We usually enjoy sitting in the bar area and asked to be seated there but quickly changed our minds when we noticed the old food, dirt, and grime below the booth seat. The bar area also had an overwhelming smell of fish; old fish. The less than enthusiastic hostess re-seated us in another area and we were quickly greeted by our server, Mary. The service was good but our menus were dirty, the salt and pepper shakers on the table were caked with stuck on food and the walls next to our booth were dirty. The food was sub-par. The potato soup was more like a cheese soup with a few potatoes thrown in. One of the members in our party ordered the Better Cheddar Bacon Burger, medium-well. It arrived to the table beyond well done, crispy and dry. I had the Cajun chicken pasta lunch special with a Caesar salad. Apparently the chain has a new menu and the Caesar dressing, which I've had many times in the past, is now made with anchovy paste. It had a very strong fish taste and while I love fish I could not eat it. The pasta was good. Another member of our party enjoyed the Southern Pecan Chicken Salad. I've eaten at this restaurant many, many times over the last 10 years and this was by-far the worst experience I've had. The lack of cleanliness was the most disturbing.

Wait time for a table was 8 minutes at door. She said they usually are not busy on Saturday morning but had a large amount of people come in. Otherwise great visit on 9/21/13. Ashli was a very attentive server. Had chicken grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, potato soup, with a twisted chips app. We're brought double bread rolls. Other waitress from different section (Meagan) even jumped in and gave refills and was also very friendly and helpful. All food came out quickly. Everything was delicious. We have had great customer service here multiple times.

Both times I've been there, the service was bad, we where ignored for 5-10 mins then finally someone comes over saying has anyone taken care of you yet. I am a server and both times the server seemed like she could care less about taking care of us. Maybe because of our age.

Had a pint of guiness. It wasn't on draft :( Had the fish and chips. Was very busy and seemed chaotic at times. Luckily we were in a relaxed mood. A victim of their own success i think.

Wow, ten old ladies, all of us wanting this or that or the other and we were cared for like Queens. Trella (not sure this is correct) was our server. You should have her cloned. If you did, you would have no problems. She took all of our orders and remembered them better than we did, no pad, no paper and she was kind and sweet. The food is always good and the free pie on Wednesday, perfect! No complaints from the ten of us, only "How's she do that?"

I don't understand how this place attracts such a crowd. It's OK for a soup and salad lunch, but if you're in a large group, choose another restaurant. The food isn't bad - it's just not great. The hot rolls were the best thing we ate there.

My favorite chain restaurant in Greenwood! Best steaks in town, way better than outback! Love their waffles on Sunday. Their Parmesan fish & shrimp is also a fav. Can't believe some of these other reviews. The only thing I've ever had there that I didn't like was the catfish but that's the only thing. You can't beat free pie Wednesday's either. Caramel pie... Oh yeah!

It's not a good sign when you use a coupon, as I did recently, and still come away dissatisfied. The service was good, and so was the food. But $2.50 for tea? That's ridiculous, sorry.

waitress Shannon b. was worst excuse for a waitress I have ever had at a o'charley's restaurant . she screwed up our order and never apologized for this , but the manager tried to smooth it over and the hostess tried to straighten Shannon's mess out , but by this time I was so disgusted by our non-service from Shannon that I was simply ready to leave and wished I had went somewhere else . my wife commented to manager that J . Peters was now in town and O'Charley's had better step up there service when the manager informed us that Shannon had previously been employed at J. Peters and I was thinking on the way out the door that surely she was fired from there because I have never had that inferior of service at any J.peters restaurant in any city in south Carolina . FOOd is/was always good at o'charley's but this was by far worst service by a waitress ever .

Staff is sometimes friendly, other times downright mechanical. I was once seated by what I swear was a terminator robot. That's not what REALLY grinds my gears about this place, though. It's the fact that I sat down and was recommended the "strawberry lemonade" by our waiter, who also kept asking "would you like a refill?" with his shit eating grin, only to find out that we were being charged almost $3 per glass of that crap. What started as a 2 for $15 advertised deal ended up being a $34 fiasco that I did not pay for. I'll never go back. Their pasta is pretty good though...

We waited for a few minutes after being seated but the manager noticed we had not been served and had one of the staff attend to us immediately with fantastic service. The food was very good as usual and the waitress was attentive but not overly so as some are. The way this manager handled this situation was impressive. She then came over and apologized then comped the appetizer. This was not expected. We have met her before while eating because she comes by your table to inquire on quality of food and service. She is fantastic and every restaurant should be managed this way. We will continue to return.

Very friendly staff, ashley the bar tender is great. Have had a couple problems but they always get resolved right away without any issues.
