This place was amazing! So glad we stopped here. From the outside, you'd never know you're walking into such great service, delicious food, and spectacular sauce. Loved it!

I was traveling down 95 and felt like pizza. Good old yelp did not disappoint. I found this high four star place and decided to try it. There is absolutely no signage on the highway for this joint. None. And like everybody else said, the sign in front of the restaurant is in shambles. It looks closed. Inside, clean as can be, except some dust on the fans. :-( Service was a little slow but SO friendly, I forgive that. Food was terrific. Split a large pepperoni pan pizza. Couple notes. First, the pan is a thin crust, like new York in a pan. It's good, but not a typical thick pan crust. Also, toppings are under the cheese instead of on top. Both are style choices and frankly it made the pie unique. It was very good. Price was very reasonable. The large 15" pepperoni pie was about 12.50 with tax.

This place looks closed from the outside. You wouldn't know it from the looks of the faded half torn off signage or the dilapidated motel next door but the food was EXCELLENT. A great stop for food along the way. Highly recommend the feta cheese plate, corn poppers, and the pizza. Don't let the appearance of the place stop you. Just close your eyes and go with it. They also serve Fat Tire on draft.

Great place to eat! Fantastic pizza! Everything tasted so fresh. The place seems to be loved by the locals. Found the restaurant while heading to NC from FL.

We were on a drive up from Florida and weren't sure our hungry little selves could make it to Florence before eating...so we took a chance and stopped here! Glad we did because it ended up being a nice place to chill and eat. Service was friendly but slow, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone who really wants to get a move on, but we welcomed the break. We ordered jalapeño poppers (delicious), a chicken souvlaki (good, but perhaps a bit too creamy, if that's possible) and a meat lovers pizza. The pizza was a bit greasy, but thin crust and tasty. Between 5 of us, the xx-large was more than enough and quite satisfying too. Not (by a long shot) the best pizza I've ever had, but compared to some of the other places we've stopped on road trips (and had pizza with canned veggies on it), this was a great stop

We got a pepperoni pizza and a hamburger pizza. Both were very good. Best pizza outside of New York I have ever had. The outside decor does it no justice but I the food is worth making a stop off I-95.

My husband and I tried this place today and I must say we we're very impressed. Now when you pull up to this place, the sign and location doesn't do it justice at all in fact we almost turned around when we saw the sign. It needs some TLC as does the outside of the building. With that being said the inside of the building was very nice and completely clean and friendly. We were a little confused at first as there was no sign telling you to wait or seat yourself, but we found a booth and sat ourselves and a waitress was right behind us bringing menus and taking our drink orders. We had the pleasure of a woman named Donna waiting on us and we're not sure if she was the owner/manager or what, but she was with out a doubt the nicest woman we've had waiting on us. They had a buffet being offered with a variety of meats and side dishes and dessert, but we opted to order off the menu. Their menu was not lacking in choices. They had appetizers, pizza, pasta, burgers, gyro's sandwiches and steaks. It all looked fabulous. We had seen other yelp reviews suggesting the pizza was amazing and that's what I wanted. I order just small cheese pizza and the hubby got the baked ziti. Both came out looking amazing. The pizza was delicious, no frozen items here. It was all very fresh and had a great taste. The crust was cooked perfectly. It was crispy but not hard and soft in the center. The baked ziti my husband got looked amazing covered in gooey cheese, and it didn't disappoint either. We were there for lunch and the portions were too large for us to finish in one setting and we both took ours to go. We will both be coming back to Georgio's again. I just wish the outside of the building matched the hidden gem inside.
