Rosemary Inn Bed & Breakfast

I am not a B & B guy, but when my wife and I walked in the door of this southern jewel and were greeted by Kelly & Diana, my jaw dropped...we were both blown away by this wonderful property. The hospitality, decor, historic setting and wonderful service made this a "have to get back" place. The owners have taken the preservation and restoration of this beautiful landmark property to heart, overlooking no detail. The daily breakfast was an added treat. Whipped up by Diane & delivered to us by Kelly...on fine china with real silver silverware none the less. We loved hearing the history of the mansions and the area from both the owners. They have a mini-museum of pictures and artifacts that help tell the story of the area. If you're in the North Augusta area, don't miss out on the Rosemary Inn!
This turn-of-the-century mansion is beautifully decorated and has been immaculately restored. Kelly and Diana are very hospitable innkeepers. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast consisting of lemon curd fruit & yogurt, followed by Kelly's own delicious whole-grain pecan waffles with eggs & applewood bacon. Breakfast was served in the "Gentlemen's Parlor" room next to the dining room. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal! Perfect location. Excellent owners and staff. Prepare to relax, unwind and be pampered. The history that goes along with this place makes it that much more enjoyable. Restaurants in town are great as well.

Casual, low key place run by great people. Enjoyed the shrimp po' boy with a salad. Kids loved the burger. The pulled pork with their smoky sauce was perfection. Love this place. Perfect spot when you just want to relax and enjoy some favorite dishes!
Treated us like family, food was amazing. This place completely exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly and service was prompt and courteous.
This place really surprised us. It was pretty packed when we got there and for good reason. I ordered the fish tacos (thanks for the suggestion, Sabrina!) they're not on the menu but daaaaang. So good. $10.50 for 3 huge tacos that include fresh ingredients from their garden. They also have great beers on tap. All in all, I have a new favorite place in "Nor-Gust"!

Sno-Cap Drive In

Part of our drive across country and we needed lunch. Looking for mom and pop places that represented local flavor. We pulled up and decided to eat inside. We ordered hotdogs and burgers and a blt all with fries. The food was good but what makes this place great is the friendly service. The people working that day were do nice and noticed the states listed on our suburban windows from California to North Carolina. They struck up a conversation about our trip and offered to take our picture in front of their sign which I would post but it's in my camera not my phone. So nice.
Another landmark in North Augusta. I ate here as a child. One of the last old drive thrus around. Good food, kind staff. Family oriented.
The last of a dying breed, the Sno-Cap Drive In is pure Americana! The fantastic mid century drive in features several car spots and an indoor/outdoor seating area as well. The food is classic 60's dinner eats; think burgers/fries. We really enjoyed our shakes, fries, hot dog and turkey sandwich. Our waitress was adorable, upbeat and clearly loved her job which is awesome! We really enjoyed our lunch at the Sno-cap and would definitely come back again!

Jersey Mike’s Subs

Reviews:
Glad to see the new sister store to the bunch. Another great team and always delicious subs! Great idea with the new patio!
I recently came here to enjoy a sub one night. The food was great but it was an incident with the cashier that night that makes me think twice about coming here or even adding this to my favorite restaurant rotation. I hate when things like that happen when it doesn't have anything to do with the food but with other things in the business. I came in around 8ish on a weeknight. It wasn't busy but there were customers steadily coming in. I jumped in line where one of the sandwich makers was slicing meat right there. I was confused as which line to get in because she didn't stop what she was doing she just kept slicing meat and making small talk like which was her favorite sub, the best sellers, and where was I going and coming from. I told her I was ready to order and she stopped what she was doing and took my order. Then I proceeded to pay for my meal. This where my problem came in. I gave the cashier my debit card and she swiped it once and waited. She said that it's that time of night when the card machine takes a while to accept the payment. She swiped it again. She wasn't giving the machine time to process the payment. She was very impatient, there wasn't a line or anything that would make her want to rush. Then she punched my card number in and it finally went through. I went to sit and eat. I purchased the Club Supreme. It's a cold sub with turkey, roast beef, Swiss cheese, bacon, mayo and I got it Mike's Way® with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and The Juice--an exquisite splash of red wine vinegar and olive oil blend, and always finished with spices. It was very tasty, the bread was great as well. Me being a bread lover I couldn't get enough of it. I finished my meal and headed to another local business to get dessert. I gave the employee my card and he said it was declined. I know I had money on it but it was still declined. I had to give another form of payment. So I went home to call my bank and see what was going on. After talking to the customer service rep on the phone I realized that the cashier had in fact charged me twice for my meal which in turn but a hold on my card. The rep said that one payment went through and the other one was denied but the money was still taken off my card and it would take 5 business days for me to receive it back to the card. This highly upset me and made me not want to go to this store again even though the food was great. Maybe after a few weeks or so when my anger will have diminished and I will be able to go back in and enjoy more things off the menu but until then I'm still pissed!!!!!
Brand new location so have patience as all the staff is not properly trained, and were a bit overwhelmed with the steady flow of people coming in for dinner. It also was a bit messy because they were too busy to clean up. Generous with meat on the subs and the food is better than most sub places

Had my normal Texas sausage egg cheese melt and lots of refills on the coffee. Service was good - my coffee cup was never empty and I had a thirst on for it.

This time was really good. For some reason my original review of this place got moved to the waffle house downtown North Augusta. Any how this is my original review of this waffle house. ------------------ Been here twice lately. Slow service, food good. Second time service non existant, restuarant in complete mess - empty tables need cleaning everywhere, long line of people waiting. No one even bothered about it. Chimps tea party comes to mind. Hopefully it will improve as this is my local. On the second time we left and went to another waffle house. ------------------

First time there, good country cooking! Will definitely go back. Large chain restaurants should send their servers there to train, customer service was awesome!
Ok, this restaurant recently opened a few months ago and every time I passed here they were extremely packed. The whole parking lot would be full. So me being the person who loves to check out new restaurants, I put it on my list of places to try. The experience was ok. I wanted to get there before the crowd did so I decided to dine in as soon as they opened at 11am. They were steady but not as crowded as any other time. There were 3 bars of food and a salad bar. There was soul food staples there, such as Fried chicken, cabbage, rutabagas, macaroni, collard greens, rice and gravy, creamed corn, ribs, and chicken fried steak just to name a few. The things I tried were edible, but the stand outs were the chicken, cabbage, rice and gravy, and rutabagas. The other things I tried like the collard greens and macaroni were not to my liking. I would dine here again but I would eat at the Harvest Table before I eat here again.
AMBIENCE - B SERVICE - A FOOD - A+ PRICE - A+ ($7.50 includes tax and Sweet TEA!) ALL YOU CAN EAT! ... as good as it gets! This was once the "Chinese Buffet" - I'm glad they got rid of all those plastic plant dust collector decorations that hung over our head and food! Really great southern comfort food! Closed Mondays! Like the idea that there is something different every other day of the week! It's like going to a southern Grandma's and not knowing what you're going to have. There is a printed menu at the cashier for varied menu items prepared for the days of the week, but notes that items could be changed. The staple meats are always fried chicken and bbq chicken and boiled veggies and salad bar. I prefer the dark meat over the breast as the breast meat was a little dry. I've been twice and was quite surprised that I like almost everything! My favorite Varied items. fried fish, fried okra, ketchup meat loaf, Salisbury steak, fried pork chops, and fall off the bone pork ribs with a nice tangy bbq sauce! Delish! You'll have to grab that daily menu to figure out what's the best days to go for your favorite meats! Lots of wait staff always ensuring what you're needing and cleaning up your plates... always get a clean plate when going back to the buffet ... AND don't forget to ask for your TEA with the meal... you paid for it... might as well get it! Always seems crowded... if you have a big party, I would call ahead to reservce to ensure getting tables together. But it has a good turnover... no problem being seated immediately or within 3- 5 mins. What a great deal! Lunch or Dinner - $7.50 includes tax and comes with Sweet TEA! ... and get yo' mind out of the gutter - the BJ stands for "Baby Janes!"

This is an ideal place for a casual hot meal that's a step above fast food. The service is friendly and fairly quick unless they are super busy. We usually opt for chicken strips instead of traditional wings. Our favorite sauces are teriyaki and honey smoked BBQ. Sides we prefer are delicious baked beans, potato salad, fries and a side of carrot strips. Call ahead for takeout. Due to limited seating, this is not an ideal place to eat-in with a group. The Coke Freestyle is a cool feature.
Since I was in North Augusta and had a craving for what better place than the wing experts Wingstop!
The wings and fries are great. My wife is kn love with the ranch from this resturaunt for some reason.
