I think this place is great best omelet I ever had and I couldn't finish it.. Fast and friendly service... A gem on I-90

The five star reviews, are no bueno. The food I had on my way to Rushmore was typical truck stop hash. I had a Philly Cheese Steak and I am sure that the person making this sandwich for me has no idea what a real Philly cheese steak looks like or how it is prepared. None the less my gf's hamburger was really good. Quality meat and just a tasty burger. Service could be better, but it's Kimball, SD. Three stars is the best I can do.

Stopped here for breakfast along our journey on I-90. Very unassuming as it is connected to a gas station. Waitress was friendly, lots of breakfast items on menu. I got the $5 breakfast for $5.30 . Scrambled eggs, toast and hash browns. All good. Others got biscuits and gravy, an omelet, and French toast. Everyone's meals were good. Total was $30+tip for 4 people. Only small issue was it took a little longer than usual for the food to come out. Not a huge deal, but if you're in a hurry, be aware.

This has become our family tradition "meal stop " for about a year now. We stop on our way to Sioux Falls and then on our way back to Rapid City. Always excellent, friendly service and high quality food. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great meal right off I-90.

Family and I just ate breakfast at the Ditty Diner. We were not disappointed by any means. We got a lot of food for the price and it was great tasting. I highly recommend the cheddar baked hash browns.

The food was excellent. Quality buffalo burger and scrumptious ditty philly sandwich. The meat was well cooked and seasoned. The only con was we waited for a while to find a table and get the menu due to busy period. Would recommend it.

Generous servings, typical all-America menu and truck-stop food. Was passing through on 90 and thought we'd use Yelp for suggestions. Was a bit disappointed given all the rave reviews.

An interesting place with a story. Have to love those. It was a pleasant surprise to find this place given our search for restaurants between long stretches of country. The restaurant was clean and modern, the food and service were decent. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy which I was told was excellent, and it was good, but not excellent. It was worth the stop and added a nice memory to our trip.

Ditty Diner is excellent so excellent that we meet the chefs Terry & Cheryl. We saying how great the food was and when they weren't busy came out and talked to us. Erica our server was also great.

Not very good food or service. Not one of the places to stop along I-90 in SD, there are some other truck stop diners that are much better!

Being from Boulder, CO, a vegetarian and a very picky eater make road trips difficult, especially driving through America's heartland. We saw the sign for Ditty's alongside of I-90 and decided to give it a go. I am so happy we stopped here! I even had trouble narrowing down my menu selection, something that hasn't happened since we left home. The service was friendly and fast and the ambiance was perfect for a roadside diner; you wouldn't even know it was attached to the gas station if you didn't have to walk thorough the store to get in the diner. The food was great, I would definitely recommend the "cheddar baked hashbrowns" to anyone. We didn't have a chance to try lunch, dinner or dessert, but it all looked good-especially the milkshakes, and are all available 24hrs a day. All in all, a great experience and I will be back if I am in the area again.

This diner was a great place to stop by. The prior reviews led me to stop and it was well worth the stop. I would stop in again if I am ever in the area. Great food and service! Keep it up Ditty staff! FYI for yelpers, it's located inside the ConocoPhillips station

Easy location right off I-90. We had the chicken club, Cuban, French dip, and the cheeseburger. All were very good - the Texas toast on the Cuban was excellent and the chicken club was perfectly cooked. Kasi provided great service and the diner interior was nicely laid out.

Stopped for lunch. Hot beef sandwiches were huge and good. Double cheeseburger was good as well (although I wish they included onion). Good little hole in the wall place.

This place is so cute and very diner! Great service & a good local stop on the long I90 route through SD. My goal when on vacation (& most of the time to be honest) is to patronize as many (non chain)local establishments as possible and this was one of those times when it's fun to do just that!

Greasy-spoon faux-50's diner with hit or miss service. Had a pizza order that had to be put in again when we arrived for pick-up because it had never been put in.

Really great unexpected stop! Service was friendly and food was genuinely good and affordable. The funny "snobby waitress" billboards on I-90 drew us in, but the grilled meatloaf sandwich will bring me back whenever I find myself in South Dakota next!

I'm originally from White Lake, SD & now drive over the road for a Sioux Falls company. I was there last night & had a ribeye dinner. Wow, it was fabulous, cooked to perfection!!! I also like strong coffee in the morning, & they have that as well with some of the best carmel rolls I've had. Sorry Mom! LOL!! Keep up the good work, great food, I will make this one of my regular stops.
