. I'm no expert in Cajun foods so I felt it was pretty good. Take my opinion for what it's worth. Onto the my main meal, the boudin. Picking my main meal was a feat I must admit. I wanted to try shrimp and and grits as it's pretty popular and I've never had grits before. The Gumbo supreme was also up for the running but I ultimately decided on the boudin as I love anything in casings and the boudin reminded me of a dish that mom makes with hog casings and sticky rice. I watched a YouTube episode of Vice I believe in boudin so I was instantly intrigued! I wanted to try the blood boudin as well but they didn't offer it. I'm assuming this boudin is prepacked somehow as the show said boudin is made that way now because it's so popular down that way. Upon receiving my plate, I saw the boudin had a slit running down lengthwise! Why!? I'm assuming it's to help it cool off but it destroyed the integrity of it I feel. It seems boudin is best eaten as a on the go or snack type deal vs hot out of the boiler? I moved on to explore the rest of plate and the corn was BLAND! The potatoes were....potatoes and there was another small side of jambalaya that I enjoyed but already had a cup of earlier. I took the boudin to go and enjoy later when it was cooler or room temp and firmer. I'll say it was much more delicious and enjoyable cold. I wanted to try dessert but did t have room for it so I ended it there. Overall, it's a nice place and I would visit again. Again, I'm not a Cajun expert but it held up for me. A Louisiana guy sent me there and he said he approved of it so take that for what it's worth.

Food is good, the people are extremely nice, however, after a hour and a half, had not received my meal. I ate part of my wife's plate. Asked for the check and called it even. Place was packed so they probably cared less about our experience. Go early.

Was looking forward to eating here. I had one of the buckets; catfish was undercooked, crab legs salty, shrimp I sent back to get cooked more. I may be picky when it comes to seafood because Papadeaux's was my go to place until we moved.

We really enjoyed it, even my Cajun wife thought it was good. The crab legs were great and the catfish was also. My wife enjoyed the crawfish tails and gumbo.

This restaurant is close to my home and I am very happy about that! My husband and I really enjoy the food and drinks. The service is also great. Very fun place.
