This place was amazing, the food is fresh, healthy and delicious, but best of all they give the best of service to those that are terribly allergic to gluten. Our daughter is so allergic that she needs gloves to touch flour. We watched as they made her sandwich on Gluten free bread. The man preparing her sandwich was so careful. He changed his gloves, put fresh paper down so that her bread did not touch any of the previous gluten. Thanks for taking this allergy seriously. She breaks out in a terrible rash, her blood sugars drop and she gets a terrible headache if she eats the tiniest bit of gluten. Once again, thank you for being so careful with our daughters health and giving us a place to eat that we know is safe.

Iama Critic Rating - Jason's Deli - 4 Stars 1450 Wo Ezell Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC Overall: Jason's Deli is a somewhat upscale deli, sitting somewhere between fast food and full-fledged restaurant. It reminds me of Panera Bread except with an awesome salad bar. And it is that salad bar that delights me and makes all the difference. While meager, the salad bar contains top notch items that can be transformed and mixed to create simply amazing new dishes. For instance, after dinner, take a bowl, crush up some tiny banana nut bread muffins into the bottom of the bowl, add some soft serve ice cream, and then dust the top of your ice cream with some chopped dried cranberries and a little nut mix. The combinations you can create are limited only by your imagination. The Service - 0 Star (0% tip) Jason's Deli is a "pay first" restaurant that does provides very limited wait service. Both the drinks and the salad bar are self-serve, which suites me just fine. As such, I consider tipping as "optional" and I find little reason for leaving one. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food: $9.78 1lb Beefeater - 5 Stars This $7.99 sandwich was ordered with an additional $1.79 portion of delightful roast beef! Serve on rye with au jus and cheese this sandwich is a one pound orgasm of flavor! You will be hard pressed to find a better sandwich anywhere! The chips that this sandwich came with are completely boring and pointless by comparison! Seasoned sweet potato fries would have been better, but Jason's does not offer sweet potato fries. $4.49 AYCE Side Salad Bar - 5 Stars The salad bar at Jason's Deli is a single table affair and at first seems quite limited. But if you consider the salad bar items as ingredients, a whole new world of possibilities opens up. You can create countless combinations of amazing dishes. And for under $5 it is a real, all you can eat bargain. And don't forget the ice cream before you leave. $6.59 Mediterranean Wrap - 3 Stars My dining partner and fellow critic ordered this wrap. And frankly, after seeing my amazing Beefeater, he lost all interest in this boring, small, expensive, wrap. Why waste your time ordering stuff like this. He left unsatisfied! Total Bill: $24.68 for two adults including tax and one soda fountain drink. Final Thoughts: I find a lot or reasons to love Jason's Deli, but sadly many of my critic friends and long-time dining partners do not feel the same way. Of course when they order items like a Mediterranean Wrap without the salad bar, I can see why they do not have the same experiences that I have had. Every restaurant has items that are lackluster and boring. Do yourself a favor, order the awesome stuff, get the salad bar, and leave happy! And do not forget to take home a few of those awesome tiny muffins, sure it's probable wrong to stick 'em in your pocket, but sin is fun for a season, and those muffins are devilishly good!

I love this place. Jason's Deli is my daughter's go to restaurant whenever we are in Spartanburg. They may not always get my order correct (no tomatoes due to my allergy) but the managers and the staff actually care about their customers. I love their club sandwiches and the gingerbread muffins are to die for. We are regulars at the Spartanburg location and have been for years now.

Ordered to go from here. Had a hot pastrami sandwich. Did the build your own. Sandwich was good. It was my first time in and the lady at the counter was very nice and answered all my questions with a smile. Would need to sit down in the dinner to give a higher review. Overall, I would recommend the carry out.

Food is okay. But some of the handicap parking is torturous to get over the curb stones and up to the sidewalk. (Maybe you have to be handicapped to understand).

Best service I have had so far in Spartanburg! The food was great too, but I can't get over how friendly the staff is! Lugging my six-month old around in a car seat is not easy, and as soon as I walked in the door, a man (wish I could remember his name) brought me a high chair with wheels, strap my daughter in it and was just as nice as can be! I will definitely be returning and trying more options on their menu. For vegetarians - this place is great. Lots of options. The only complaint I might have would be how crowded the tables are. If this place were full, it would be a very miserable meal.

This is my third time eating lunch at Jason's, all in different southern states. If your not exactly sure what your craving for lunch they have almost everything here. Full service catering, to go and eat in dining with a nice all u can eat salad bar. On this visit I scarfed down the smoked jack panini. Turkey, pepper Jack, guacamole, bacon, Roma tomatoes and Russian dressing on an olive oil toasted panini. I really like the fact that your food is brought to you at the table of your choosing. Aditionally, the manager and staff come around to check if u need anything else. Good service is a bonus.

This place is great. I'm so happy that I finally have a good sandwich place to go to when I visit my family. This place kind of reminds of Paddow's in Charlottesville, VA (I think there are other stores in VA, too). There are a ton of different sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. I had a pastrami on rye with swiss cheese and russian dressing, pressed. It was absolutely delicious. My brother had the bbq pork sandwich and it was also fantastic. My sister is a vegetarian and they have plenty of options for her too. She loves it here. I will definitely be back when I'm in town.

My first visit to a Jasons Deli. The selections here are endless! We all three ordered salad bar, 2 had sides of chicken salad and I had a side of tomato basil soup. Salad bar is really good, love the extras like pasta salad, chocolate mousse, etc. The 2 that had chicken salad said is was a little too sweet for their taste, but that it was good. The soup was chunky and I prefer smooth, but it was yummy! The tea was horrible, which is sad. :( Coke it is. All of the staff were very friendly! I love friendly people...makes me want to come back. :)
