Great customer service but the food is subpar to say the least. My ribeye steak was dry and over cooked - - I asked for medium rare. The sweet potato fries were warm considering they should have just came out of the deep fryer. It is a chain steak house and not a prime house either, so I may be a bit harder on them than I should be. The servers and staff go over and beyond to ensure a great customer service experience.

Survival of the fittest, y'all! Screw peanut allergies; you either evolve or die. For what it is, Logan's is a five star steakhouse chain. Sure, I may prepare a better steak, but the atmosphere and service are truly stellar. Tonight, my family sat by the fire while Paul took great care of us. You really can't beat a bottomless tea, steak, & sweet taters.

Shouldn't have to sit at bar for 10 minutes while two ( yes two) bartenders make small talk with regulars and you get to wait. And wait. And wait a lil more. Came in to kill some time before a movie, managed to kill 10 minutes just waiting to order a beer. I don't work on tips, and I do understand that part of the way you retain a good crowd of regulars is to have a good relationship with them- but a good way to keep away new people is to keep them waiting. There's far too many other options in the area, don't waste your time.

Ok Yelp, giving a four-star rating and saying "Yay! I'm a fan" doesn't necessarily mean that I'm an actual fan. With that said... This IS a chain steakhouse. With THAT said, Logan's has actually never disappointed me. My steak has always been consistent, and always good. Exactly what I expect with a $12 sirloin or ribeye. Sides are solid, and salads are really good. Loaded with toppings and piled high! And obviously buckets of sweet tea. Buckets.

Whatever reason but our family always seems to celebrate all good things here! Great food and atmosphere!

Logans, well - its a chain. You get what you would get at any other Logans. The service is usually pretty good, the food isnt horrible, and you get to eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. This location in Summerville is usually pretty packed on the weekend nights, so if you go there on a Friday or Saturday, then expect a wait. The everything salad is definitely delicious. They have recently changed around the menu and it is for the best. Highly recommend the 'alcohol' teas. I also recommend that you only have 1 per hour and half that you are there. It will hit you when you stand up. I promise. For a steak chain, its not bad.

Typical steakhouse atmosphere. Staff were very nice however service was slow. Husband got steak and I got anything and everything salad with salmon... Both were delicious! Peanuts were everywhere so if you have an allergy... Don't come here!

Ribs were delicious and fall of the bone good, but that's about it. The fries were unseasoned, unsalted and meh. Everything tasted very fake and not fresh. They didn't even have whole leaves of lettuce for a bun replacement for my wife's burger since she is gluten free. Service was too bad though, decently fast and nice but nothing exceptional.

Typical American food done pretty well. The prices are average and the food is decent. My friends and I like to meet up for Logan's Tea at the bar from time to time. I've never been disappointed with the drinks, food or service

Just ate there this evening. Had the grilled chicken fingers. They tasted like lighter fluid. My server, Austin was very good. My salad and baked potato were good but don't get the grilled chicken fingers. ************** "9/21/15 It is only fair to update this review. We've continued to come here and the food has improved significantly! Split the 9 ounce filet with my sister. My half medium and her's medium rare. Both of us had baked potatoes. The potatoes were hot, perfectly cooked and fluffy. The skins are salted an yummy if your into them. The steak was stellar for this type of establishment. Both of ours were flawless. A perfect medium and perfect medium rare. And beautifully seasoned. Our server, Christian is absolutely fantastic. We ask for her all the time. She is always cheerful and she really knows what customer service is. She is my favorite server anywhere!

When the peanuts are the best thing to eat, you are in trouble. Service was ok but it doesn't make the food any better when you serve it with a smile. The beer selection, specifically draft beer was terrible. In this day of craft beer and micro-brews your best choices should not be Bud and Miller products. Steaks were fatty, thin, and not very good. I know I am not "At the Ritz", but charred on the outside and raw in the middle is not good. Steak on display in the cooler while you wait looks nothing like the NY Strip they bring to the table Good thing my grandson was with me and didn't finish his chicken fingers. That give me something to eat that resembled food. Won't be going back and "let the buyer beware".

We've been to Logan's several times and most of the times it's very good! There are a few times where we've had issues with our steaks being really fatty. For the most part though we like Logan's. The yeast rolls are great! I'd love for them to serve honey butter with them instead of plain butter. The wait staff is always attentive, their salads are fresh, sides are great and the kids meals offer plenty of options that my three kids always love.

Peanuts and Bread for free and the place has a fireplace. If you like two of those three things then you should give this place a try. Beer prices are good but they don't really push beer at the dinner table which I think they are missing an opportunity. The steaks are prepared well but the quality of what they are buying is not good. If you want a real nice quality piece of meat I would choose Zest Grill as they actually have the best steak in town. If you want a good steakhouse and you think this place is it, you should try Oscar's which is another local favorite. Don't get me wrong there is really nothing wrong with Logan's it's just that if you are wanting a nice meal I recommend looking into one of the more specialized local places to eat. Comparing the Logan's staff to Zest, Mellow Mushroom (chain but really good) or Oscar's is also an area where they do not excel (they have good servers and they have terrible servers) even if you overlook the neon colored t-shirts that the staff wears. I recommend the tall draft beers at Logan's and their bread is delicious! If I am traveling and I want a place that is not going to mess me up I go to Logan's! I put this place way above O'Charlies and close to a Longhorns on the chain restaurant list. This place also plays a good bit of Country music.

This was very similar to Texas Roadhouse, minus the delicious cinnamon butter :P I had never heard of this place until we moved here but I was pleasantly surprised. They had really good food and I loved the huge rolls they give you. The portions are really big as well. I will definitely go again!

Been here once a while back ago. Finally going to finish my review. There was no wow factor to this steak house. Service was not bad. Food was ok. Facilities was average. We have only been here twice and both times joining friends for dinner.

This is another Summerville restaurant that used to be excellent but is headed down-hill. Employees all seem burned out and totally uninterested. You will be met at the door by a gum chomping bubble blowing teen who will promptly ignore your seating request. Food is WAY over-spiced. No matter what you order or how you order it you will receive it blackened. You wind up accepting whatever is brought to your table since it will take forever to correct. They continually serve ice tea that is stale, cloudy and has a strange aftertaste. I question the cleanliness of the ice tea containers. A year or so ago this place rocked. Now ho hum.

Food was as ordered. Service was slow to take orders, food was slow to get to the table. Drink was empty half the night. Still though the food was tasty enough to keep the rating high. The price was good too. 2 large 16 ounce steaks, salads, baked potatoes and a kids steak tips for under $50.

Good food, good price. Their steaks are pretty good and the price is right. Their salads are great and when you top them with steak or salmon - it's a good deal. On top of that they consistently have great music.

I love going to this restaurant. Love the staff, the wait time is usually ok, the rolls are always delicious, the steak is sometimes overcooked but accidents happen. Overall great place!

I didn't care for the bread- tasted undercooked. Husband didn't care for the messy peanuts on the floor, although that's fine, it's kinda their gimmick. Both of us had pretty tasty burgers, for about $20 total. As a warning, the fries are like $1.25 extra and they aren't very good. If you like fresh potato chips, get those instead. Also, the servers looked just fine in their jeans and tshirts. Can't believe a yelper would be that crass...

First visit to a Logan's for me. Ordered the bbq chicken & steak combo with mashed potatoes. Ample portions, good taste, very little wait time. Always nice to have a bucket of peanuts on the table to enjoy before the menu arrives. The hot yeast rolls were great. The outfit for the servers is jeans and a company tee shirt. Nothing wrong with that, as many restaurants do the same. If this is the outfit for the servers, you ought to have servers that don't look horrid in it. I have never seen such a bunch of overweight servers at any restaurant ever. Not too appealing with the server's tee shirt covered flab is rolling over her jeans.

When we were there I didn't know this was a chain, although I should have guessed from the slick menus, annoying chain-like art on the walls, etc. So I ordered the most southern thing I felt like eating on the menu (catfish), whereas my husband and the friends we sat by ordered things like steak. It was soooo much food, and good enough flavor, although the catfish definitely tasted more like breading than fish. It was a good place for a large group get together because there was definitely something for everyone on the menu (unless, of course, you are a vegetarian), and a fun atmosphere to chat with friends in. The only downside: if you're packed in elbow to elbow at a long table, it's kind of tricky to throw the peanut shells on the floor!

When my boyfriend told me that this place gives you peanuts and you can throw the shells on the ground, I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit this place! I absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. We got burgers and salads and they were delicious. On top of it the bread they give you is AMAZING!!!! It is soft and delicious. Just be sure not to fill up on peanuts and bread before you get your meal!

Like throwing your peanut shells on the floor? How about getting into food fights with your kids? Well then this is the place for you. And I didn't mean actual food fights. My husband and kids were throwing their peanut shells at each other. It's like having dinner with 3 kids instead of 2!!! Overall their food is decent and service was really nice. Tends to get really busy on weekend nights. Oh they also have this huge window to the kitchen where the cooks are cookin' up your steaks that you can look through while waiting to be seated.
