Portions are small re: salads, lettuce is fairly inexpensive but she why they're so small. Kids meals are pretty filling.

I am all about some Panera, but this location has got to change some things. The set up is awful. The parking lot is small, the drive thru lane/line blocks half of it and the spots are so tiny. The inside of the building itself is also set up in a terrible way. It is one of the smallest Panera's I have ever been in and they crammed so much stuff inside. Trying to find the ordering counter was tricky, as you had to go toward the back and around the corner to see it. I felt like I was in everyone's way when I was walking up to the counter, ordering, waiting for my order and then trying to leave. The service was bleh. Usually Panera employees are peppy and make you seem welcome in their store, but I felt a disconnect here. I think everyone was focused on the drive thru more. I get it, they want it fast, but dedicate employees to the front counter and others to the drive thru. Don't have the front counter people grabbing you things for drive thru and delaying my ordering because you need their help. I knew exactly what I wanted and said it when I went up, but I had to repeat each thing because she couldn't really figure out what I wanted. (Half/Half, soup & salad- easy! I even told her the side of an apple would be fine and no drink) She asked me what side and what drink after I stated each. Waiting for my food (to-go order) was interesting. I saw my order up on the screen, but drive-thru orders were priority and then an ordering ahead order was placed and that took priority. I understand that I went inside, but still. I am also a customer waiting and had a to-go order, so that should say that I don't have all the time in the world to sit and wait. The food was okay. Something tasted a little off with the soup, which is weird because I get the exact same thing at all Panera locations and they all taste fine. This one was just weird. I'm not sure why. I probably won't go to this location again and will continue to use the North Charleston or West Ashley one.

So let me start off by saying I LOVE panera bread. Their prices are a little high, but it's worth paying extra for healthy fresh food. The portions at this location are absolutely ridiculous though. I wouldn't recommend going through the drive thru if you're ordering a salad. They are extremely stingy when it comes to chicken and salad toppings. I paid almost $15 for a BBQ chicken salad and a green passion power smoothie that was only 2/3 full. I have no idea why I keep coming back :(. The panera in North Charleston is much better! I've never had an issue with sandwiches though. I would recommend going across the street to Newks or Atlanta bread if you can help it.

I've been to Panera before, but this location was very disappointing. I found a hair in my soup and when I asked to change it they gave me a smaller portion. meh

I love Panera but this Panera is terrible. The service is slow and on top of taking 10 minutes to figure out how to punch a grilled cheese into the system, all of the food came out wrong. STAY AWAY.

Came here on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. Store is small and dark. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad to go and specifically asked for the dressing already on the salad instead of those stupid dressing cups. Anyways, they didn't put the dressing on top and gave me 3 tiny cups instead. Disappointing. Side baguette was cold. Salad was pretty good but barely had any dressing. Wouldn't be my first choice..

It's no Atlanta Bread, but it's the next best thing. My new favorite is the pick two with a turkey bacon bravo sandwich and the broccoli cheddar bread bowl. I'm in love!

Love Panera! But not too keen on this location... It's always uncomfortably cold and my last order, strawberry poppyseed chicken salad, came to me WITHOUT the chicken! I had to go back to counter where he then pulled a bag of chicken out of the cooler and dumped it on top of my salad. Not a good impression to leave with a customer...

BBQ Chicken salad was good. Its a quiet, clean, and peaceful place to eat. Customer service was quite knowledgeable and informative.

The fact that this is the first Panera Bread that I have ever seen with a drive-thru got me pretty excited. The portion size and quality of food did not. I guess Panera Bread has just been a fast-food place disguised as a cafe all along, it just took a drive thru to tip me off. I have always enjoyed their sandwiches and soups but tonight I feel like I just gave them my wallet and they gave me an IOU for my stomach. I will skip this location in the future and choose to always dine-in as that will leave the employees without the temptation to stuff small portion sizes and super greasy food in a hidden brown bag. You got me this time drive-thru Panera, but never again.
