My husband and I found this place on Yelp, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try. We've been looking for a nice place, low on cost, and easy with kids. From the moment we were greeted through the door, until the moment we left, the service was top notch! Pizza is to die for! $8 for a small pizza and you can even build your own! Great happy hour prices too...we will definitely be back and will bring out of town guests too!

Service was good, food was good, prices were good. Nothing was amazing. Good, solid restaraunt. Will definitely come back and try other things. We had the alligator bites appetizer which was delicious. I had jambalaya...it was ok. Could've been more spicy. Boyfriend had the shrimp and grits. He liked it. Kudos to the wait staff. Did note they were discontinuing pizza this month.

A fantastic place to eat, I would recommend anything wrapped in bacon. The day I was there, unfortunately the pizza oven is broken, however my fallback steak was still good. Travis is very personable, and the waitstaff was on point.

Vacation time...Our family was looking for good pizza close to our hotel, and this his place had great reviews.. The place was not busy, but they had trouble acomidating our party of six .. The staff was very nice, and the food was good..I would consider returning again, but only with a smaller party.

Travis and his staff are very welcoming and the menu is great. The steak is prepared perfectly and very tasty. Wife usually has the fish and has never been disappointed .

Well, I've been here a number of times. This place changes a lot. Here at the end of Jan 2014, I'm not very impressed. I will leave hungry after spending $19 for my meal. Meat & potatoes - no veggie. I could have "added a salad" for extra $$. I recall complimentary biscuits or garlic bites a few months ago - not anymore. Overall, this is not impressive. It's certainly not filling. However, service was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere here is about the best thing. Based on how often the menu changes, though, maybe wait a few months and it will be a different place - again.

The restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night, which should have been our first clue. The waitress was very unprofessional: did not refill drinks, dirty plates left on the table during the meal, etcetera. The food was good, but not great. I've had much better filets at chain steakhouses for less money. The sides were nothing special. Truthfully, the food wasn't horrible, but the expectation was that it would be exquisite at the prices they charge. The overall atmosphere is also very nice.

The ambiance is great! First time visiting as an out of town guest and was greeted by Travis, and he was welcoming and highly accommodating. Our waitress was impressively patient given the large size of our party. The Dump Truck pizza was delicious and so was the Shrimp and Grits. Salad was made appetizing and fresh! It was an enjoyable experience overall.

Made our first visit yesterday. Was just going to scope it out and have an appetizer and a drink. There were three TV's over the bar with three customers seated there. We were placed in a booth and could not hear any noise from the bar area but could view the TV's if we wanted to. The lighting, noise level and all around ambiance was quite cozy, a bit romantic even. Shawn, the owner came by to chat and showed us around as well as introduced us to Travis, the manager. Travis can talk beer and wine with the best of them and I'm becoming a beer snob. I tried a Gulden Draak beer and loved it! (see rating here beeradvocate.com/beer/pr… We also met Amy, our lovely waitress. We were promptly served water and Amy brought us bread & butter. The table had cloth napkins with our silverware already on them. My wife and I ordered appetizers. I opted for the breaded Gator bites with mildly spicy Aioli and Pineapple chutney sauces. My wife selected Fried Green Tomatoes. The Gator bites were good and I preferred the chutney as a sauce. The fried green tomatoes were prepared perfectly. They were crisp and even all around. Perfect medallions, lightly breaded and crisp. Very pleasing by themselves. They came with a melted, light white cheese which was a nice compliment. They were also draped with a red pepper sauce that very much resembled a marinara. That sauce was great by itself but paired with the fried green tomatoes, it was as though you were having veal parmigiana. We think you need to allow the green tomato flavor to come through. But hey, this is just our personal palates. We were encouraged to have an entree and we agreed to split something. Shawn brought a sample of the Chef's special, a Flank Steak marinated/crusted with brown sugar and Paprika. It was quite tasty and I'm a steak lover but Flank is not my thing and I'd just left the dentist earlier. I'll try it another day. We ordered the Spinach, Feta and Shrimp Pizza. It was delicious but slightly under-cooked in the center. The crust was perfect but the center was not quite done. Shawn and Travis had stopped by to see how we were and noticed the center and immediately opted to provide us with a new one which was cooked to perfection! Just one bite and you're hooked. This pizza melts and melds in your mouth. Your taste buds dance as they swim in the juicy mozzarella, dry feta and then the seafood flavor of shrimp invade your senses. My eyes wanted to roll back in my head. I felt like rubbing it all over my face. It was as good as the best dark chocolate you've ever had. Very rich without being overly filling. Quality ingredients always trump quantity. I will surely take my best friends and family to this restaurant. I'm really looking forward to trying a lot of the other menu items and getting to know the management and employees better. Amy was as good as you'd want in a waitress. Our drinks were consistently refilled without having to ask and we were asked if there was anything we needed by both management and the waitress. Our bill was less than $50 for two drinks, two appetizers and a shared pizza. A Class act all the way around that I highly recommend. And on a side note, as we were leaving, Coach Steve Spurrier from the University of South Carolina Gamecocks football fame, walked in with his lovely wife. I had to ask him, "Coach, Oregon or Ohio State?" To which he responded, "The one that starts with an O." Then continued, "but anyway, I'd like to see Oregon win, since they've never won a national championship. Someone new, ya know? But I think the Buckeyes will win it." A great end to a great evening... I was raised in Columbus, Ohio. A Buckeye through and through! Go Buckeyes!

Delicious!!! I came in on a tuesday night with my wife, we had been here once before... I don't even know where to start..... the service was impeccable. The food under the new chef, AMAZING!!!. I had the lamb chops and she had the prime rib, both were cooked to perfection, plated beautiful and the ambience was perfect. Not to mention this was right before closing yet everyone was friendly and not acting like they were ready to go home like the service you receive from some places. We had the gator bites and the Caribbean shrimp eggrolls as apps. Both were out of this world. GO! GO! GO! Support this restaurant you won't be let down bring your family and friends and blow their minds with this hidden gem of a restaurant.

I've eaten here twice now, and I expect to go back. The service is both fast and friendly. One of the waitresses who served us during my first visit spotted me at the bar during my second visit. She made a point to come over and spend a few seconds continuing the conversation we'd had during my first visit. I can see why the bar was full of regulars. It's nice to be remembered. The beer list isn't huge, but has very good variety. I can't complain when I have all 3 varieties of Chimay to choose from. I didn't find the wine list as impressive. I've had the shrimp and feta pizza and the pork chop. Both were good. I was worried about the pork chop. It looked over cooked when it arrived. It could have been a little juicier, but it wasn't as bad as I'd feared. It was very good when dunked in the accompanying sauce. The only real miss was garlic green beans. They were very overcooked for my taste, and had an off-putting flavor. (Burned garlic maybe?) The ambiance is lacking. The dinning room is not warm and inviting. It's OK for a family or business meal, but I don't think a date would be impressed. I think the prices were a bit high for a "$$" restaurant. $16 for a bison burger? Really? Their hours are different than those listed here. They are now closed on Mondays.

Great restaurant! Lots of options and our entire party enjoyed their food. The flatbread pizza and tacos were a hit. I enjoyed my pasta and the gator bites are wonderful! Service is excellent and the outside seating is a great option!

In the words of my 3.5 year old, "Ooohhh, I like this place!!". We were wanting to try something new and are definitely pleased with this place. We were hesitant about trying it out because we weren't sure how kid friendly Stonefire was, but after seeing a kid's menu on their website, we decided to give it a try. Its casual and upscale at the same time, meaning I felt comfortable there in my regular clothes, but I would also consider this for a date night or anniversary dinner as well. They are very welcoming :) The complimentary bagels are delicious with just a hint of sweetness. We tried a variety of menu items and were happy with them all. The flatbreads are a great way to start the meal. The brined, roasted chicken was a hit, as was the prime rib. Wilted spinach and mashed potatoes are both excellent side items as well. The guys ordered beers and were both thrilled with the selections. Stonefire American Grill has an assortment of draft, bottled, and high gravity beers, some of which we only see at a place like The Flying Saucer that specializes in beer. The service was exceptional during our visit. The waitress was incredibly friendly and didn't mind at all that we had our preschooler and baby with us. She was knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks and was able to make great suggestions based on our tastes.

Came here tonight for dinner - was absolutely blown away. The complimentary bagles were a nice touch to start the meal - we ordered the steak/blue cheese flat bread as an appetizer as suggested by Jamie our wonderful server. The carmelized onions and blue cheese made it - was awesome. I ordered the ribeye - was cooked to a perfect med/rare - the side of grits were great!! Jaimie was absolutely the definition of what I think people look for in a server. She was funny, engaging, gave an honest opinion and was just downright friendly. Will definitely come back here whenever I am in the area. I am visiting from the Washington, DC area - and would put this place up against any restaurant in that area.

Found this place via Yelp and glad we did! Great food with a gourmet flair; reasonable prices. We had a second helping of bread for dessert (unusual recipe). Good place to stop between FL and the North - not far off I-77.

A Horrible Experience! Ruined my Mother's 80th Birthday Celebration! We reserved their private room for 22 guests and they failed to accommodate us. Very poor management and very unprofessional attitude to their customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The Owner needs to reassess his management team!

This place just opened up a couple of months go, taking the place of Shag Bistro, which took the place of Mangia Mangia. Being the Northeast Columbian that I am, I figured I needed to give the new kid on the block a shot. Given the past two tenants, I didn't have high hopes going to Stonefire Grill. Unfortunately, they didn't exceed my expectations. The meal started out with some great bread, small bagels that they cook up in the wood oven. They are pretty heavily doused in butter & garlic, but otherwise good. We then started with a flatbread. That was also done in the wood oven and was the highlight of the meal. I got a house salad that consisted of a little bit of iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese from a bag, a couple of tomatoes, and a vinaigrette from the bottle. For my entree, I got the Mahi Mahi with the Carribean BBQ sauce and sauteed mushrooms and onions. The price of this was $18. What I got was about a 6 oz piece of unseasoned Mahi with a mesquite bbq sauce straight out of a bottle and a bowl of what I can only assume were frozen vegetables that had been barely sauteed and covered in salt. The only way I can really sum up this meal is extremely overpriced and completely uninspired. To add insult to injury, the person I was with ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich. Granted, the tuna was not up to my standards, but he got a bigger size serving of fish and a side, and only paid $12. I'm not usually a stickler for price at all, but that's pretty ridiculous. The decor hasn't really changed since Mangia Mangia opened, which is fine because it's done well. The bar is a nice setup and the restaurant is clean. The service is also pretty good. In the interest of full disclosure, my visit was about 6 weeks ago, and they only opened about 3 months ago. Let's hope they are still working out the kinks and will improve. I talked to someone that said the burgers there are pretty good, so if that's up your alley, it might be worth a shot.

Not the place to eat. Bypass this option and find something worth the money. Awful cuisine! Read my tip for details on the various meals our group had. No one was happy with their meal. It was just so bad!

Enjoyed our dinner. Varied menu...everything from flatbread to prime rib. Fish tacos were excellent....served with a variety of toppings. Very helpful and knowledgeable waitress. Locally brewed beer was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back.

Went here a few weeks ago for dinner on a Sunday night. I want to say how AMAZING the fried green tomatoes are. I don't even like tomatoes! The only thing I thought was weird was the music they were playing didn't match up with the decor. The decor was more of an upbeat jazz setting, not really a pop place. The dinner was very good though, I got the smoked chicken and of course the bagels that were served prior to the meal were tasty and a new feature I haven't seen before. I will def. be back!!
