Not many choices here in Murdo. It was passable. Busy on a Thursday night. I think most were travelers like ourselves. I had steak bites with onion rings. Husband had special...1/2 rack ribs. All in all decent meal but not anything to write home about.

Good food, I was a little nervous finding a good place to eat in murdo but their burgers are great, nice charbroiled flavor cooked great and it hit the spot!!

Don't waste your time! Food was mediocre. Steaks were tough, fried food was greasy... They only saving grace was the waitress was sweet & personable!!

Very cute place . The reviews were scary but our camper was at the bottom of the stairs and it was off season so there was no where to go! The inside was brite and clean with adorable western decor! We sat at the bar and ate at the bar. The bar tender was very attentive. The burgers and steak were great , fries could have been cooked more. Very very nice people at the bar to chat with! The place filled up. We had a very nice plain meal at a fair price. It was fun and we walked out smiling! Very very cute joint !!

Don't let the outside fool you. This place might look better than the other eating establishments in town, but it is awful. When we walked in the door every local in the place stopped talking, turned and stared at us. Not a warm welcome. It's barely a restaurant, more of a really large bar. But the crazy thing is their menu. It is extremely limited. And the prices were outrageous!!!! I have no problem paying a lot for great food but it pisses me off to pay a lot for awful, overpriced, dried out, greasy and gross food. The staff was scary too. Please stay away from this place.

Wow Murdo has some disturbing bar side eateries; this place is no exception. If your looking for a place where you have to ask for every drink in a nearly empty bar, this may be your place. Equally as fun was the fact that I got the last of the Sure Fine steak sauce, I mean they had one bottle in the restaurant, and it was empty. With the steak I had, that stuff was priceless. If you decide to stop by, good luck!

There are not a lot of restaurants with bars to pick from, so this place might be the best you can do. My steak was tasty, but the side of mushrooms was canned. The salad was out of a bag and the dressing came in a plastic pack (as did the butter, crackers, etc. - when things all come individually wrapped that always indicates to me that the management is cheap and not wanting to do anything fresh that will needed to be tossed). I thought the cost of my dinner was fairly expensive, too. I know not to expect any decent wine in a place like this, but I'm always hopeful. Unfortunately their selection was limited to one brand that came out of small bottles (individually wrapped!). Stick with a cocktail which are adequately poured. Unlike other reviews, I wasn't overly impressed with the decor. I didn't mind that all the locals turned to look at us when we walked in and there was a talkative cowboy guy at the bar who did look and sound like he was out of the movies that was kind of cool. But overall, I can't recommend this place. I think management knows they're one of the only options in town and doesn't go out of his way to provide quality.

Felt like we were the proverbial out-of-towners walkin' into the local saloon. Made the mistake of trying to draw the bartender out in conversation; she quickly launched into overshare. Food a little on the disappointing side.
