I come here at least a couple of mornings each week to get a donut for my wife and I for breakfast. The donuts are always fresh. They also have a donut, bacon, and egg sandwich that is really good.

Really awful. I love DD but this was a horrible, horrible location. When we walked in, 1 employee was behind the counter, doing nothing, and the other was sitting down drinking iced tea. The floors were filthy and the bathroom was dirty. It took over 10 minutes to order 4 wake up wraps, a flatbread and 2 coffees. The employee fixing the wraps rolled her eyes constantly, every time we added another item. The employee fixing our coffee had to ask twice what we wanted in our coffee, even though she had personally just taken our order, immediately before walking over to fix our coffee. Another customer walked in behind us (sorry, man) and had to wait until they competed our order before they took his order. He stood there for most of that time without even an acknowledgement that he was waiting. Not up to usual DD standards in any way. Find somewhere else to eat.

Stopped in to get some donuts before work. The donuts tasted like they had been sitting there for a few days. Yikes!

This dunkin donuts in Sumter is very good at using equal opportunity to find employees. There are good at ignoring you, while they chat with their coworkers. The person that does the ordering is obviously proficient with smoke signals, because they always seem to be out of everything. I would definitely recommend this place, if you have absolutely nothing to do, prefer wasting half a day getting breakfast, or are looking to lose your job because you were 45 minutes late. Also, please don't be surprised if it takes 30 minutes for them to acknowledge your presence. Or maybe everyone dresses like the inside of the shop, and they just can't see us. Ps, if you need a nip in your coffee, see the manager, because she's obviously drunk.

You have a 40% chance of getting your order right if you get food. that means for every 100 people, 40 will get their order correct. I've given them many chances over the year and they tend to screw things up over and over again. Apparently literacy is an option with this location. If you ask for something without cheese, get a 9 count hashbrown, etc etc. expect to get cheese with it, a 6 count instead of a 9 count, and the list goes on and on. Drink orders have a higher chance of success but not by much. Takes a longer duration of time to get an order and/or being acknowledge at the counter. They are constantly out of things and it still hasn't been address yet with all these problems. In short, this place would be great and have more customers if they have structure and organization. If you do go here, check your food and/or drink order.

Best thing I can say about this place is that it's on the way to work. I'm from New England which means I hate Starbucks and grew up on DD but I only stop here maybe once every couple months because the service is so slow. It's so bad that, if there's one guy in front of me and he orders a sandwich or a dozen donuts, I'll just turn around and walk out so as not to be late for work. Sadly, I am not joking. Addendum: kids wanted donuts this weekend so I made the mistake of going back. There were 4 people in line and it wasn't moving so I got in the car and hit the drive through. I had a simple order: small cappucino, small BLACK coffee and 3 Boston kreme donuts. Instead of a small black coffee, she gave me a medium. I told her I ordered a SMALL and she got all confused so I asked her if she charged me for a medium or a small and she said a small so I said fine, I'll just take the medium. Get halfway home and take a sip and it was loaded with cream and sugar. Cripes, this place just gets worse and worse...

Employees are rude and very slow to complete an order. Coffees are inconsistent in quality. Seems like they never have a good stock of fresh donuts, which is odd since they are a donut shop. Go elsewhere if you want coffee or a donut.

I love that Sumter finally has another drive thru coffee spot other than McDonalds! Always friendly service here.
