Met up with some friends from Rapid City. They wanted to go to Easyriders, but it was closed. Sign said open 11 AM to 9 PM, but the building was locked up tight. So we walked across the street to Rosco'z. Wife and I had the Bacon Cheeseburger. Mine was great although a little small. My wife said hers was burnt a little to much. But then she order it well and I ordered mine medium. Waitress was Jaclyn F. She was the only waitress there. She was also clearing, cleaning tables and running the cash register. Did a great job.

Heard about the great chili on TV. Got there, seated ourselves as directed. Waited 10+ min for a menu, waitress says she'll be back for our drink order, waited 15 min more, still no drinks ordered. If it was super busy it would be understandable, it wasn't. As we departed without food or drink the waitress tells us sorry she can only do so much. Maybe try it again in a year or so.

My son and I visited South Dakota to check out the school of Mines. Of course I wanted to visit Sturgis. We arrived on a sunny April day and Sturgis was a ghost town. We had the Harley dealership to ourselves. Got the appropriate t-shirts and shot glasses and then I asked the help where they would eat lunch. The said Indian Tacos at Rosco'z is pretty good. Okay, moto museum and then Rosco'z it is. So, the 4 stars? Their beer selection wasn't what I expected for a biker hang out. I tried several different sud selections, but none of it really did it for me. The Indian tacos, my son and I both ordered them, arrived. The plate looked somewhat appetizing. The taste and satisfaction of the tacos were excellent. The taco shell is a type of light pita bread type recipe. Hard to explain. It was good and satisfying. I marked the place as quiet. I doubt during the August rally, there is any quiet corners in Sturgis.

I ordered a burger deluxe and the meat was soooooooo dry it was hard to swallow, Left most of it on my plate. My husband ordered flat iron steak medium rare and it was well done. It was also a very strange cut. Not sure if it was a flat iron steak at all. I would not go there again. Our waitress was very attentive. She was the best part of the whole experience,

Waitress was great! Food was ok. I haven't found anything amazing in the Black Hills but this was probably my best meal. Be sure to order the cajun fries!

Stopped for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. I had a double cheeseburger and salad and my wife had southwest chicken fajita sandwich. Both were very good and the service was also excellent.

Love this place always good . Every time I'm in Sturgis this is the place we eat . The staff is always cool and the service is hands down one of the best around .

The food was ok. We had chicken fajita sandwich and I would say the chicken is pretty low quality. Decent beer selection but tap beer was not cold. Waitress was nice.

Came in cause we had heard rave reviews on Tv. The menu is scaled down for rally week ( which is understandable ) Got in right away. Waited 50 minutes for our food. My husbands chicken strips were RAW ! My filet = OVER cooked ( their take on a loaded baked potato = butter & packaged sour cream. Cheese & bacon NOT available ) Needless to say we DIDN'T eat dinner that night. WOW, what a disappointment this place was. It's not like it was their first rally................

Do not eat here during the rally! We were there in July. They weren't very busy, but the service was incredibly slow. The food was pretty good, but not worth the wait. The staff was a little rough and could use some training. The waitress that set down our drinks picked up the glasses with her hand directly over the entire rim of the glass. I highly recommend using a straw!

Everything thing was great until my steak I ordered medium rare came medium well. I ask the server about it and she said I could send it back and get one done the way I wanted. So I did. She returned to my table with my original steak cut in half by the cook saying the cook said it is medium rare. Really? I was shocked! Instead of arguing I just ate it. Expressed my displeasure and received a 5% discount. LOL unbelievable, don't eat here.

Great service despite busy Sturgis Rally, with good cold beer selection, and the best buffalo burger in all of South Dakota.

Loved the chili and they had damn good coffee! I was surprised at how good the coffee was. It's slightly off the main drag of downtown Sturgis but still across from some likely craziness judging by the scaffolding, sound systems, and paraphernalia assembled all around.

The food's decent, but overpriced. The service is good, but somewhat disjointed. God help you if you go when it's busy.

Rosco'z bills itself on the sign outside as a steakhouse. So, I got the 12oz Rib Eye, shrimp, baked potato, and dinner salad. First, I received the dinner salad. The first clue things were off was the pre-packaged blue cheese dressing. Not only was it served like it came from McDonald's but there wasn't a single lump of blue cheese in it. Next, my dinner came. The steak looked as expected but, I bit into it and it was completely unseasoned. I mean, nothing. No salt, no pepper, no anything. I asked the waitress about it and first she says that it's so you can taste the natural flavor of the beef. Uh, ok. Funny, I ate at Craftsteak in Las Vegas three weeks ago and Tom Colicchio feels you should season a steak! The waitress comes back and then tells me she asked the chef about it. His response was that they never season any of their steaks because some people can't have salt. Then she offers me A1 Steak Sauce to add injury to insult! Is this ridiculous reasoning to anyone else? I mean, if I'm lactose intolerant, I'll tell the waitress and ask about non-dairy options. As a customer, I don't want my meal to be limited to "other peoples" dietary limitations. Next, I went to dress my baked potato. They gave me sour cream in squeeze tube form. Again, like something you'd get at Burger King. I figure I'll fall back on the shrimp. Oh wait, there is cocktail sauce that...you guessed it, was pre-packaged, low grade, and in a container like you'd get ketchup at a fast food restaurant. The service was good but that was the high point of the meal. Unfortunately, this place is a pretty terrible place if your looking for fresh, well prepared food.

If you are ANYWHERE near Sturgis, you MUST give this a try. We'll remember our evening there fondly when we get back home to Seattle. NINETEEN STARS out of 5!!!! This was really our first GREAT experience on a cross-country trip. The food was AMAZING - fresh Buffalo and beef used in their meals. Very fairly priced for the portion size. The service earns them the additional 14 stars though. Not only did we get dessert (the last time I remember buying dessert at a restaurant, Clinton was president), but it was amazing. Not only was it amazing, but an off-handed remark got a personal, hand-written recipe from the fantastic lady that baked it. I don't live in SD, but if you are reading this review you absolutely should go. Now. Thank you, Rosco'z! Hope to be back soon!

Not impressed. Service was OK, food was adequate...nothing special. It's ok for something quick if you're not looking for pizazzz. I'd try someplace else if I were ever in Sturgis again.

We were disappointed in the food that we ordered and decided that we wouldn't return again.

Rosco'z has some of the best chili around. Add cheese, onions and jalapenos and you have yourself a tasty bowl. A great spot for lunch, complete with salty staff.
