Always good, fresh food. Obsessed with the Mexican cheesesteak burrito. Melts in your mouth! Also, must try the Chef's special. Honey pouring over veggies, rice and chicken. Yum ! Always bring your meal fast and the salsa has a kick. Love this place.

Who would've thought I'd find a great Mexican spot in BFE Tennessee? Surprisingly awesome. Good corn tortillas and really tasty, spicy salsa. Nice service too. Ask em for the watermelon Agua Fresca (not on the menu but if they like you they'll share)

La Corona is my must-go-to when I'm in town. Family-owned, clean, consistent quality and great service. Nothing fancy, just great basic Mexican food that I look forward to every time I visit.

Funny... I pay less at this Mexican restaurant and the food quality is better than more expensive nearby Mexican restaurants. I'll see you again La Corona.

When I pulled off of 81, I was only looking for Chester's. I am so glad I couldn't figure out where it was! I'd give this place a 3.5 if I could. Since I can't, I'll push it to 4 since the value for the money is out of line with the offerings in the diner's favour. I will eat Mexican every chance I can get. I love how authentic this place was. I ordered La Favorita. My only complaint here was that there was so much queso on mine that it drowned out some of the good flavours they had developed in the meats. The solution was to just soak up the extra with the generous portion of yellow corn tortilla chips they provide. I got a bite of a chicken tamale and beef taco as well. The red sauce is smooth and delightful. Their red salsa is pureed but seasoned just right. My favourite by far was the pico de gallo that came with my order. It was fresh just like it should be. They are fast! So don't worry if you only have a little bit of time for lunch. The order was on the table by the time I got back from the restroom. $18.30 for 2 lunch platters and drinks.

All I can say is WOW. My friends and I just stopped here on a road trip and were very surprised and satisfied with our food. Hearty, authentic Mexican food which came out in the span of a few minutes. I just pointed at something on the vegetarian menu and was very pleased with what I got. The portions are quite large, too. We felt a bit rushed, but they were closing soon so it was understandable. Get an order of the table side guacamole if you want to complete the holy trinity of salsa and pico de gallo with your chips. I was wondering if it's all homemade, because the salsa and guacamole were delicious, and pico de gallo was super fresh!

Very good service. Cannot beat the price. Food was a tad salty. Thought the white cheese topping was processed. In a strip shopping center so cold when the outside door opens up. Overall average....I am from chicago with great family Mexican restaurant s so had to not be biased in Tennessee!

Wow! This place is excellent! My wife and I took a chance heading from Asheville up to Syracuse. A quick stop off 81 and came upon La Corona. Friendly Staff! We were so glad we did! Got the meal to go...shrimp chimichangas with rice! Awesome! So tasty! Even the rice is excellent! Will make the stop a habit!!!

Very pleased. My mom and stepdad who live in Blountville took me here on 6/8/14. I could not tell you what they had, but I ordered a steak and cheese burrito with refried beans. Me, who graduated from Taco Bell, and is doing his Masters at Chipotle, got a taste of something so much better here. It's a small town, and a family owned restaurant. It is small, clean, and the service quick and friendly. They have a very sizable menu with detailed descriptions of each dish and a glossary with pronunciation of Taco, Quesadilla, etc...for those like me who still are a little intimidated by the Mexican menu. Ask questions! If you live nearby, or are visiting Bristol Speedway, skip McDonald's next store and eat some real food for a few dollars more. I hope I have a chance to go back before I head back to Boston.

Driving from DC to New Orleans and stopped for dinner. This place is average at best, not very authentic or high quality ingredients at all. Decent service and the chicken chef special were the only good things about our visit.
