This is my favorite middle eastern restaurant. George the owner is very polite and treats you like family. He also has a stone oven where he bakes his pizzas. The food is delicious!! :) now I saw his older son helping in the restaurant too. Delicious food, pretty place and a very nice family!

Food is ok. Nothing great but nothing horrible. We did not try the Italian food we went to have Greek/Mediterranean. If your looking for good Mediterranean food try the Pita Grille.

Has vast amounts of potential for food, but fell epically short... Stopped in for dinner because the fiancé was wanting pizza and wood fired pizza is always a great option, well normally. So far Greenville area has disappointed me in wood fire pizza. Everyone has dropped the ball, this place kept up with the tradition. Price: the price was a little high for the quality of food and portion size. If the quality was increased the price would be spot on. Quality= fresh dough, flavorful dough, hot oven and flavorful sauce. Pizza: Wood fired pizza to me is amazing if done right. The dough seemed either old or store bought/precooked. It was very dense, did little rising when cooking which was demonstrated in the crust, well lack of crust... The oven definitely was not hot enough to crisp the bottom of the pizza. The crust was crispy but I had to contemplate eating with a fork due to the lack of crispness to the bottom. The ingredients were plentiful and good, but the sauce and dough lacked flavor. I believe the pizza was right at 15$ for a meat lovers 10" pizza. This was extremely steep for what we got Bruschetta: this is an interesting take on an Italian classic. For the price the portion size was plenty but the overall execution of the dish lacked. The tomato/onion mixed tasted like it was pickled, well at least the onions did. It definitely did not taste super fresh. The bread was good and toasted well. The feta cheese was lacking in taste, tasted like cheap feta and not a reasonably quality feta cheese one might see in Mediterranean/Italian style atmosphere. Inside: The inside was dark, outdated, and reeked of smoke from the oven. There is no real uniforms and looked a little unorganized. The service was awesome and the staff friendly!

Cheesesteak sub was really good. Service... Not so good. I went around 1:00 on a Friday, there were about 4 booths that were occupied. I think it was the owner who waited on me, well sort of. A young kid came and took my order (not writing it down). I ordered spinach pies for an appetizer, but my cheesesteak sub was brought to me first. I had ordered fries, they came about 5 minutes after the spinach pies. The man finally came and checked on me, he was very nice when he started talking. As I said earlier the cheesesteak sub was awsome, the spinach pies were hard and not a lot of taste. I will go back to try a wood fired pizza, I saw one on the way out, and it looked wonderful. Note to George.... Hire a waitress that knows what she's doing and YOU just socialize and be owner

Authentic Lebanese food right out of Tata's kitchen! Who knew this existed in Greer?!? Great classics like kafta, kibbe, wanna anib, etc. A bit rough arnound the edges but if you can get past the noise of the freezer, it's great. We had appetizer of grape leaves and sambousek and the Lebanese combo platter. We have enough for lunch tomorrow as well. Will come back here again soon!

Great place. We didn't know this place was there - it's not on our normal route through town. We decided to take a different route one day and saw this place. It's only a block from Wade Hampton Blvd. They have the traditional Italian fare but also have some Lebanese dishes that you don't normally see. The pizzas are the brick oven style and excellent. We tried a Lebanese appetizer that was an eggplant based dipping sauce - it was excellent. There's an outdoor patio that the waitress said people will smoke hookah pipes.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
