High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Server Reggie was awesome! Food on the other hand left me wanting more. I had the new chicken bacon padini or pidini, anyway it was ok but it needed more of something like a sauce or something. The vegetables were warmed up but not cook through. My friends burger was soaked in grease. We didn't complain because server was great!!

Food was great, service was awesome. More than anything else, our waiter (Mason) really blessed our family. He's a good, kind Christian who does a great job!

I would avoid this place. Luncheons I've attended here were not awful. The dinner experience on the other hand was bad. Steak was awful and not prepared correctly. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

2.15.13 Hmmm I hope the trash on the kitchen floor is not an indication of the quality of the food... Sadly it is. The drinks were quite weak on the vodka too; the alcohol must be meted out with a teaspoon.

Food here was much improved after Ihop bought Applebees a few years ago, but it has slid back to its earlier lackluster level. Applebees is back on my list of places to just pass by. They have been given too many second chances over the years and failed to deliver.

Going at 11 a.m. when the restaurant opened may have helped the process of good service. After being greeted upon entry, we were promptly seated. Our server came over shortly after to take our drink order. Upon returning with our drinks, he asked to take our food order. One member of our party hadn't decided, so the waiter quietly waited by our table making a few recommendations. Afterwards, he returned once or twice to refill our drinks before bringing our food; all within 15 minutes of being seated. The overall experience was pleasant, to which I had no complaints. To top it off, Applebee's has a menu that can typically satisfy any appetite.

Nope. The Bourbon Street steak dishonors the cow whose life was taken to provide sustenance. The Lime Chicken too, but that bird's days were already numbered. It had cancer. I am not even joking. There was a big ol' tumor in that little chicken breast....It's ok, I am sure the microwaves ablated the disease. If I prepared/served food like this, I would commit seppuku. I wasn't even going to review until I got the bill. Now, you couldn't pay me to eat here again. Nice hostess & ok service.

This place was horrible... We sat our selves at the bar and waited forever to be helped. Once we ordered our drinks it took forever for the bartender to take our food orders. The food was mediocre at best. There was something floating in the drinks... I watched the bartender go back and forth to the cash register and making people's drinks and never washing or sanitizing her hands. She touched all of the fruit with her hands. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This is a chain restaurant so I'd expect better. You would think they would learn they are busy on week nights. As we entered we were seated promptly, but after that service went down hill. Our server took our drink order first and ran off to fetch them. After about five minutes she returned to take our food order. Generally you receive your appetizer first and then your meal. That's not the case here. After 30 minutes of waiting and looking for our server our meal showed up. Then 5 minutes later our appetizer did. Seems this is common practice because the manager was cool about it and we were given $5 off our meal. Our server stopped by our table two times. Once we received our food we never saw her. My husband sat for 10 minutes with an empty glass. Won't be returning here anytime soon.

I give this restaurant five stars for one reason: Jon the waiter. Make sure you ask for him, you won't regret it even if you hafta wait longer. His service rivals those of fancy restaurants. No exaggeration.

Horrible. Went with my boyfriend and parents for dinner. They sat us down and we waited. And waited and waited. Two servers walked right past us for about 10-15 minutes never acknowledging us. Just ignoring us. After about 15 minutes a waitress from across the resturant noticed us waiting and came over to help us. My steak was wrong twice, and since we'd already been there almost 2 hours I didn't bother sending it back a third time. We had to ask for the manager and he seemed to have an attitude and not care about our experience. Will not be returning. If you want to be ignored and be served crappy food go to this Applebees. We will NOT be returning.
