Ate here tonight. Great food. The owner always makes you feel like family. Service can be slow when it's busy but they make up for it in quality and friendliness. Will continue to come back.
We loved it. Kids and I out for a rare night off from sports. Cheese dip and fajitas were the bomb. We will be back.
Good food, terrible service. Love the cheese dip and the rest of the food but every time I have ever gone I am always looking for my server.

Tas T O Donuts

I am a self proclaimed doughnut aficionado, and have eaten doughnuts at more places than I can count since relocating to the Memphis area. This is my favorite by far! the Bavarian cream is sweet but not overpowering, and the glazed doughnuts with assorted icing are light fluffy with great flavor. Everything I have tried has been awesome! One of my personal favorites is a more unique item, a Hawaiian fritter which has cherry, coconut and pineapples in the dough. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who cant decide or wants to try something new. I have been here several times, often later in the day but there are still fresh items to be had. That said the earlier you go in the better the selection will be as with any Doughnut shop.
First of all let me say that my brother and his wife used to own this shop. But since they sold it to new owners, I think I can review it objectively. The original Tas-T-O Donuts was located in Frayser on North Watkins, and was extremely popular. It was frequently voted best donuts in Memphis in various publications. But the neighborhood went down, so after many years, the owners closed up shop. Loyal patrons mourned. I mourned. I grew up in that area, and as a kid it was one of my favorite treats. Well many years later, my brother researched a bit, found the previous owners and bought rights and recipes to reopen in a different location out in Arlington. It caught on quickly, and most any morning you will find a line of folks waiting for some of the best donuts in existence. My personal favorite is the plain and simple glazed donut. When it's warm out of the oven, it practically dissolves in your mouth. I have never tasted donuts like this anywhere else. If you're in the area, stop in and try them for yourself. You might find your new addiction.
Lots of doughnuts here... without any good coffee. If you're passing through on I-40 just keep going and stop at the Starbucks at the Wolfchase Mall (exit 16). There aren't many other good options.

We try to eat local (Arlington TN) but there simply aren't many choices. When this place opened I wasn't impressed but since there are so few places to eat locally we visit here more often then I thought we would. It has survived many other new startups so that says something. I suppose the hardest part about starting a restaurant is the getting it all together part, hot, tasty food, food service and a balance between portions and price. These guys are getting it together! Each time I go it gets better. The food to me (I'm cheap) is still a bit overpriced for what you get, but then I'm not driving 30 minutes into the big city for a nice meal, so I suppose I can live with that. It is tasty and pretty original. Portions have increased a bit so you feel you are getting your money's worth more so now. The best bit, it is clean! Restrooms and dining area. I really like it and am happy it's in Arlington. Note it the restaurant: My request: wipe off the menus between all customers...mine had some sort of goo on it. (Ew!). My main beef with EVERY restaurant (not just this one) has arisen here as well..."How does your food taste?" Really? This is a bothersome question, I mean, isn't it supposed to taste great? (When did this question start?) "How is everything? Or "May I get you anything? Are acceptable questions. Interrupting the conversation at the table is just plain rude. If we want something, just stop a moment to fill glasses and if we need something, we'll ask. If we stop talking you can offer to bring anything we need. Asking how the food tastes makes me wonder what you did to my food and worry that at some point I'm going to taste it. This is a universal question now but if Brendelay reads this, please stop. I would also make one other suggestion. Since this is such a pretty restaurant but since some feel that the prices are a little high, it might make us feel like it's an even classier joint if the servers wore something besides jeans and t-shirts. Possibly black slacks and white buttoned shirts. Nothing too fancy but just make it look like more than an employment opportunity for the high school cheerleaders. The environment is great. The atmosphere very nice. It just appears that the goal of the restaurant is two sided, a friendly local pub (it has the cleanest pub area I've ever seen with 6 TVs) or the upscale restaurant. It's a little of both. To change the uniform of the servers and hostess would make it look much more professional and I don't think it would hurt the pub side either. I seriously doubt that this will change your profits, but one never knows until you try. Thanks for hanging in there and I hope things continue to go well. We will be back soon.
Frequent visitor and for good reason. Staff is always friendly and awesome and the food is even better. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great time.
The food at Brendalay's was good, but nothing special. My waiter was great! Interestingly, the restaurant is split between a more classy front and a casual/pub feel in the back. The menu even seems split between the two layouts.

Mayo’s Burger & Wings

Reviews:
Love this place! As if the food weren't great enough, the owners and staff are incredible as well. The fried bologna sandwich is spectacular. The wings are always fresh and tender. The hamburgers/cheeseburgers will rival any other home cooking place. I have yet to try anything that I didn't love. This is truly a restaurant to visit and become a regular. The owners cater to you and welcome you into the family with open arms. So happy Mayos is in my town.
After several months of thinking about stopping in Mayo's, I finally did. The location being next to my gym has hindered me stopping. I normally don't eat fried foods after a workout but today was my husbands birthday; therefore, his choice. Good choice! The loaded smoked sausage sandwich, hot hot wings, hamburger and onion rings were great. Not all my food, by the way. We shared. My favorite was the smoked sausage. Definitely a good local place to try and revisit.
Ok there is not much of an atmosphere here and you walk up to order so drop those expectations. But if you're in the mood for a good cheeseburger you should try this place. No, it's not going to be one of the top five you've ever had but very good. They are made to order. I could hear it sizzling from the dining area. Give them a shot.

Small restaurant but good Chinese options. Good place for a quick lunch. Off hwy 70. Easy to find
Nothing too mind blowing here. It did fulfill the Chinese craving that we had so I guess that is a-ok. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have too many options for Asian food in the big A-town so I guess this one will have to do. The staff was friendly, the food was ready when they said it would be and the price reasonable. Parking is hideous because of its location near Kroger and the restaurant could be a little cleaner.
We still frequent this restaurant, so much, that when my wife starts calling in the order, the lady writing down the order says, this is for MS Paula? We drive past several other Chinese Restaurants to get our food here, and there is a good reason, the food is awesome. Everyone that we have sent here is hooked and will only go here for then on. Their house fried rice is the best, and all their other dishes are great too, but we love their rice. When we buy, we buy enough to last a couple of days, and it is as good the second and third time as it is the first. They are very friendly and the prices are reasonable, still going after 5 years!

Wow so much food for a low price. The fried rice is too good.
Obvious jokes aside, this place is just fine if you want to pick up some Chinese and are local to the 64/40 Junction. One thing I would suggest is that they have some different sauces for the meals. The vegetables stir fried into the different dishes are all in the same stock so if you get multiple dishes they can seem really similar (just with different meats) This can make the meals bland. For instance there was little difference between Cashew Shrimp and Chicken Lo Mein... apart from noodles and chicken in one and shrimps and cashews in another. No gastral distress either. 7/10. :)
Wang Garden is your solid go-to Chinese restaurant if you live around the Lakeland/Cordova area. I try to order something different each time, and I've never been disappointed. Curry chicken tonight was excellent and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. A huge bonus is their health department score - it's always in the mid nineties. For sushi, I go up the street to Red Fish. For Chinese, Wang Garden always wins.

From New York City I really missed my pizza. If you're looking for authentic tasting pizza this is the place to go. We ordered the Big Rizzi pizza to share. Sausage and onions and peppers, Oh My! The cheese almost slid off the pizza (which is always a sign of a good NY pizza). The crust was thin and crispy. It was easy to fold and eat properly. The pub part was closed since it was lunch time on Sunday but I'd love to come back and check out the live music sometime.
Good food, love the Newyork style pizza, & lasagna.
Since moving to Arlington I have decided to try and eat locally this is my second time eating at this restaurant and as much as I would like to give them four or more stars I can't! I ordered the lobster ravioli and it taste like canned salmon and as for garlic bread look at the picture!!!
