Swoon! I wish we spent more time in Spearfish so I could hang out at the Green Bean like a local. The coffee was aromatic and bold; it had great bite, great dark, and great nutty all in one mug. Very good. And the pastries must be made in house. You think you've had a bagel before and then you taste one of their vanilla nut bagels. It wasn't the cream cheese that stole the show - it was truly the bagel. So carby good! There's an outdoor patio and a little play area for the kiddos out on the grass. Bring a book or your lappy and hang out here a bit on their high top tables or plush couches. I could spend some lazy days here for sure.

Driving through the area. Stopped to have a bite. Didn't expect much, but this place was great. Great coffee, food, service, and the place is very cozy.

Five stars just because the use Kaladi coffee which I think is the best all around. Service was very good and my latte was steamed perfectly! I was sad when my cup was empty! Our oatmeal and breakfast bagel were quite good too. Lastly, their venue is really nicely shaded outdoors and coffee house eclectic inside.

This is our first and only spot to get coffee whenever we are in Spearfish. We usually get our coffee to go then head over to the D.C. Fish Hatchery for a nice stroll. The ambiance of this coffee shop is very relaxing with outdoor seating as well. I love their dark brew the best. My boyfriend got an Americano this time and he really liked it. Their panini sandwiches look really good too.

Love to go there and use their internet. Great Woodstock wrap, hummus and cashews! Kids love the smoothies

We are giving this business a four only because the hot chocolates need a bit more chocolate in them And needed to be stirred a little bit better. My nephew was disappointed and said his tasted just like warm water. But the prices were incredibly reasonable, the tea and the scones were really delicious. Everyone also loved their muffins and the ambience.

Wonderful! Excellent coffee and the best panninis we have ever had. Service was friendly and helpful. I'm not crazy about the pre-tipping, however.

Family was vacationing in the Black Hills - found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Very good iced coffees/lattes, and as a previous reviewer wrote - very good paninis. Thanks Yelp!

Visited here because our hotel just off of I-90 didn't have breakfast. This cafe/coffee shop is super cute. Lots of different seating options, breakfast and lunch foods. Would come again if we happen to be in Spearfish again soon!

Very quaint little place. House converted to a coffee shop and done well. Nice nooks everywhere to enjoy you're coffee. Great friendly staff and tasty coffee. There is also a drive through! Worth a stop for coffee even if you're passing through town.

We only bought espresso drinks which were carefully made. The quality of the coffee was very good. There is also food available. What really sticks out is how really pleasant the building and atmosphere are. It is worth a visit even if you're not a coffee drinker.

Found this coffee shop while driving across country. This place has a trendy decor inside a country-style home exterior. From the array of baked goods to the chalk-board hand-written menu and coffee labels, there's just a great ambiance. There are multiple rooms each with their own personality and suitability given your party or mood. The coffee was very good (although I'm comparing with great shops in Seattle where everyone can make a great espresso-based drink) and the food was decent. The breakfast sandwich was standard-fare with a microwaved egg, cheese and a decent croissant. The muffin was also decent. 4 stars for awesome ambiance. 3 stars for the food. - Vegetarian Yelper

Checked Yelp for a place to eat in Spearfish on our way to Wyoming. This was rated number 1. Great lunch spot. I had the Ruben and my husband had the Cowboy, both were great. Flavored teas hit the spot. Locals love it, you know it's good.

Stopped while touring the area based on prior reviews- and you guys were right! Fantastic breakfast croissant sandwiches, best I've ever had. Great house coffee. It looked like this is a popular place among locals, and usually that means some wait time. Our food wasn't instant, but you could tell the employees were hustling, the turnaround was quick and the service very friendly

We saw this cute little place while passing through town and stopped by for lunch. I had the Sassy Cowgirl (I think that was what it was called), a chicken salad with grapes, pecans, etc. It was excellent. My husband had a club sandwich and a mocha. He said the mocha was great, and he's picky. I had drip brew Peruvian coffee and it was also awesome. But, the highlight of our trip was the cinnamon roll. Holy cow, that was good. It was slathered in icing and served warm. My husband and I fought over it. :) The pleasant atmosphere and great food were worth the trip. And the food was filling enough to stick with us for our hike afterward.

Met friends here even though I'm not a coffee drinker, but it's in a old home and there are tables and chairs everywhere to lounge in and read or surf the internet. Definitely a cool place, but can't comment on the coffee-tea was good though so my 5 stars is for the atmosphere
