First off the directions take you to the apartment complex, however the diner is right down the street. OMG delicious! The place is old, has leaning tables and booths, probably not the cleanest place, but the food is GOOD! We ordered 2 meat plates w 3 sides for each meat plate and split between 3 people. The food came quick, the service was very friendly and the drinks were cold. The parking lot of was when we pulled in and people continually came and left. It is obviously a local favorite as well.

I'm not against eating in a hole in the wall of the food is good, but that isn't the case here. Just walking in you get the feeling the place is dirty. Diners are serve breakfast all day, right? Right!?! Not this one! Don't even mention breakfast past 11 or you will hear an earth shattering yell from the kitchen. Okay, so you can't get breakfast for lunch, or the best meal of the day, brinner, but the food must be edible? Not unless you like your omelette filled with nacho cheese sauce. I do NOT recommend.

It's a greasy spoon. The food was decent, fresh, nothing to write home about. If you're a germaphobe, steer clear. This place will have you running for the hills. More parking than seating.

One of my favorite restaurants... An incredible meat and three place for Clemson students and those living in the Seneca area. Incredibly affordable, quick and friendly service, and delicious foods has made paws my most frequented restaurant of my life. Go on a Tuesday for Chicken Fried Chicken. If you can't make it on Tuesday aim for a Monday (country fried steak) or Thursday (turkey and dressing). Go any day you can though, you won't regret it!

Agree. Definite lackluster breakfast. At least the portions were huge.

If you are looking for classic diner food, look no further than Paws. The staff are wonderful and make you feel like family, and the biscuits are my favorite around!

Ok I was around when Paw's used to be the Truck Stop Diner. I got to tell you Paws is better! I have always gotten great friendly service. The wait staff treats you like family. While most people comes for the meat and veggies, my family loves the hamburger steak plates with fries and cheese and gravy on everything. While we can't eat like that always when we feel like being naughty we definitely go to Paw's. Whether you are looking for a fantastic breakfast, meat and veggies, big ol' burger or just feel like being naughty Paw's is the place to go! Lot's of food for a great low price.

You get plenty of food for the price! I always leave stuffed and in need of a nap. Quick and cheap! Green beans, patty melt, hamburger steak, strawberry shortcake.. Everything is yummy!

Go and get the meat-and-three. It's great. The breakfast is great, too. Not a place for ambience but who cares when the food is this good, cheap and close to Clemson.

Cheap breakfast. A perfect place to sit and linger over coffee. Don't expect anything fancy-- but you should expect friendly staff and good food!

I'm not one for fried food ... Or diner food really. BUT - a fellow family member took me here to reminisce about his college days (which weren't that long ago...) and enjoy chicken fried chicken. Apparently that is the thing to get - but they only have it on Tuesdays.... I guess I'll be going back! Instead, I had the fried chicken (the northerner in me doesn't know the difference between chicken fried chicken and just fried chicken!) and two sides: fried okra and corn nuggets (which were fried as well) The sides came out lukewarm - so that's why I gave 4 stars. But it was all delicious - the service was good and it's ridiculously inexpensive. I was told the prices hadn't changed in years. Don't judge by the outside - or the inside really- it's good old fashioned diner food - with small town regulars to go with it. Enjoy! Oh - btw - you can apparently sub a side for a dessert ...? GENIUS - and I'll be back to do just that! I heard their strawberry cobbler and/or shortcake is delicious!

Great Southern meals with all the fixin's from this Mom & Pop diner. The atmosphere is homely with mostly friendly staff; however, it does feel slightly dirty (as most diners do to me) and they allow SMOKING inside. Update: No Smoking

Driving past this place on the highway it looks nearly condemned, like a restaurant you haven't seen since the 70s, if you live in a major city. This isn't a destination for out-of-towners, rather a place older locals go to mingle, talk about Clemson Tigers athletics and local politics. This is a place where the waitresses know the guests by first names and know what they are going to order. Locals rule here. The food is Waffle House quality (for breakfast, which is what we had here) and the value is similar. The prices might still be the same as they were in the 70s! This a a perfect spot to hang with locals, get a cheap breakfast and be in and out in 15 minutes if need be. This isn't a place where you are going to get a hardy, high quality breakfast that you'll rave about, but you will leave full and feeling like a local.

Fried chicken on Wednesday's, deliciously accompanied by the star every cobler! Walked away spending about $8 with the tip!

It's ok I guess. The service was fast and friendly. The food... Not so good. We came here after a few friends told us we had to try it. Our meal was cheap. I got a patty melt that was ok. A little dry, but ok. My husband got a rib-eye sandwich. I got grossed out with all the fat hanging off of it. You'd think they would have trimmed it off before serving. Maybe it's a southern thing. The macaroni and cheese we took one bite of and went blech. It's oily macaroni with melted cheese on it. I think Mac n cheese is a hard dish to screw up, but this one was beyond help. Not going here again. I will leave it for the locals.

For a truck stop type deal it's not too shabby. Meat and three is typically pretty good. Service is usually good also and most of the servers make you feel welcome with the exception of one older lady with glasses who is very rude. Hope you don't get her when you go. The hamburgers are below average but again the meat and three is good the drink is included.

The smoking section is not separated well enough from the nonsmoking section or the place is poorly ventilated, but I sat far far away from the single smoker int he joint and walked out smelling like an ashtray. Additionally, the breakfast was just okay. One highlight, though, was that you could get country ham in your omelet or as your side in lieu of regular ham. (I didn't, but I've never seen that anywhere!) So this was a 2-star experience, but, props for the country ham.

We came here for breakfast and were happy that we did. My two-egg breakfast with grits was definitely A-OK. There was toast along with the eggs and grits, and (unsweetened) iced tea to wash everything down. I hope to return -- maybe tomorrow! This was Kevin J.'s recommendation, and it was a good one!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. However, the food was very greasy and the restaurant was full of flies. Probably will not go back.
