Mary Ann's is a Sumter Lunch Staple. I like the roast beef sub with a side of tangy pasta salad. Their sweet Tea is like crack, and you're bound to see a collection of familiar Sumter locals at their tables any time you go. My mom likes the Dieter's special. Honestly, though, my whole reason for going is always the pasta salad and sweet tea.

Not really quite a deli, but it is a decent sandwich shop. If you go too late they tend to run out of some things. The egg salad is pretty good.

I drive past this restaurant everyday on my way to work, so when my coworker and I were looking for somewhere new to eat I suggested here. I was not super disappointed, but I was not impressed. From the outside appearance of the restaurant I was stunned with how crowded it was, so in all fairness before I write my complete review... maybe I ordered poorly? The decor was cute, but definitely a little out dated. They had a few specialty sandwiches you could choose from or you could make your own. The sandwich I ordered was fine, but to be honest, I felt like I could have made a better one at home. I had pasta salad as my side, which had the consistence of pasta soup? I would say it is worth eating at if you are looking for somewhere cheap and serves sandwiches.

Great place for a quick lunch at a good price. Sandwiches and soups are great. The staff is always courteous.

Maybe it's just me, but if you call yourself a deli then I would expect you to know how to prepare a sandwich. I had a reuben today, and I don't mean to pick at nits but the corned beef was sliced too thick and there was almost no sauerkraut. A reuben is supposed to be put together and then grilled, but this was prepared individually and then put together which made it taste just that way -- thrown together. Looking around, everything else looked the same. Just a sandwich(es) that would look the same if it was prepared at home. The tea was a little weak, but all the people were right nice. Not a whole lot of diners but there was steady traffic in-and-out with call-in and pick-up orders. The food wasn't bad, per se, but I had higher expectations going in. I'd call it a sandwich shop, not a deli. I'll probably go back sometime to try the chicken salad (their best seller).

This is a cool little restaurant located in a small shopping plaza that is great for a quick lunch. They have a large variety of soups and sandwhiches available in a "pay up front & seat yourself" atmosphere. The corned beef on rye is incredible.
