The food and service was Eccellente! Chicken cacciatore, shrimp scampi and pizza were really good. Rare find for this town.

Fast and friendly service with great food. The presentation is a little unpolished, but what else can you ask for?

The food was not bad but we had a few customer service issues. I ordered the angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and got spaghetti with marinara sauce. My sister ordered something shrimp and sausage pasta without onions and got it with onions. When the server (also possibly a manager) saw this, he said, 'oh, you push out because it is very little onions, we have a big wedding upstairs and they must forget to take out the onions. You push them out.' As if that wasn't bad enough, when we asked for the check the same man went to get it and yelled from about six feet away to ask if we were paying cash or card. He then motioned for my sister to bring it over to him at the register. I was kinda all set at this point, as the restaurant itself is really not that big and it is not my fault he booked a wedding party that was stretching him thin. Oh, and the food took nearly 45 minutes to come out. We didn't have apps or anything and again- the place is not that big! I would pass- the food was not so good that i'd do that all over.

This was a nice Italian restaurant with decent food at decent prices. The bread prior to the meal was good and the service was attentive. The three of us had chicken parmesan, shrimp ravioli and a chicken/eggplant/mozzarella dish (forgot the proper name). All were tasty and all had generous portions. This town is pretty small so it was nice to see a non-franchised restaurant doing well.

We were a little nervous being the only ones in the restaurant. But as soon as our waitress brought fresh focaccia, our fears were eliminated. The room was unique - very "Italian." The food was very good, if not a bit Americanized.

What a fun place to eat. I ordered a glass of cabernet, the salad with artichokes and lemon dressing and shared a small pizza with mu husband. The only thing missing was the anchovies they didn't have. I definitely recommend this place!

Delicious! Warm, fresh bread as a complementary starter, and lasagna, manicotti and cannelloni all fantastic. Homemade pizza also really good with freshly thrown dough. Good, quick service too.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
