Food here was awesome! Michelle our waitress was wonderful! Great service and great food! Love the music playing in the background!

Food is good but this place lacks windows, light and color. You can go there for lunch and it will be lit the same as it is for the 9pm crowd. Food is omly thing worth its value here.

What a wonderful time!!! This place has it all!! Small town charm, beautifully decorated and the most adorable server! When we walked in, we were greeted like long lost friends and given a tour of this simply charming place. For lunch, I selected the shrimp and grits and it was quite amazing. Possibly the most delicious I have ever had!! I will definitely come back!!!

PROS: - Wonderful service. We met the owners and they are lovely people; so sweet and welcoming. When visiting for dinner one evening, we received a long stem rose. Just a lot of attention to how we, as customers, were enjoying our time there. - Delicious food. I've been there twice now -- once for lunch and once for dinner. The Shrimp and Grits were fantastic, the Rock Slide Brownie was decadent, and the side dish of fried potatoes was awesome! I've loved everything I've tried there (to include bites of meals that were ordered by my family members). - Pleasant atmosphere. Great selection of music, dim lighting, comfortable booths and tables. I even saw that they will be adding a patio. CONS: - Almost no vegetarian dishes. If you're a vegetarian and order the Wedge Salad, double-check whether or not it will come with bacon crumbles.

Love this place. Great place for date. Impressive service and the food was so good. Owner said steaks pork chops salmon are all hand cut in house. thought that was good.

My girl friend and I have been in for the Sunday brunch several times. Colleen always greets us with open arms. The atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. We always sit in the bar area. We have had the french toast, pancakes, and the Lobster Benedict and all were awesome. We usually have the mimosas or a bloody Mary with it and they are also very, very good!!! Although we have only been for brunch, we are planning on going back soon for dinner, and making this our permanent place for special occasions.

Just ok! My chicken was burned and the noodles and alfredo sauce had no taste. I've had better. The best thing was the romantic atmosphere.

NOTE: The food persuaded me not to give this place one star. What a disappointment! I had high hopes for this spot and I have been wanting to go for a few months. I finally made it and I am not sure I want to give it a second chance. We were greeted and seated, but after 5 minutes no one had brought water or taken our drink orders. We were on lunch and after wondering where the wait staff was aloud, the lady next to us said that she has been waiting for 15 minutes! About 45 seconds later the waitress came around the corner. We placed our order and she mixed the drinks up between the three of us (not such a big deal). We asked for a high chair, which never came, so I got up and searched for one myself. About 20 minutes later my friends side caesar salad came out, after another 10 minutes we just asked to get it boxed up because we were going to be late getting back to work. The experience was horrible and I would give this place one star, but the food was actually good once we finally got to taste it. The bad part is that we couldn't tell if it was the service that was bad or if the kitchen that was just extremely slow? We came to a consensus that they were both at fault. There are more details that I will leave out that made this one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. The potatoes and the seafood poboy were pretty good. The remoulade was just spicy enough to give the fish and shrimp the proper kick. I expected fries, but came with home style fried potatoes that were good, but a bit greasy. Maybe it was just an off day because we would like to make this a routine lunch stop, but it is going to take some debating to get us back in the door.

Food is reasonably priced and very fresh. Try the BLT wedge salad, it is a meal by itself. I liked the Tomato Basil Soup - very thick and rich though could have used a little less salt (most people would find the salt content ok). Try the Fried Pickles up front very nice crust - they come with Ranch but you can request a Wasabi Option which is good if you like your eyeballs to roll to the back of your head. Atmosphere is intimate - good place for a special occasion. Good service! The staff and owners are friendly and the reason for the fifth star. We plan on returning soon.

I've been working in the area for about a year now, and this was by far the worst lunch hour I've had. The decor was nice and raised my expectations when I walked in only to be let down by terrible service, and mediocre food. It doesn't compliment the food as I ate it out of a to-go box, on the way back to work after waiting 40 minutes dining in. Not how I expected to spend an hour during lunch. I had the soup, salad and sandwich for lunch. It's hard to mess up a salad. The tomato basil soup was decent, but nothing to rave about. My cold grilled cheese sandwich was just that, cold, like it waited as long as I did to be served. My wife had the fries and chicken tenders in which she described as "nasty." I wouldn't recommend eating here if you have somewhere to be, I wouldn't recommend eating here at all for that matter. You money is well spent somewhere else in the area.

We found this little gem here on yelp tonight and are really glad we decided to come in! We were greeted warmly by Colleen at the hostess stand when we arrived and she seated us at a cozy booth in the back. The atmosphere is intimate and very pleasant. Candles throughout and a mix of current music on the sound system make for a lovely ambience. Our server Hannah was wonderful! She explained the menu, told us her favorites, and told us a bit about the restaurant. We started with a glass of wine (there is a small but decent selection of wines and a full bar) and a little loaf of dinner bread. Our meal was delicious! My ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the chicken cordon bleu which has a decidedly Italian flair and it is fantastic! Hand rolled, stuffed with spinach and mozzarella, wrapped with bacon and topped with a tomato basil sauce. Baked potato and Mac and cheese were good as well. With that being said, let me say that anyone who comes in MUST try the Brussels sprouts! They are divine and I'm certain I could have polished off a whole plate of them! We are happy to be able to support local business right here in our neighborhood and will definitely be back. In my opinion they have the perfect mix of friendliness, good service, and delicious food. We can see being regulars here!

Today I had Easter brunch with my family at a place I've never been before. The lunch could not have been more perfect! The price is perfect, my steak was divine, the seasoning on the food was great. We even stuck around for coffee and dessert! The atmosphere was relaxed but pleasant and dimly light with fresh flowers. I can't wait to go back for a date night!

This place was fantastic! Great service and an even better brunch! We started with mimosas, of course, and they have an AMAZING passion fruit mimosa, which I highly recommend. It is wonderfully refreshing without being too sweet. The regular mimosa is fantastic, as well, and is certainly not weak! The food was high quality, hot and tasty. We had the stuffed french toast and the eggs benedict. Both dishes were the best we've ever had of both! I highly recommend this place for your brunch/hangover curing needs! We will be coming back frequently.

My family had my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner at Ellendale Grill and everything was AMAZING! From the moment we entered the door the service was outstanding! The food was great and the presentation was beautiful! Even the decor was nice! The owners Colleen and her husband are great people and they have great customer service! We will most definitely be back. Highly Recommended!

I spotted Ellendale Grill a few weeks back driving on HWY 70 and was intrigued by the nice exterior of the old building all the while trying to remember what was at that location in the past. If my memory serves me it was a Pet Hotel. Not that it's important but I always wonder what makes someone look at a place and think "this would be a great location for a restaurant." After a couple weeks passed I finally found my way there for lunch. Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised by the overhaul of the interior. It was dimly lit and a little more romantic than I had anticipated for a lunch with a business colleague. We laughed it off and went on to our table. Service was great. We were seated promptly and our Waitress was quick and thorough. We never needed for anything. The food on the other hand was a little disappointing. We ordered the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and for $5.50 we were served about a dozen very small mushrooms. Not only was the portion size very small there were several of them that were still cold in the middle and one that was still frozen. Definitely not made in house. I ordered the Black and Blue Burger. The menu said it was stuffed with Blue Cheese. Not the case. It came out open faced with a big glob of Blue Cheese "something" slapped on top of the patty. Not a bad burger but definitely not as advertised. The fries was old style crinkle cut and were very good although they were not evenly cooked. Some were perfect but a lot of them were way overcooked. I really wanted to like this place. I left feeling overcharged and disappointed with the food. The burger could have easily been a 4 star burger but come on, you tell me I'm getting a stuffed burger, I want a stuffed burger. And how do you fry mushrooms and fries so unevenly? I'll give Ellendale Grill another chance and if there is a great improvement I'll update my review.

I've been to this restaurant twice and each time they ran out of what I wanted to order... Soooooo, the 2nd time was the last! Not only they ran out of food, our waitress was the worst I've ever had. She disappeared for almost 45 minutes, yes, it took 45 minutes until she checked on us and I had to go find the manager to let them know that our waitress just completely forgot about us. Her excuse was, the meal my friend ordered takes long to cook...that would have been good to know from the beginning instead of just totally ignoring until the food is ready!!! How about our drinks!!!! Anyway, the food is not at all great and the service was below average... Forget the rose...I want good service and decent food!!! Haven't been back there since then and never will... Sorry, I wanted so bad to support a locally owed restaurant that's why we went in the first place and even gave it a second try. But this place just failed all expectations. Obtw, even the free desserts the manager offered failed!

My husband and I tried out the Ellendale Grill for the first time tonight, and we will definitely be going back. Both of our meals were excellent (salmon and NY strip), and the service was great. The atmosphere is cozy, more of a place for couples or a dinner with friends than a family restaurant. They have a full bar, and are open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Highly recommend.

My wife and I saw the restaurant open slowly to little fanfare - so here it is! After seeing the crowds increase over the past weeks, we decided to go. We saw the entrees on the website and I decided I wanted the Pork Chop, the 14-oz Pork Chop. When I called, Sherry took our reservation and warmly greeted us on our arrival. Her upbeat attitude started the evening off right. The intimate atmosphere and attentive service enhanced the flavor of the food and pleasure of the evening. I was not disappointed in the 14 oz. bone-in Pork Chop. It was seasoned perfectly, and was very moist and delicious. They handcut all of their meats. My wife enjoyed the grilled asparagus along with her salmon. We are planning for a Sunday Brunch sometime as well - there are more dishes we want to try. Whenever you go, you need to treat yourself to some wonderful food and an enjoyable time.

This place has everything you're looking for a fantastic dining experience. The drinks are fabulous. I recommend the peach martini and the chocolate martini. They are divine! They also have a great wine list. The menu offers many delicious choices that are beautifully presented as well as full of flavor. And, trust me. You will want dessert. The brownie with ice cream is to die for. The staff is so personable and attentive. They will definitely take care of you and make sure you have a wonderful time. The atmosphere provides a perfect place for a date, a party, or even just a great time spent with family and friends. There's something for everyone here. I highly recommend it!

Had dinner with my family and had a great dinner and experience. Loved the atmosphere and wait staff. Wine selection and martins were spot on. I'm not a fan of Brussels sprouts, but I am now. Great flavor and preparation. Steaks melted in our mouths.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible service. Went on a Wednesday evening. Only 1 car in parking lot. Should have recognized from lack of cars how bad this place is! My wife had been there 1 time before and expressed a interest in giving them a followup visit. Greeted promptly a a seated at table. Went to pickup menu and found the tabletop coated with oil. Greasy slimy nasty. Seems they can't get tabletops clean and coated them with some sort of cleaning oil or cleaning agent. Never wiped it up!! When asked the server was less than cordial and couldn't see why we wanted to move. Other tables had table clothes but were just as sticky abs dirty. When we explained we were leaving and not coming back she just stood there appalled that we would leave this place. She honestly couldn't understand what was wrong. No offer to clean the table. No explanation or a I'm sorry. Just plain stupid. This place won't be here in 3 months at the rate they are going. Sad to see them go but in small business it's all about attitude abs customer service. She has the attitude just sadly the wrong one!! Lack of customer service. Lack of restaurant management. Hope they change their ways and learn quickly otherwise it will be up for rent before Christmas!

Very good! Casual fine dining spot- 3 rooms divided for different ambience- front room with TVs and high tops- 2 backrooms more cozy plus room for a private party event- I love that lighting is soft and music is contemporary but nice. Bacon wrapped tenderloin app could be a meal. Rich tomato basil soup and giant wedge salad with blue cheese was a great dinner. Delicious bread and butter- important! Hubby had thick pork chop w asparagus and a loaded baked potato---all for much less than we would have spent at Firebirds or J Alexanders- glad to support local and be appreciated for my dining dollars. We will be back for the Sunday brunch and Tuesday night catfish night - thanks to the very gracious owners who chatted with us and have put their heart and soul into this enterprise to bring some new dining options to Bartlett! You could roll in here with shorts and a T-shirt or a business suit and feel right at home---next time I'm going for the carrot cake.....

We tried Ellendale Griill after several recommendations from friends. We went on a Tuesday night and were 1 of only 2 tables occupied. Mike, our server was very prompt and friendly. He made some suggestions and we got the 14 oz pork chop that was really good and the chicken cordon bleu that was also tasty. The Mac and cheese and brussel spouts were our favorite sides. Would not suggest the asparagus. We asked about other menus and were given them on the way out. It would be great if they had offerings from the lunch menu at dinner. I think they are limiting their customer base having just the dinner menu. Many living in Bartlett work in other areas and lunch is not an option. Why not have both to encourage customers to come back more often? Or serve the lunch menu in the front bar area? We willl be back to try the brunch. It is great to see a new concept in Bartlett and we wish them luck!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
