Burgers, fries, onion rings are really good. Last week, there was a new server. Our fries were cold but there was no problem getting them replaced. I've been there about 7x. The service is hit or miss is why they are a 4. The food and drinks are excellent !

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. Place was dead except for bikers who were smoking right next to the open door. They seemed to be more of the staffs friends then actual customers. We got lackluster attitude like we were a burden for coming in. Lots of eye rolling. While we debated what to order we could hear the servers and bartender complaining about reviews from previous guests. We decided to just try the wings and not give these people anymore of our money. They were soggy and bland. This place needs new staff. We will never be back. Oh I see check the not recommend review section that's where all the negative ones went. Interesting

12:30, 3 other customers, lone staff paid us no attention, sat for 5 minutes, still ignored. It was a a no-brainer to walk out, must not have wanted our business.

We get takeout from TJ's every once in awhile. Some of the food is a little bland, and some of it is awesome. My husband and I like the jalapeño burger but their fries are pretty boring in comparison. I also like their chili but a cup is more like a small ramekin... Don't think we'd ever eat in- except maybe for Trivia night (which seems fun) since service is not the best.

This place was recommended by a friend. We came for dinner around 7:30 on a Friday night. It was pretty empty. We were a little puzzled by this since you would think Friday night would be busy. We ordered 3 sandwiches/burgers and a few sides. The way the server took our order made it seem like one side was included with each sandwich/burger (she would say, "And for your side?). But of course when we got the check we were charged for each side. That seems a little deceptive, and after we ordered we had discussed (at our table) if the side was included and we all thought because of the way she asked (instead of saying "would you like to add a side) that it was included. So that was a bit disappointing. But the food is good and I would say the service is fine, but who knows how it would really be if there was more than one or two tables occupied...

Went there for lunch. The Pulled Pork sandwich was great. The BBQ sauces are amazing. Cold beers, and a friendly bartender. Who gave us lots of useful info for us being new to town. We also signed up to be VIPS. We will go back. Great atmosphere.

New name...new sign...same amazing food and friendly people! I adore this family friendly restaurant! My son loves drawing TJ the Bull on the children's menu. I know it's a BBQ place, but try the flounder sandwich. It's my favorite. :-)

My boyfriend and I went here for brunch yesterday, and I had the Breakfast Burger. Simply wow. The burger was cooked perfectly and it was an exquisite combination of burger, fried egg and cheese. I will certainly be back for this one! I also had a cup of chili, and it reminded me of my great grandmother's - so kudos to this restaurant!

I have eaten here once before and the service was good and the food mediocre. I figured I would give it a second chance, but they went off the deep end this time. I have never given a one star rating before and as a former food/bev industry worker, I do not give it lightly. This was the worst experience I have ever had. We came here for dinner and to watch the Carolina game, and having eaten Army chow for lunch, any decent food would have pleased us. Needless to say, it was a night of utter disappointment. We came in and sat at the bar and started off with some beer. Two of us had two different beers, and both of them were flat. If "Brew" is in the name of the business, they should at least get that part right. Another guy had a vodka club and the other had a bourbon coke and both complained about how weak each drink was weak. We all decided to go with bottled beer after that, and upon ordering, we were told, and I quote, "It's going to be a while because somebody didn't do their f**cking job and restock the cooler." Extremely unprofessional. We then ordered the appetizer sampler, and though the food tasted alright, it was all sitting in a pond of grease. After that, we ordered our main courses. When the food came out, my order was wrong, and when I asked to get the correct sides, I was told, "Go figure the kitchen f**cks up another order." Strike two on unprofessionalism. Everyone was disappointed with their food. I had the meatloaf that was exquisitely described in the menu but the only flavor to the dish was the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. The meat had no flavor. The sweet potato fries were bland, and the slaw tasted like mayo and cabbage. Nothing else. After that, one of our party cashed out and went home. From there we decided to keep it simple for the rest of the game. A bucket of beer. We're enjoying the game, trying to forget the food we ate, but I couldn't help but hear the table behind us complaining about how long their table of three was waiting on their food and how the service was lacking greatly. We were not alone in our suffering. We decided we would just go home for the second half and asked for our bill, the total split three ways. It took approximately fifteen minutes to get the bill, and when it came, the order of our fourth member (who already paid for his meal and drinks) was on our bill as well. Strike three, but it's not even close to being over. We sent the bill back to be corrected, and after the manager came out to assist, the bill still came out messed up. One bill was $50, and the other two about $20 each. That is not $90 split three ways evenly. We asked for them to be corrected again. After running our cards for the third time, we receive our receipts and are signing them when we realize that my name and card is on two of them. Fantastic. We tell the manager and he reprints the receipts for a fourth time. This time, my friend's bill is still $10 over. The manager says f**k it and gives him a $10 bill and apologizes. Really!?! I have seen meals comped for an overcooked steak, and after all of this, nothing is comped. I don't go out looking for free food, but this service was not anything close to $90. We eventually gave up and left feeling used, abused, and severely paranoid about what our bank statements will say tomorrow. We were not the only ones to have a bad experience, and I do not see this place staying for long (they only opened this summer). I hate to see small business go, but I would advise everyone to go somewhere else. Summerville has much more to offer.

I love BBQ, so when someone suggested this place, i just had to go. I must say I was impressed. The smoked wings were awesome. I had the ribs and brisket with the smoked mac & cheese. I loved it all...There were 4 in my party and everyone loved everything. I don't usually like beans in my chilli, but the chilli was so good, I did not mind the beans. All in All the food was fantastic and can't wait to go back. Our waitress was excellent, and the manager came out to check on us. You can never go wrong with excellent food and excellent service.

This place had an attentive staff who helped give us a great first impression. The food was good, but not great. They have a few nice staples in their beer selection overall, but their beer menu would be improved drastically by adding more craft selection. With that being said, the beer selection is still above average for this area. It's a great place to meet for drinks and appetizers, and perhaps dinner every now and then. We live close and will be returning for a couple of Chimay Whites and the buffalo chicken dip.

Everything was really good, staff was extremely friendly and made recommendations in what was really good on the menu. My only suggestion would be too add some more side items like sweet potato casserole, hash, etc.
