First, there are a few other reviews for Country Fix-Ins but this one has the correct location (SOUTH of Sumter on 15 past the Country Music Barn on the east side). We were expecting a down-home southern food buffet and were not disappointed. We only had room to try half of the food and everything was delicious. The bbq pork and hash were awesome, there were 2 kinds of fried fish that were great, plus fried shrimp that was some of the best I've ever had. They also had pork chops in gravy and grits that I didn't have room on the plate (or in my stomach) to try. The hush puppies and salads were great (they had a potato salad, cole slaw, & carrot and raisin salad). Finally we went to the dessert buffet: a strawberry cake, coconut pie, and an amazing banana pudding. They also had fruit salad that looked great. Oh and the sweet tea was really good, not too sweet, and they brought a pitcher to our table as soon as we sat down. The people there were all really nice, we sat at a long table next to another couple who knew the owners so we got to meet them too. We will definitely go back!
